Chapter 336: Guwon's Counterattack
Chapter 336: Guwon's Counterattack
I approached Diana, who was still unconscious, took off my clothes again, and inserted myself inside her.
I’d been worried she might have dried up in the meantime, but thankfully, she was still wet enough for me to enter smoothly.
It just went to show how much fluid she’d produced earlier in the throes of pleasure.
“Mmm…”
Fortunately, Diana didn’t wake up in the middle of it, and I was able to complete the insertion without any trouble.
Just like before, I held Diana in my arms, leaning back against the bed in a half-lying position, and let out a sigh of relief.
“Mmm… Y-You…?”
Not long after, Diana came to her senses and called my name, her voice dazed.
“Aigoo. You're finally awake?”
I chuckled as if to say she was hopeless, gently pinching and wiggling her cheek. Diana rubbed the pinched cheek against my chest as if telling me to stop.
“I was… that is… Nngh! S-Sara? Where is she?”
She furrowed her brow for a moment, as if trying to remember why she was in this position, then suddenly blushed and quickly looked around.
“Huh? What are you talking about all of a sudden? Sara?”
Of course, I stuck to the plan and played dumb.
It was time for what I called "Operation: Sara Was Never Here."
The story would be that Diana had simply fainted from the sheer pleasure of being with me.
“Didn't a drunk Sara come in here earlier?”
“That never happened.”
“Hmm? What do you mean? Didn't Sara come in, throw a tantrum about wanting a turn, and then insist on waiting until I was finished?”
Surprisingly, she remembered everything perfectly.
I thought she’d been half out of her mind with pleasure from the midway point.
As expected of the great Archmage.
“What are you talking about? I told you, that didn't happen. Don't tell me you actually started seeing the things I was describing?”
“Hmm? The things you were describing?”
“Yeah. I was teasing you, asking what you'd do if one of the other girls suddenly burst in. I told you to imagine it. You got so worked up just from the fantasy that you ended up fainting. Don't you remember?”
“W-What is the meaning of this! And besides, the idea that I would get so excited I'd faint from a mere fantasy is simply impossible!”
“Aww, there she goes again. Just admit it already, you cute little exhibitionist.”
“I told you, that's not what it was.”
“Then why did you faint earlier?”
“B-Because Sara!”
“Right. So you thought you saw Sara come in? And how does that connect to you getting so excited you fainted?”
“Th-That is… N-Nngh…! In any case, it wasn't like that!”
Diana suddenly started patting my chest with light thumps.
“Ow. Sorry, sorry. I get it. I won't tease you anymore. I was just messing with you because you're so cute.”
I pretended it hurt, pulling Diana into a hug and patting her on the back.
“It wasn't like that…”
“Okay. I get it. I was mistaken. You were just so happy to be with me that you couldn't handle it, right?”
“Th-That's right. Honestly, you men…”
Even while held tightly in my arms, Diana weakly patted my side a few more times before finally hugging me back with all her strength.
Seeing her reaction, I grinned triumphantly.
Perfect! Absolutely perfect!
I broke into a bit of a cold sweat when Diana remembered things more clearly than I expected, but I'd somehow managed to distract her.
“But Sara really did…”
“Still on about that?”
“Aahn! W-Wait, suddenly—nngh! Don't move!”
“I'll make you feel so good you'll start seeing strange hallucinations again.”
“Th-That's not…! Nngh!”
Completely contrary to my original plan of letting Diana win, I ended up spending the night tormenting her so thoroughly she couldn't think straight.
*
“Haaahm… We have to explore the dungeon again today, and I didn't even get any proper sleep.”
The next morning, Diana spoke while giving my chest a light slap.
“It's your fault for being too cute. I did nothing wrong.”
“Honestly, the things you say…”
Despite her words, she didn't seem to mind, as she didn't say anything more.
Well, thanks to Healing Sex, this much was no problem for us anyway.
“Well then, I’m going to wash up.”
In the end, I'd managed to almost perfectly smooth over Sara's intrusion last night, but one obstacle remained.
