Lene's Declaration: "I'll Manage the Chat From Now On"

I stared at the system windows floating in front of me and froze.

The number of ways to become a heretic just went up…?

Somehow the atmosphere in the chat had become a familiar pattern. I never wanted this, but I’d grown used to it. These days, imagining a clean chat actually felt empty. Unfortunately though, this atmosphere would end today. It was about time to pull out the sword.

It didn’t really matter to me, but quite a few people found this level of chaos unpleasant. There was also another reason.

“Hmm…”

The chat was full of comments about the Skadi Church. There were also quite a few mentioning the World Tree Church. I had clearly said during my debut stream that I wouldn’t talk about New Dimension… They were obviously trying to farm me on purpose. Unfortunately I didn’t really have any reaction I could give them. Because right now I was the VTuber Lene who doesn’t play New Dimension….

─Are you saying right now that the streamer with the exact same name as the room owner is an idiot female evil malicious troll???

While having this conversation that had somehow become a fixed pattern, I showed my believers the reason I had turned on the stream today.

“U-um…. Honestly I also w-wonder if it’s really necessary… but there is a reason….”

To be honest, I actually like this chat atmosphere. It’s fun and interesting… That’s why until now I hadn’t hired a manager and had only been blocking chats that truly crossed the line. However, there were two main reasons I decided to recruit a manager.

The first was that more people than I expected found this kind of chat atmosphere unpleasant.

“I received a notice… saying that it seems like I’ve been neglecting chat management… directly from a Riming administrator….”

The second reason was exactly what I just said. A warning had arrived from the Riming site administrator. It said that if I didn’t properly manage the chat, they would have no choice but to take action. When I checked the notice after finishing New Dimension during the day I was genuinely shocked….

Anyway, for those reasons I decided to recruit a manager for today’s stream.

“A-anyway! I will now select a manager…! If you want to be a manager, please send me a private message with your Riming ID and the reason you want to be a manager…!”

After receiving manager applications for five minutes, a total of 413 believers had applied. That was way more than I expected….

“I’m sorry there are so many… For now I’ll choose people I’m at least somewhat familiar with….”

After filtering them once and then filtering them again based on their past chat history, fifty believers remained. It was time to move on to the next step.
