Chapter 70: The Beastkin Priestess
Chapter 70: The Beastkin Priestess
After we took down the Transcendent Species, the number of werewolves in the dungeon seemed to drop noticeably.
Whereas before, nine out of every ten monsters we ran into were werewolves, now we were starting to see the occasional orc.
So those werewolves must have been drawn here by that Transcendent Species.
Our party hunted werewolves and orcs in the area for a while longer, and as evening approached, we prepared to head back to town.
“D-Diana? When do I get to learn Levitation Magic?” Sara asked.
It seemed she was worried about me having to carry both Diana and Leia on the way up again.
Sara really is surprisingly considerate. Compared to how she acted when we first met, it’s like night and day.
“Hm? Levitation Magic, despite its appearance, is quite a high-level spell. You have a long way to go before you can learn it. But do not worry. This great mage has a mount she can ride at any time.”
Diana slapped my back with a thwack as if she were boasting.
A mount? Sure, I said she could get on my back anytime, but isn't that a bit much?
I gave Diana a light pat on her rear in return.
“Alright, stop chattering and get on. We need to get back quickly.”
“Heeek!”
My bad. I meant to touch her back, but I accidentally touched her butt.
Oops. And I accidentally did it with Saint's Touch active, too. Seriously, my bad.
“Diana? What’s wrong?”
“I-It is nothing.”
Diana desperately tried to act like nothing was wrong, but her trembling body sagged onto my back.
“You… you…!” she whispered menacingly in my ear as she got on, but I could feel a warm dampness where her private parts were pressed against me.
Huh? Diana’s level is pretty high now. She shouldn’t be reacting this strongly to a single Saint’s Touch, should she?
Don’t tell me her exhibitionist streak is acting up again.
“Hah, hah, hah.”
Diana’s hot breath tickled my ear. Moreover, she was subtly shifting her body, as if rubbing herself against my back.
“Hey, hey. It’s dangerous here. Wait until tonight.”
“Haah. W-What is? I am perfectly fine.”
Diana flinched, then put on a serious face and spoke.
Then what was that low moan just now?
In any case, my words seemed to have brought her back to her senses. Her breathing hadn't completely settled, but the subtle writhing of her hips had stopped.
However, she tightened her grip on my shoulders and fell silent.
Is she angry now that she’s come to her senses?
“Alright, Leia, you come here too.”
“Huh? But…”
“I’m fine. Besides, going up is harder, you know?”
I wasn’t just fine; I desperately wanted to carry Leia.
Just watching her chest ripple with every step would be enough to wash away all the fatigue from the day.
And so, on the way up, I once again carried Diana on my back and Leia in my arms.
Yep. These breasts are a treasure of mankind.
This time, Diana was quiet behind me, perhaps still angry, so I was free to gaze to my heart’s content at Leia’s bouncing chest as we passed through the secret passage.
“You guys go on ahead again today. I’ll settle our accounts and catch up.”
“Are you sure? Isn’t that what you said last time?”
“…S-Sara is right.”
Sara and Diana stared at me, their eyes narrowed with suspicion.
“Hey, even I wouldn’t make the same mistake two days in a row. I’ll come straight back, really.”
“Alright. In that case…”
“Oh, right. Leia, you come with me. We need to go find you a staff.”
“Okay.”
“I still don’t trust you. I’ll go with you too,” Sara said.
“…Hmph.”
It looked like everyone was coming back with me.
Ugh. They’re trying to be considerate, but I end up being suspected. It’s my own fault, I know, but it still makes me sad.
Tch! I like going with you guys more than settling the accounts alone anyway!
Since it was another day trip, settling up just involved turning in the parts from a few monsters we’d caught on our way through the secret passage.
After we were done, the party headed straight for Hanna’s blacksmith shop.
“Oh, you’re here. The item you requested is already finished.”
Hanna immediately brought out a staff from the workshop.
It was a short staff, about 50cm long.
Given the materials, I had been wondering what kind of bizarre thing would emerge, but it was surprisingly normal.
It was painted a pure white, and the tip was shaped like an angel’s wings spread open on either side.
Then my eyes drifted down to the handle and… of course!
For some reason, the pommel of the handle was finished in a shape reminiscent of the head of a penis.
What? Then does that mean the part where the wings are is made from the… testicles?
I decided to stop thinking about it.
“Wow!”
Leia, however, seemed completely unfazed by its shape. She let out a cry of admiration as she took the short staff, turning it over and over in her hands, looking delighted.
Well, I’m glad she seems to like it.
Ah, right. While I’m here, I might as well ask. This place seems to specialize in adventurer’s weapons, but they do work with iron.
“Hanna. Do you happen to have any grills?”
“A grill? You mean for cooking meat?”
“Yeah.”
“We don’t handle things like that. There’s another blacksmith a little ways from here that specializes in that stuff. Why don’t you check there?”
So it seems grills do exist here.
Great. Let’s buy a grill before we head back to the inn.
When I turned to tell the party, I noticed Diana staring intently at Leia.
Huh? What’s wrong?
I followed her gaze and saw it was fixed on the short staff Leia was clutching to her chest.
Come to think of it, Diana is the only one without a weapon. I just assumed she didn’t need one since she’s so good at using magic without any tools, but seeing her like this, it seems that’s not the case.
