My Reputation is Ruined
My reputation is ruined.
There is such a thing as common sense.
Knowledge that people generally know, or ought to know.
Just as the answer to one plus one is unlikely to change, people treat this common sense as an immutable truth.
It is extremely rare for a player who couldn't perform to their potential throughout scrims to suddenly excel in a real match.
Usually, it's the opposite. While the pressure of a real match might cause someone to collapse, there is no reason for them to perform worse in scrims.
Thus, the viewers never expected Yu Nabi to pull off anything.
Because that would defy common sense.
However, absolute, unchanging common sense was surprisingly rare.
《 Wait, is this even possible?! 》
《 La Ensis's Deafening Curse. That is, the auditory block debuff has been applied to their own teammate, DoNotTalkToMe! 》
《 During Frenzy, the visual effects are incredibly intense. Even if you keep trying to talk to them, they can barely hear a thing, but... 》
《 She is in a state of complete uncontrollability, player DoNotTalkToMe! 》
Furthermore, having one's senses blocked during combat is a critical crisis.
Especially in the case of hearing, you lose the ability to hear not only the sound effects of enemy skills but also the instructions of your teammates.
If a retreat order is given and you charge in alone, you immediately become a moth to a flame.
Your teammates, spamming question mark pings, would start questioning your family history.
And what exactly is Frenzy?
Originally, it was a sort of suicide skill used to go out in a blaze of glory in the middle of enemy lines.
True to its dictionary definition of 'running wild in a mad frenzy,' it is a skill that turns you into a rabid dog.
In a normal game, the risk is simply too high to bear.
That was why Berserkers usually structured their builds to tone down the effects, opting for something like 'Controlled Madness' to make it viable in real matches.
Yet, what Yu Nabi used was none other than True Frenzy.
It was a skill that amplified the effects in exchange for making the risks absolutely impossible to mitigate.
Unless someone was completely out of their mind, they would never slot a skill like this into their build.
Right now, Yu Nabi's mind was essentially isolated.
Common sense and Yu Nabi's personal thoughts crossed paths in a bizarre way.
'The buff itself is good, but... she's put herself in a situation where she can't handle the aftermath. What on earth is she thinking?'
'It lets me focus entirely on the fight by myself, and it even buffs the effects? This is absolutely the best!'
And so, everyone's common sense was utterly shattered.
A Berserker running wild, unable to even recognize her own allies.
Yu Nabi, who they expected to burn out and die in an instant, was showing a performance more intense than ever before.
Every time her battleaxe swung, the Martial Artist and the Dual Blader were pushed back heavily.
Instead of launching a coordinated pincer attack, the two were taking turns focusing entirely on defense.
That was how overwhelming Yu Nabi's momentum was.
《 Wow, this... was the Berserker class always this strong?! 》
《 Even though that player looks like she's alone, she isn't actually alone. The observer is showing it perfectly right now. 》
《 Do you see player DoNotTalkToMe's buff bar right now? 》
《 There are too many to count! She is receiving concentrated care! 》
There was one thing the commentators had been emphasizing throughout this game.
That Na Jia's team composition was ultimately a "carry me" comp.
The reason they had struggled so much in scrims was ultimately because Yu Nabi, one of the team's two wings, hadn't been able to deliver.
But now that Yu Nabi had spread her wings in a way no one could have anticipated,
Na Jia's team composition, finally having someone to actually carry, began to make sense.
The Artilleryman's fire support rained down on the backline of the battlefield.
A carpet bombing executed by a single player. Boosted by the Saint's accuracy buffs, the artillery fire menacingly pressured the enemy's rear guard.
On top of that, the Warlock's area-of-effect slow curse spread, and the Chain Master's chains split the enemy formation in two.
The crucial point was that the battlefield had been divided.
Two pitiful herbivores had been thrown right in front of a ferocious beast.
《 Nobody can stop her, player DoNotTalkToMe! 》
《 There is absolutely no way two melee DPS can block that! 》
《 Maybe if they had at least one tank, it would be different, but those two will literally die in just a few axe swings! 》
《 Even the Sniper, who was positioned away to keep the Artilleryman in check, is hurriedly rotating back! 》
《 Ah! That was a direct hit! Did you see their HP melt?! 》
It was a spectacular sight.
A girl wrapped in a crimson aura unilaterally driving back two men.
Whenever her battleaxe collided with something—be it the ground, a giant tombstone, or a person—it was left in ruins.
The petite girl leaped high into the air.

The corrupted system messages popped up repeatedly.
Frenzy was a skill designed around the concept of complete loss of reason.
Not only communication with teammates, but even system information was censored, making it difficult to decipher.
In reality, I couldn't tell at all whether the effects I received were blessings or curses.
No. Actually, there was exactly one thing left.
The physical sensations my body felt.
Whether my movements had sped up or slowed down. How the axe felt in my hands.
As long as I focused solely on my own body, nothing else was difficult.
The spilled milk was already spilt.
Now, whether I liked it or not, I had no choice but to pulverize the enemies in front of me.
There shouldn't be any teammates near me.
Under the effects of Frenzy, the surrounding environment blurs, and all living things appear as red silhouettes.
Even if they were allies, illusions of them attacking me would appear, making it impossible to distinguish them with the naked eye.
Since they had decided to leave me entirely alone anyway, I swung my axe without reservation.
My thoughts on this situation were simple:
'This. Is incredibly fun.'
Every single attack landed with a heavy impact.
The tactile sensation transmitted from the axe sent shivers running through my veins.
I didn't care about defense.
Because I trusted my lifesteal effects and my teammates' support.
Even if I died, it would be fine as long as my opponent didn't walk away in one piece.
The enemy composition lacked sustain.
Therefore, I persisted solely in attacking.
If I killed the opponent first, there would be no way for me to die.
Perhaps this was the thrill of battle; the adrenaline rushing through my brain was driving me wild.
The world was quiet.
Since I couldn't hear anything, I could focus entirely on the sound of the metronome in my mind.
With nothing but enemies around me, the solution was also clear.
My favorite means of communication was, after all, not my mouth, but my axe.

How many thrilling clashes had it been?
My axe cleaved straight down onto the crown of a red silhouette.
Seeing the form completely vanish, it seemed I had successfully silenced them.
Even after killing one, I didn't stop.
No. To be precise, I had no intention of stopping until this match was over!

My blood boiled.
Whether it was literally boiling or not, I could feel a distinct heat radiating from my body.
A tingling excitement kept egging me on.
Where was the next enemy?
In the midst of the chaotic melee, my sense of direction was already completely lost.
I gauged the enemy's position by the booming vibrations shaking the ground.
If artillery was falling, it meant the enemy was in that direction.
After shaking the blood off my axe, I moved once more in search of battle.
Looking at the burning-hot community forums, I thought:
My reputation is ruined.
People are starting to misunderstand me in the most ridiculous way.
