Power & Sex, and... 05
Jeong-ah, who had always been so aggressive about sex, had refused even when I was the one suggesting it first, and that couldn't just be because my status had changed from congressional secretary to assemblyman. Of course, she was undoubtedly worried about me getting caught in an affair and suffering the fallout.
But I had no intention of distancing myself from her or shying away from sex just because I was an assemblyman now. I'd already gotten permission from my wife Ara about my relationships with Jeong-ah and Eun-mi, so until they decided to leave me, I sure as hell wasn't going to abandon them first.
To figure out why Jeong-ah was refusing me, I decided to ask her straight up.
"Did you maybe try hooking up with your boyfriend one last time before you two broke up recently?"
"Yeah. He kept whining about it, so we went to a motel, but it hurt too much when he tried to put it in—I just couldn't."
"It hurt?"
"Yeah. Not sure if my pussy suddenly got tighter or if I wasn't wet enough, but it just hurt."
"Come to the office tomorrow saying you have personal business, then head up to Seoul the day after."
"Why?"
"Just come when I tell you to. I'll book your train ticket."
"It's a weekday—no way you're getting a ticket. I'll handle it myself."
"Fine, whatever."
With Jeong-ah agreeing to come to Seoul in two days, I headed out from Songjeong Beach, dropped her off, and went home. Forcing her into a hotel right now, especially when she was worried about prying eyes, would probably backfire spectacularly.
After parting with Jeong-ah, I got home, picked up my mother-in-law, and went to that dumpling shop where Ara and I had lunch for the first time instead—we had dinner there and headed back. As we sat sipping coffee at home, my mother-in-law started getting ready to go out.
"Mother-in-law, where are you headed?"
"Oh, a friend called earlier. I'm just stepping out for a bit."
"Hang on, let me drive you."
"No need. It's a five-minute walk—why bother with the car? You rest at home."
Once she left, Jeong-ah—no, Ara slid over beside me and slyly rested her hand on my thigh. The moment I felt her warm touch, blood rushed down there, and it started stiffening up hard.
"Looks like my honey really went full monk mode in Seoul, huh?"
"Who else was I gonna do it with when you weren't around?"
"Seoul's full of pretty girls."
"Quit messing around. You really want me to?"
"Well, if some hot girl hits on you, what can you do? Guys need to blow off steam now and then or they'll stress out, right?"
"What about you?"
"Nah. You're mine anyway, so whoever flirts, they're just wasting their time."
"Aigoo, lucky me—my wife's got such peace of mind."
"So, how long you gonna keep talking?"
"What do you want?"
"God, honey, you're so clueless. You really don't know why Mom left?"
"She said she was meeting a friend."
"Friend my ass. She's probably at the theater buying tickets right now."
"Why? Movies out of nowhere?"
"Aigoo, is my hubby really this dense? She left so we could do it."
That was it, exactly. Last night, I'd been dying to have Ara, but if we'd gone at it, her moans would've reached my mother-in-law's ears for sure. And for a woman who'd lived her whole life celibate, that would've been pure torture—so I hadn't even considered touching her. My mother-in-law must've picked up on it and made herself scarce.
Thanks to her consideration, I finally got to savor Ara's scent after so long, and I drained months of built-up gunk in one go. And it wasn't just me—Ara was moaning wildly, lost in our lovemaking, until I flooded her womb with hot spurts, making her whole body shudder.
I got up early at dawn, hurriedly packing my bag. Ara was bustling around with my mother-in-law, prepping breakfast in the wee hours. And so Tuesday morning began. After eating, I said goodbye to my mother-in-law, stopped by the family home in Yeonsan-dong on the way to the station to tell Mom I was heading to Seoul, then went to Busan Station.
In the Busan Station waiting room, Ara gazed at me with deep reluctance. With all the people around, I couldn't show too much affection, so I just gave her a light hug. Her eyes were misty.
"Honey, you'll come back this weekend, right?"
"Yeah, unless something comes up."
"Then let's go to Gyeongju this weekend."
"Sure. Take care, okay?"
"Yeah. Love you, honey."
"See you this weekend."