“Diana. How about you pick out a staff too?”
“H-Huh?”
Diana looked startled.
“You were staring at Leia’s weapon. Don’t you need one too? I’ll buy it for you as an apology for what happened earlier.”
I said it to appease Diana, who had been unusually quiet ever since I’d touched her with Saint’s Touch in the dungeon. Her face was still red, maybe because she hadn’t gotten over her anger.
I mean, she did strictly forbid that kind of thing in the dungeon. She had every right to be angry.
Maybe I took the joke too far.
“Ah, ahh! Y-Yes. I suppose so.”
Diana nodded exaggeratedly, then went and picked out a long wooden staff that was about as tall as she was.
There were some with jewels embedded in the tip, but she surprisingly brought back the simplest-looking one.
“Is that one okay?”
“Mm. It is sufficient.”
If the great Archmage says so, I guess I have no room to argue.
After I paid, Diana spoke with an uncharacteristically shy expression.
“Ahem. Hm. Th-Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it.”
If that’s all it takes to calm her down, I’d buy her one anytime.
Back at the inn, during dinner, I brought up the day’s battle.
“That holy magic was really amazing. Thanks, Leia.”
“No… that’s all I’m capable of.”
Leia blushed and spoke humbly, but I didn’t think that at all.
“No, you really saved us. It’s so reassuring to have a healer.”
If Leia hadn’t been there, I couldn’t say for sure what would have happened after being hit by the Transcendent Species’ skill. Even if the other monsters saw their comrade get slaughtered, they might have gotten a boost of courage seeing me bleed and charged in.
“No, you’re the one who’s reassuring, Guwon. You were so dependable.”
“I-I was?”
I grinned foolishly as Leia grabbed my hand with both of hers and hugged it.
“At this rate, we could probably take on the Layer Boss right now without any problems, right?”
“No, I think not,” Diana coolly refuted from right beside me.
Her face was still bright red.
“Leia’s level is still too low to challenge the Layer Boss. If we were to try now, her healing speed likely wouldn’t be able to keep up with the damage from the boss’s attacks. We still have a long way to go.”
“What? Even though she’s this amazing? You’re saying she can get even more amazing than this?”
“W-Well? Y-Yes, that is correct. Though she will never be as great as I am, of course!” Diana exclaimed, as if she couldn’t stand to lose to a fellow magic-user.
Well, obviously. You’re the Archmage.
I decided to praise Leia even more, just to tease Diana a little.
“Still, as someone on the front lines, a healer is the best. Leia, I’m counting on you from now on.”
“Yes. I’m still lacking in many ways, but I’ll do my best.”
“Grrrrrr!”
As expected, Diana looked somewhat vexed. Her face, already redder than usual, was now glaring at me. It seemed she hated losing to anyone when it came to magic, even if their fields were different.
…M-Maybe I should stop here. If I tease her too much, I’ll be scared of what happens tonight.
“Then should I go to the front lines too?! I-I can use a dagger!”
My comment was aimed at Diana, but it seemed Sara took some splash damage from me praising Leia too much. She seemed antsy as she made the suggestion.
“No. You’re more than helpful enough with just your bow, so it’s fine.”
It was a little lonely being the only one on the front line, but I couldn’t ask Sara to stand up front with me when she wasn’t used to it. It’s best for people to stick to what they know.
“I-Is that so…”
Sara looked somewhat disappointed.
Does she actually want to be on the front line?
I felt like I needed to put my foot down on this.
“I don’t want to see you get hurt on the front lines. Please, stick to a support role in the back if you can.”
“Y-Yes.”
Did my sincerity get through to her? Sara finally nodded with a small smile.
After our lively dinner, the night finally arrived.
It was a little late to be feeling it now, but I started to get pretty nervous.
I had promised to do everything Diana said today, but what on earth was she going to make me do?
If it were the usual Diana, I wouldn’t have much to worry about.
But today, it probably wouldn’t be the usual Diana.
Thinking back, I might have teased her a bit too much today. There was no way a single cheap staff would have been enough to make up for it.
Dammit. How do I get out of this crisis?
Ah, screw it. I’ll just go and figure it out there.
Knock, knock.
“Diana. It’s me.”
CREAK!
The moment I knocked, the door flew open with frightening force.
Whoa! What the—!
The figure revealed as the door opened was Diana, completely naked.
Without a single thought of covering her body, which didn’t have a thread on it, she quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me forcefully toward the bed.
“D-Diana?”
Ignoring my bewilderment, Diana pulled me to the bed and immediately lunged for my pants.
“Stay still.”
What the. Is it starting already? Should I just do as she says and stay still?
With hurried movements, Diana stripped off my pants, stared at my still-soft member, and cried out urgently.
“What is this! Why aren’t you hard?!”
Hey, you can’t just spring this on me. It’s not like I can keep it hard all the time.
“To not get hard even after seeing my body!”
As she spoke, Diana grabbed hold of my Dick.
No, it’s just that it was so sudden I haven’t had a chance to properly take in the view yet.
“Here, will this do it?!”
Diana started giving me a handjob, just like I had taught her before.
Yes. That is more than enough.
“Hyaaaang!”
The instant my Dick grew to its full size, Diana straddled me, sinking down until I was buried all the way inside her.
