Chapter 360: Guwon's Counterattack
Chapter 360: Guwon's Counterattack
“Ow, ow. Diana. That hurts. Stop hitting me.”
“Lies! You fool! Pervert!”
I flinched and took her light pummelling, but my reaction only seemed to fuel her anger.
Diana swung her arms even harder, then paused her assault to blow on her fists, which must have started to hurt.
See? That’s why I told her to stop.
“Ugh… The smell, as I thought…”
Diana muttered as she blew on her hands, then glared at me again.
Huh? What smell?
“And on top of that, you finished in my mouth! You even made me drink it! Do you truly find such things so pleasing?!”
“Yeah. Honestly, it was amazing. By the way, is that why you kept your mouth closed? Ow. That hurts, Diana.”
“What will you do about this smell! Huh?! Wha—Mmph.”
I kissed Diana as she teared up and continued to lightly hit me.
After our tongues tangled and saliva passed between our mouths, I pulled away.
“Now we’re the same, right? Is this better?”
I could have had her rinse her mouth with magic, but after going to the trouble of finishing in her mouth, it would be a shame to have her wash it out so mercilessly right away.
Think I’m a pervert? I am a pervert. I’ll say it again: what’s wrong with a man being a pervert!
“Th-That is not the issue…!”
Even as she said it, Diana tapped my chest weakly and lowered her head.
“It was supposed to be a special date…”
Ah, I see.
Of course, she was angry that I suddenly did something so lewd in a place like that, but maybe she was even more upset that our rare date alone was ending like this.
That… I feel a little bad about that. No, a lot.
“I’m so sorry! I was being thoughtless. But we still have plenty of time, so we can have a proper date starting now. First, should we go get something to eat again?”
“No need. I am full.”
“Huh? You’re full from that… Ah…”
“Wh-What are you thinking! It is not that!”
“Hey, I haven’t said anything yet.”
“In any case, it is not that!”
“Alright. I get it, you’re not full from my semen. Let’s hurry up and get back to our date.”
“Did I not say it was not that!”
Diana shouted, her face beet red, but she still followed me obediently.
It seemed that, one way or another, she still wanted to continue the date.
“Hmm. It is getting to be evening.”
Diana murmured wistfully, gazing at the setting sun.
We’ve been together all day, but is it still not enough for her?
“Should we stay out a little longer?”
The streets of this city don’t get very dark, even at night.
That’s because adventurers coming and going from the dungeon hardly distinguish between day and night.
While some shops are only open during the day, others are only open at night. There are even some that stay open 24/7.
Thanks to surprisingly advanced technology and the abundance of Magic Stones brought back by adventurers, these streets were even brighter and more vibrant at night than the world I came from.
So I made the suggestion to Diana, but she slowly shook her head.
“No. Let us return. No matter what, I cannot monopolize you to the point that the others do not even get to see your face.”
She’s just too damn nice.
Then again, tonight is also Diana's turn, so if we stayed out, I really wouldn't see any of the others and would just be stuck to her.
But Diana is going to the dungeon tomorrow.
“Are you sure? Are you satisfied? You won’t be able to see me for a few days starting tomorrow. You’re allowed to be a little more selfish, you know?”
“It is fine. After all, tonight… you will treat me your absolute best, will you not?”
“Of course! Absolutely!”
“Do not try to exert yourself in some strange new direction. Just treat me well in a normal fashion.”
Perhaps my energetic reply made her uneasy, as Diana spoke again as if to make me promise.
“Just trust me.”
“Is it not because you rarely act in a trustworthy manner?”
Well, true. My conscience wouldn’t let me deny that.
In any case, since that was what Diana wanted, we decided to head back to the mansion.
“Oh my. Guwon-ssi? Diana-ssi?”
And just as we were about to head toward the mansion, we heard an angelic voice call our names.
I didn’t even need to look to know who it was.
“Leia! Are you on your way back, too?”
“Hehe. Yes. What a coincidence, meeting you here.”
Leia smiled brightly and naturally came to my side, linking her arm with mine.
A soft, supple sensation enveloped my arm.
“What brings you two to the shopping district?”
“Ah, we came to get our gear waterproofed and decided to look around a bit while we were at it. Right, Diana?”
I looked at Diana as I spoke, but she didn’t answer.
“Diana?”
Was she angry that our date was interrupted, even though we were on our way back?
I thought so and peeked at her face, but Diana’s expression, hidden inside her hood, wasn’t one of anger.
Instead, she looked anxious, her eyes trembling slightly as she kept her lips pressed tightly together.
“Diana? What’s wrong?”
“Guwon-ssi. Did you perhaps do something wrong to Diana-ssi?”
Gah. Why is that always the first question?
For even an angel like her to think that… It’s probably karma for my usual behavior, but it still dealt a surprising amount of damage to my fragile heart.
“N-No! I didn’t do anything wrong this time!”
“Really?”
But Leia brought her face closer to mine with a playful expression, as if she had an inkling of what was going on.
And I could see her cute little nose twitching adorably.
Huh? Could it be? Ah! So that’s why Diana…!
“O-Of course! It’s the truth!”
I said, hastily turning my head away from Leia.
This was bad. I never did rinse out my mouth after… that.
A lot of time has passed, but surely the smell isn’t still there, right?
Since it was Leia, with her keen sense of smell, I suddenly started to get nervous.
My brilliant Diana must have realized it the moment she saw Leia and clammed up.
“Hehe. Is that so?”
Leia giggled, looking amused.
