The Ogre's Prey
As the troll’s massive footsteps faded into the distance, I barely managed to choke out a breath from the mud. I had survived. By some worthless stroke of luck, the monster had ignored the bait entirely.
“You fucking bastards… what the hell are you doing—!!”
The relief of still being alive had barely settled before a seething rage surged straight to the top of my skull. Clutching my blood-soaked ankle, I whipped my head toward Kael and the rest of the party, eyes burning with venom. But every curse I’d been ready to spit at them died in my throat the moment I saw their faces.
Kael, Vance, Borman, Elara. Four seasoned Silver-rank adventurers who had seen every horror the continent could offer were staring past me with bloodless, corpse-like expressions, as if they had just locked eyes with Death itself.
“O… Ogre…”
Mage Vance’s lips trembled violently as the word slipped out, drenched in terror.
THUD—!
At the same time, right behind my back, an overwhelming vibration that seemed to twist my organs erupted alongside a skin-crawling killing intent. The true source of the fear the troll had felt. The real ruler of the Black Moss Forest had arrived.
Fuck!
Sorcery Stock: Release
Regeneration — Beast Transformation
My tattoos ignited across my entire body. Muscles swelled past human limits while razor-sharp claws burst from my fingertips. My stats had been forcibly inflated beyond their breaking point. Using that raw power, I swallowed the agony of my severed Achilles tendon and spun like a madman.
What filled my vision was a four-meter-tall abomination—mountainous slabs of muscle drenched in blood, gripping a colossal iron club. The Ogre’s hideous face leered down at me.
It swung its enormous backhand as if swatting an annoying fly. I never even considered fighting back. Crossing both arms to form a pathetic meat shield against that dump-truck-sized fist was the only desperate act my combat instincts could manage.
WHAAAAAAM—!!!
“Ghk—?!”
The defense I had inflated through Beast Transformation shattered like cheap glass. The bones in my crossed arms splintered, ribs snapped in rapid succession, and my body was sent flying dozens of meters before slamming into a dead tree. My vision flashed white. Consciousness was violently dragged into darkness.
“…Haa, huff!”
I woke up vomiting a mouthful of clotted blood. Ten seconds, fifteen at most. Yet the pain of every bone in my body feeling pulverized dominated my entire nervous system. Blood still gushed from the ruined tendon in my leg.
“Urgh… Sorcery, Regeneration…”
With shaking fingers I groped across the ground. The blood wasn’t mine. I scraped together a handful of the troll’s scattered flesh and gore that the Ogre had crushed and sprayed everywhere. Using the blood of a monster far above me—one possessing insane regenerative power—as a medium, I improvised a crude sorcery.
I forcibly crammed the bloody mass into the severed end of my Achilles tendon and activated the spell. Heat seared my skin as the troll’s blood fused grotesquely with my own tissue, stopping the hemorrhage. It wasn’t proper healing. It was a horrific emergency patch that simply lashed the muscles together so I could move.
The moment I lifted my head, the first thing I saw was the troll’s massive corpse lying nearby, half its skull pulped. It was the same troll that had fled past us moments earlier. One casual swing of the Ogre’s iron club had turned its head into red paste.
“GRAAAAAAGH!!”
Beyond the troll’s corpse, a one-sided slaughter between the Ogre and the Silver-rank party was unfolding in all its horrific glory.
“Borman! Hold the line! If it breaks through, we’re all dead!” Kael roared, veins bulging. Shield warrior Borman planted his tower shield into the earth, cloaking himself in fighting spirit to block the Ogre’s charge.
From the tip of Vance’s staff, violent bursts of flame and lightning hammered the Ogre’s thick hide.
BOOM—! CRASH!
Brilliant magical flashes lit the forest. Yet when the smoke cleared, only faint scorch marks remained on the Ogre’s skin.
The Ogre roared in irritation and drove its bare fist down onto Borman’s tower shield.
KWAAAAAANG—!!
“GRAAAAAGH!”
