Time for Confession
The stream title read Confession Time.
[Lene] [Confession Time] [Talk | 5,913 watching | 01:01:35]
“Uh… I’m sorry, but that level of thing is a bit…”
“No, you said you’d forgive me if I apologized first! That’s why I came even though it’s fucking embarrassing!”
“I believe it’s wrong for a single mistake to make someone suffer for the rest of their life.”
“So I made one mistake this time too…!”
“But you’re aware, Tace, that most of those posts were made after I asked you to stop, right…? As for the ones posted before that, I only deleted them if they weren’t too serious…”
“Puhahaha!”
In a dark room, a man was laughing while staring at the only source of light—the monitor.
“You said it was just one mistake, right…? After I posted that I wanted you to stop, did you really do nothing, Tace…?”
“T-that’s…”
“Did you really do it by mistake, Tace…? Did you truly not know that someone might get hurt after reading your posts…? Even if it wasn’t me, did you really not realize that other people might feel bad after seeing them? Did you write all those posts without knowing that…?”
“Still, you were the one who said first…”
“I don’t want to say this, but I don’t think the number eighty-one can come out by mistake…. So if you truly intend to repent, Tace…”
“…Fuck!”
Ding!
“Puhahahahaha!!!”
The moment the MissCode notification rang in his ears, the man clutched his stomach and started laughing like a madman.
“Puhuhuhup…! What an idiot. He actually believed the ‘I’ll forgive you’ line and went to apologize?”
He genuinely mocked the ‘Tace’ who had just cursed. After all, he was convinced there was no way the woman currently streaming would actually forgive him.
“Thinking you can be forgiven after posting shit like that in the first place makes you the crazy one.”
That was why he had no intention of apologizing to her. To him, his momentary pleasure was the most important thing. The mere fact that she might have suffered because of his posts was enough.
The knowledge that a woman with the kind of body he had seen in the video might have cried because of his words brought him the greatest pleasure. That alone was enough to satisfy him.
“Then who should I go for next~.”
After laughing his fill, the man closed her stream and began searching for his next target. He wasn’t particularly obsessed with her. He knew that no matter how hard he tried, he could never reach a woman like that, so once he had obtained a moment of pleasure, he was satisfied.
‘Well, it’s obvious she wasn’t actually planning to sue anyway. She’s clearly just using this as broadcast content.’
It was obviously nothing to brag about, but he had plenty of experience with this sort of thing. That was why he knew that even if streamers talked about suing, they usually didn’t actually go through with it.
It was an image issue for streamers. Plus the hassle of money and time made lawsuits something they inevitably avoided. Especially for solo streamers who weren’t part of an MCN.
‘Even if I do get sued, I can just deny it was me…. And even if they find out it was me, wouldn’t a few跪 apologies be enough?’
Having concluded there was nothing to worry about, the man yawned and moved his mouse.
‘Maybe I’ll look for some low-level targets for the first time in a while…’
Like that, the name ‘Lene’ slowly began to fade from the man’s mind.
“Son~. A piece of mail came for you?”
“Yeah. Just leave it. I’ll look at it later.”
“…Wait a second. A lawsuit?! Son, what the hell is this?!”
“…What?”
One month later. Until the lawsuit addressed to his name arrived.
“What the hell has this bastard been doing instead of going to school!!!”
“Calm down, honey!”
“Dad. It’s not like that…”
“Shut up! Who’s your dad?! I never raised a son who says shit like this to a girl!”
“T-that’s…”
“Does it feel unfair? If it feels unfair, then read the posts you wrote out loud in front of your parents like a man!”
The man had no idea who he had messed with.
“Ah, fuck~! I’m telling you it was just a joke and I got sued? Ugh…. I’ll send you the link so take a look. You can’t even say this much on the internet? What a shitty world…”
“[…You wrote this?]”
“Yeah! Anyone can see it was just a joke. Right?”
“[…Ah, yeah.]”
Of course, just as the man thought, many solo streamers don’t actually proceed with lawsuits for reasons like image, time, or money.
“Hey, the guys said they don’t want to see you at gatherings anymore, so don’t come.”
“What the fuck? Shouldn’t you at least hear my side first?! We’ve been together for almost ten fucking years…”
“Cut the bullshit. After seeing what kind of posts you’ve been writing everywhere, you think ‘hear me out’ is even a sentence? How do I know you weren’t thinking the same shit about my girlfriend?”
“What kind of nonsense is that…!”
“Anyway, don’t show up in front of us again. If I see you I’ll really smash your head in. You should be grateful I’m the one coming out to tell you nicely. Everyone else was just going to block you and cut ties completely.”
But the streamer he had messed with was not an ordinary solo streamer.
The one he had touched was Lene—a streamer who didn’t care much about her image as a content creator and had more than enough time to roll around at home. Moreover, since Health Project had promised to handle all the legal matters related to this lawsuit, Lene could literally just stay at home and everything would proceed on its own.
And since a lawsuit was something that complicated a person’s life in many ways even if it didn’t result in prison time…
“This is so fucking annoying, seriously…”
In front of the man, the gates of hell opened wide.

“Mmm…”
Was I too harsh?
No, I don’t think so. No matter how much courage it took, there are lines that can’t be forgiven just because of that. And unfortunately, Tace had clearly crossed that line. To a level that could no longer be called a mistake.
…But it was an undeniable fact that he had mustered up the courage, and I didn’t want to deny even that. The fact that ten minutes had passed since he left MissCode and no additional messages had come to me proved it.
So if, after being sued, he showed genuine remorse… I should tell Harum to ask for as much leniency as possible.
Of course completely forgiving him would be difficult, but if he truly reflected, he would probably accept and understand my decision as well.
“U-um, I’m sorry the broadcast atmosphere got so heavy…”
“Since no one else has come forward in the last ten minutes, I’ll end the confession session here…”
“I’m not really tired…”
“I’ve completely entrusted the lawsuit to the lawyer Harum introduced me to…. So the people who got sued won’t have any chance to meet me or anything like that…”
That aside, what should I call this feeling? Through this incident, it felt like my inner sense of closeness toward the Lene fans had gone up.
“…Thank you, everyone.”
“I-it’s not that…! Before I even wrote the post asking you to stop, you all set the mood first by telling them to take it easy, right…?”
Tyuni had said that. If it weren’t for fans like them, the Lema Gallery probably would have turned into complete chaos.
In other words, the reason I could continue the broadcast so calmly today was all thanks to the Lene fans.
“I’m really grateful for that…. You all were truly cool. Hehe…”
…So maybe it’s okay to have a little hope?
If, by any chance, my bizarre appearance ever became known, would it be alright to hold onto the hope that they wouldn’t leave me…?
…Is it not? Maybe it is not.
“I’m not. …Not yet.”
“Mmm…. So what should we do now…?”
I thought the confession session would last about three hours, but it ended much earlier than expected. …Is it a good thing that I don’t have to talk so much anymore?
Anyway, I couldn’t just end the stream right away, so I had to find something to do.
In that case, of course.
“…Should we play New Dimension?”
This is my thing.