But she didn’t seem to want to press the issue further, and simply started walking, pulling on my arm.
Ah, did she not notice? Or is she just pretending not to?
“May I look forward to tomorrow as well?”
As if answering my question, Leia leaned in and whispered quietly in my ear, for only me to hear.
She knew after all! Just like the angel she is, she didn’t seem intent on being jealous or teasing me, but getting caught like this was still embarrassing.
“O-Of course…”
“Hehe.”
Gah. That lovely smile is the very picture of an angel, but right now, I can’t bring myself to look her straight in the face.
She probably didn’t hear our angel’s voice, but Diana started secretly pinching my side, attacking me so Leia wouldn’t notice.
I apologized profusely to Diana with my eyes as I walked back to the mansion, a beautiful woman on each arm.
“Well then, Guwon-ssi. I’m going to go change.”
After we returned to the mansion, Leia said that and went to her room.
And as soon as Leia was out of sight, Diana immediately resumed her pat-pat assault.
“What are you going to do! That reaction! That was clearly the reaction of someone who noticed!”
“I-It’s fine. I’ve done that much with Leia, too.”
“Are you offering that as an excuse! That! Is not! The issue!”
Dammit. I’d managed to smooth things over and we even had a fun date. To think such a variable would pop up at the very end.
No. It wasn’t like it was our angel’s fault. In fact, she knew and didn’t let on to Diana at all. But there was no way my brilliant Diana wouldn’t realize that Leia had noticed from her reaction.
“C-Calm down. Let’s just eat. The smell in your mouth will go away once you eat.”
“So it does smell?! Hic…”
Hey. You’re old enough to know better, are you really going to cry just because you’re a little embarrassed?
“N-No! That’s not what I meant! You only smell wonderful, Diana!”
I had no choice but to desperately console Diana, who had stopped her light pummelling and looked like she was about to die of embarrassment.
As a result of my desperate consoling, Diana finally calmed down enough to come down for dinner.
Though she was still too embarrassed to make proper eye contact with Leia.
“Huh? Come to think of it, where’s Silvia?”
Everyone had come down for the meal, but Silvia was nowhere to be seen.
Usually, she’s busy stalking me and arrives at the same time, and on days when she can’t stalk me because we’re apart, she’s the first one to the dining room.
“I have not seen her emerge since this morning. I assumed she was still sleeping and did not call for her, but shall I go fetch her?”
Vanessa, standing expressionlessly behind Diana, answered my question.
Come to think of it, she seems to know everything that goes on inside this mansion.
Yesterday, when I used Stealth, she came straight for me.
The timing was too perfect for her to have just been passing by.
Don’t tell me she has something like security cameras installed in the hallways and is watching us all the time?
“No. That’s not necessary. I’ll go get her myself.”
Since this morning… she must mean since I made her pass out.
I doubt she’s still unconscious, but…
Feeling a bit responsible, I went to get Silvia myself.
“Silvia.”
I knocked on the door and called her name, but there was no answer from inside.
I opened the door a crack and peeked inside to see Silvia sleeping soundly in her bed.
She hasn’t really been passed out since this morning, has she?
How is she going to manage if a single surprise kiss on the cheek knocks her out for this long?
“Hey. Silvia. Hey. Wake up.”
I walked over to the bed and gently shook her.
“Nngh… Eh?!”
Silvia slowly opened her eyes, and upon seeing my face, she shot up in a hurry.
“Ah, ahh… Wh-Why is Guwon-nim here… and it’s night… Hah! A dream?!”
Silvia looked around, confirmed she was in her room, then looked back at my face and fell into a panic.
She then glanced out the window, saw that the sun was setting, and seemed to fall even deeper into panic… until she suddenly shouted as if she’d realized something.
Seeing that, I was sure of at least one thing.
This was about to get interesting.
“Hah. Silvia, what are you talking about? It’s your turn tonight.”
I deliberately murmured in a soft voice, gently cupping the back of her head.
I expected her to start vibrating, but contrary to my expectations, Silvia didn’t tremble.
“Guwon-ni… Guwon-ssi…”
Instead, she gazed at my face with an ecstatic expression, murmured my name, and slowly tried to press her lips to mine.
Th-This girl… she thinks it’s a dream, so she’s gotten bold.
It’s like an adolescent boy trying to do something in a dream that he could never do in real life.
But sorry. Even so, a kiss is still a little…
I think the others would be okay with me kissing Silvia, and of course I want to, but doing it like this didn’t feel right.
Besides, if I kissed her now and then revealed this was reality, she’d just pass out again, wouldn’t she?
“Silvia.”
So I murmured her name, giving her a look that said she was unbearably lovely.
“Yes, Guwon-ssi…”
“This isn’t a dream.”
“……Hyeh?!”
A long silence followed, as if she didn’t understand what I’d said, and then Silvia’s body began to tremble violently.
“Aaaah… I, I, I… what have I done… th-that’s not it… um… uwaah… aaah…”
Silvia’s face turned redder than I thought possible, and then, as if a fuse had blown, she went limp in my arms and collapsed again.
So she passes out in the end even if I don’t kiss her, huh.
With no other choice, I had to return to the dining room alone.
“Guwon? Didn’t you say you were going to get Silvia?”
“Ah, yeah. She was still sleeping. So I just let her be.”
“For this long? Sleeping too much is not good for one’s health.”
“I know, right? Maybe the dungeon trip was harder on her than we thought? Haha.”
Silvia. I’m sorry.