The mana-coated steel shield crumpled like paper and exploded. Both of Borman’s arms shattered, bones punching through skin. The Ogre lifted its massive foot and stomped down on the warrior’s torso. With a sound like a rotten watermelon bursting, the shield warrior was crushed into the mud.
“You monstrous fuck—!!”
Kael dove into the Ogre’s blind spot in a fury. Blue aura cloaked his greatsword as he carved a deep gash into the creature’s thigh. The Ogre, instead of showing pain, smiled with vulgar glee and seized the entire sword in one massive hand. The blade bit into its palm, but it ignored the wound and hoisted Kael into the air.
“Let go! Let go of me! Vance! Magic—!”
“S-stay back!! Flare Storm!”
Terrified, Vance unleashed indiscriminate flames, but the Ogre simply used Kael’s suspended body as a living shield. The burning warrior screamed in agony as the Ogre hurled his flaming corpse straight at the mage.
SPLAT—!
The sheer impact ruptured Vance’s internal organs instantly. A total party wipe in mere seconds. The only survivor was Elara, the female rogue trembling at the rear, twin daggers shaking in her grip.
“Hii… hiik… A-aaaah…!”
Confronted with absolute powerlessness, she dropped her weapons and staggered backward. She didn’t even notice her pants darkening with urine.
The Ogre took heavy, deliberate steps until it loomed directly over her. I expected its palm to crush her skull. Instead, its murky yellow eyes gleamed not with destruction, but with sticky, primal, alien lust.
“KYAAAAAAAH—!”
The Ogre’s rough hand snatched Elara’s waist and lifted her into the air. She thrashed wildly, but it only snorted in amusement at her futile resistance.
Riiiiip—!
Its blunt fingers mercilessly tore away her leather armor and pants. Pale flesh was exposed to the poisonous air of the Black Moss Forest.
The Ogre had no intention of killing her. Instead, it studied her curved body with the eyes of someone examining a living toy it planned to use for breeding and amusement.
“S-save me… please, please…!”
Her wet, despairing sobs echoed as I hid behind a thick tree root and watched the hellish scene without making a sound. My mind panted like a cornered animal, my heart hammered against my ribs, but my instincts had already finished a cold, ruthless calculation.
The Ogre’s attention is completely fixed on her.
I still have one Sorcery Stock left.
And right beside me is the troll’s corpse—its heart still warm.
My yellow beast eyes flashed with a chilling arc in the darkness. I swallowed the blood in my mouth and released my final stored sorcery.
Stealth
The tattoos covering me dimmed as my presence melted damply into the forest background. The forcibly reattached Achilles tendon throbbed violently, but I had no time to scream.
Ten meters ahead, naked hell was unfolding.
“A-aaaagh…! Please, just kill me…!”
The once-proud Silver-rank adventurer Elara was pinned beneath the Ogre’s massive palm, limbs spread like livestock awaiting slaughter. The Ogre buried its hideous face between her trembling thighs.
“Human female. Weak… but the scent is good.”
Its thick, rough tongue mercilessly dragged across her most intimate place.
“Hiik! A-aaack! It’s filthy—stop—!”
“Filthy? No. This is preparation. If the breeding board that receives my seed tears too quickly, it becomes useless.”
The Ogre cared nothing for human emotion or connection. Only biological excretion and the urge to dominate made its muddy eyes glitter. It clamped one hand around her throat as if ready to crush it and drew out a cock thicker than a grown man’s thigh, veins bulging grotesquely.
It ground the massive glans against her lips. Viscous precum dripped onto her face.
“Open your mouth, female. Before you become the toilet that accepts my seed, I will brand the taste of a male into you first.”
“Ugh—! Uup! Urk—!”
The enormous mass filled her mouth. Tears streamed down Elara’s face as she gagged. The Ogre, clearly enjoying himself, roughly shoved a thick finger into her narrow lower entrance.
“Aaaack! It hurts! It hurts—!!”
“Not yet. Human females break so easily… but you look sturdy. An excellent breeding board that won’t tear no matter how many times I pump my seed into you.”