I parted with Ara at Busan Station and boarded the train to Seoul. It was a weekday dawn, so the car was empty. I buried my head against the seat and fell into a deep sleep.
Arriving at Seoul Station, I took the subway to the National Assembly, got off in front of it, and headed to the Members' Office Building.
"Assemblyman, welcome back—hope you had a good trip."
"Yeah. You have a good weekend? Anything happen yesterday?"
"No, sir. We're still in the early stages of committee formation, so things should stay quiet for a bit."
I called in Chief Aide Kim Sil-jang for a quick briefing, and my new week kicked off. For the time being, I'd spend weekends in Busan with family, Mondays at the district office with the local party staff, and save the real assemblyman duties for Tuesdays onward unless something urgent popped up.
After Kim Sil-jang left, I was scanning news articles on my computer when my personal phone rang.
"Yes, Park Maru speaking."
"Assemblyman, you up in Seoul?"
"Yes, Suji. You made it back safe? Good work."
"You should be thanking me."
"Of course."
"So, lunch on you today? I wanna date you—just the two of us."
Maybe it was her Gen Z vibe, but Suji was coming on strong. She was one of Busan's so-called idol stars, and I'd leaned on her hard for the campaign, so I couldn't turn her down. I agreed to pick her up at a coffee shop near her agency's office and headed to Gangnam.
Today she was in hot pants again, but to hide her identity, she had a brimmed hat and sunglasses on. True to idol form, her body was perfection. If I weren't an assemblyman, I'd be stealing glances—plump, perky tits and ass that just wouldn't quit.
"Can we go somewhere far?"
"Where to?"
"Outside Seoul, like the outskirts. Got time?"
"Sure, let's see. If I'm running late, they'll wait."
We ended up heading to Provence Village in Paju, the only place in Gyeonggi I'd been to as a country bumpkin from Busan. We ate lunch at that restaurant I'd gone to with Eun-mi before. Throughout the meal, Suji didn't say much, just smiled occasionally. After eating, we got back in the car, and suddenly she was looking at me with a heavy expression.
"Something wrong?"
"Yeah. Actually, I need to ask you a favor, Assemblyman."
"Go ahead. If I can help, of course I will."
"Somewhere quiet."
"Back to a coffee shop?"
"Not the kind of talk for a coffee shop."
"Then where?"
"No motel around?"
"A motel?"
"Pfft, what's wrong with that? Scared I'll seduce you?"
"No, but..."
"Then let's find a quiet motel. If someone overhears at a coffee shop, I'm done for."
She had a point. As a newbie assemblyman, I only had to watch out in Busan where fewer people might recognize me, but she was a top idol—tons of fans would spot her. Reluctantly, I drove her to that hotel in Paju. I got the key card at the front desk, texted her the room number, and headed up.
"Nice and clean."
"Yeah. Have a seat and tell me."
"Pfft, this'll take a while—sit on the bed comfy instead of that stiff chair."
"Sure, make yourself at home, Suji."
I took off my jacket, hung it up, pulled a chair over to the bed, and sat.
"Assemblyman, help me out."
"If there's any way I can, I will."
"The media hypes me as a star, but I'm basically on the scrap heap now."
"Scrap heap? What, like you're some product?"
"With all these rookies rising up, my career as a singer might as well be over."
A hotshot idol like her saying she was done for? I just stared at her mouth, dumbfounded.
"I don't follow the idol scene much these days."
"Anyway, that time the CEO dragged me to your office? Wasn't about sending me to perform for the troops—it was to use me to butter you up so you'd help. He figured a big shot like you would obviously know who I am."
"Use you how?"
"You really don't know, or are you playing innocent?"
"Yeah, really."
"Not pretending to be naive?"
"Why would I?"
"Anyway, will you be my sponsor?"
"Being an assemblyman doesn't exactly leave spare cash for sponsoring pop stars."
"Pfft, does a sponsor have to be loaded?"
"You need money to sponsor someone."
Out of nowhere, she was asking me to be her sugar daddy. My salary covered office ops thanks to National Assembly support, but even maintaining the district office was tight—her random request threw me for a loop.