The Ogre yanked her lower body closer and aimed its monstrous cock at her glistening entrance.
“I’m entering. Even if it tears, don’t you dare die.”
“No—please—! Uggghhh—!!”
The moment the words left its mouth, the Ogre thrust upward with brutal force. A sickening crunch echoed as Elara’s narrow passage was violently stretched beyond its limits. The overwhelming mass slammed straight into her cervix. Her back arched like a bow and her eyes rolled back, showing only white.
“Cough—! Haa… haa…!”
“Kuhahaha! So tight! The hot flesh is gripping me perfectly!”
The Ogre began to piston with savage breaths. Thud! Thud! The sounds filling the forest were not of flesh meeting flesh but of a heavy blunt weapon smashing into mud. Each thrust lifted Elara’s body a full handspan off the ground. The hideous outline of the Ogre’s cock bulging through her thin belly was clearly visible from the outside.
There was no delicate pleasure here—only a massive male’s flesh violently violating and reshaping a female’s womb.
“Aaaaah! Aaagh! My stomach—my stomach is tearing apart—! Save me, please—!”
“Save you? You are now nothing more than a board to birth my offspring. Every night you will be filled with my semen. You will survive by chewing on the meat of your dead comrades lying over there. That is the only fate left for you.”
The Ogre took her breast into its mouth and crushed it mercilessly. Elara’s moans gradually warped into abnormal, broken cries where pain and forced pleasure intertwined. Her intellect was collapsing, leaving only the submission of a female.
Taking advantage of the madness, I crept toward the troll’s corpse with my presence erased by stealth sorcery. My heart pounded wildly. I knew the spell wasn’t perfect—especially against a creature with senses as sharp as an Ogre’s. But I had no other choice.
I held my breath and drove my bone knife into the troll’s chest. Dark red blood, still warm, gushed out. I collected the heart’s blood into the leather pouch I had prepared, then carved through bone and flesh to rip out the entire massive heart.
Scrape. Scrape.
The sound of the blade cutting meat seemed deafening. Sweat stung my eyes, but I didn’t dare wipe it away.
The instant I tried to stuff the heart into my bag, a cold sensation brushed the back of my neck. I froze and slowly turned my head.
The Ogre, still violently thrusting into Elara, had turned its hideous face and was staring directly at me—hidden inside the stealth sorcery. Its enormous yellow eyes locked onto mine. It had known I was there from the beginning. Yet its gaze contained no killing intent.
To the Ogre, I was not a threat. I wasn’t even worth the effort of stepping on. I was less than dust. Its priority was to satisfy its breeding lust by ravaging the female beneath it. My pathetic escape could be dealt with whenever it felt bored—an overwhelming, arrogant indifference only the truly strong could afford.
The Ogre snorted once in my direction as if annoyed, then gripped Elara’s pelvis tightly again and resumed its savage thrusts.
“Aaaaang! Ugiit! Haaauuung!!”
Elara’s scream-laced cries rose wetly once more. I didn’t waste the fleeting opportunity. Clutching the bag containing my spoils, I swallowed the horrific pain from my makeshift tendon and sprinted madly toward the opposite side of the forest.
Behind me echoed the wet slapping of flesh, a woman’s broken sobs, and the Ogre’s beastly grunting. I never looked back—not even once—until every sound had faded into the distance.
The night in Shedborax grew deeper. Reeking of thick blood, I hurried toward my safe zone. Inside my chest churned a turbulent mix: the heavy weight of the troll heart in my bag, the primal terror of nearly pissing myself beneath a superior being’s gaze, and the cold, thrilling satisfaction of having survived and accomplished my goal.
The Ogre would soon collect Elara and the corpses of her comrades and return to its lair. There, she would lose all control of her body and spend the rest of her life as a living incubator for its monstrous offspring.
Sorry, but that won’t be me.
I clenched my teeth hard as I left the forest. With the troll heart I had obtained today, I would complete an indestructible Substitute Doll. And the next time I faced that Ogre, I would grind its head beneath my heel and return the exact same sneer it had given me.