The door that Sara had broken.
It looked fine on the surface, but the moment someone touched the handle, they'd know it was broken.
So, I absolutely could not let Diana touch the handle.
Which meant there was only one thing for me to do.
“Diana! Let's wash up together!”
“After all that, you still have that much energy left?!”
Diana exclaimed, her expression one of slight exasperation.
Don't be like that. I only came in because it's dangerous if we don't wash up and leave at the same time. Who do you think I am, someone who came in here for another round?
…Well, we did end up having another round, but still.
“Honestly, you…”
“Haha. Sorry, sorry. A bathing Diana is just too beautiful to resist. Well then, my lady. After you.”
As I spoke, I opened the door for her in one smooth motion before she could.
“Mm.”
Pleased, Diana stood on her tiptoes, reached out to pat my head once, and then left the room.
Phew. That's perfect. Now all I have to do is secretly give the innkeeper some money for the repairs before we leave.
When I went down to the dining hall, the priestess duo of Leia and Matilda, along with Silvia, were already there.
What's Matilda thinking, coming down to the dining hall without me? What if some guy tries to hit on her?
Well, it looked like she was fine for now.
In the first place, there are bound to be fewer male adventurers on the 3rd floor than on the upper floors, and any man strong enough to get here probably doesn't need to waste his effort trying to pick up women in a place like this.
“You were all down here already.”
“Ah, Guwon-ssi. Did you sleep well?” “Good morning.” “G-Good morninggggg!”
Since she was stuttering first thing in the morning, I placed a hand on her head and patted it to calm her down, which sent Silvia into vibration mode.
“Yeah. Hasn't Sara come down yet?”
“No. She’s a little late today.”
Leia said, as if she found it genuinely strange for Sara to be late.
“Ahh… She was drunk last night. She might be hungover. I'll go check on her real quick.”
Besides, I still had the key to Sara's room.
I said it casually and headed for Sara's room.
“Coming in.”
Then, without knocking, I used the key to open the door and entered Sara's room.
“What are you doing?”
As expected, Sara was already awake.
She was lying face down on the bed with her face buried in a pillow, but her hair was damp, so it looked like she'd already washed up.
Sara's back flinched with every step I took toward her, but she didn't say a word.
Of course she'd be embarrassed. If it were me, I'd be kicking my blankets until either the bed or my legs broke.
“Hey. I know you're not asleep, so answer me.”
I pulled back the covers and gave her butt a light slap.
Mm. Nice and firm.
“Hyaang!”
Sara let out a cute moan and lifted her head for a moment, but quickly buried her face in the pillow again.
It seemed the mental damage was greater than I thought—no, it was just as great as I'd expected.
No choice. I'd have to resort to my final weapon.
“Hwaaang! Guwooon! As long as I have Guwon, I don't need anything elseeee!” “Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
As expected, the effect was tremendous.
The moment I mimicked one of Sara's embarrassing lines from last night, she shot up with a scream, grabbed a pillow, and tried to smother my mouth with it.
Well, she'd remembered everything she did the last time she got drunk, too.
I figured she'd remember this time as well.
“Forget it! Forget it! Forget it right now!”
Her face flushed beet red, Sara started hitting me over and over, but her bare-handed attacks weren't strong enough to break through my defense.
“Guwooon! I love youuuu! I wanna be in your arms tooooo!”
“I-I didn't sound that weird, did I?!”
“True, your voice was cuter than mine. I didn't know you could make a sound like that. Why don't you try saying it again like last night? Guwooooon!”
“Hwaaang! I just want to die!”
“Hey, don't say things like that. Who gave you permission to kill what's mine?”
“And whose fault is that?!”
Sara didn't deny that she was mine, just punched me in the stomach as she yelled.
“Whose fault? It's Sara's fault for drinking again after what happened last time.”
“Uuuuuugh…!”
Unable to argue, Sara could only glare at me resentfully.
But her glare lacked its usual intensity when she was angry; she just looked cute.
“Anyway, that's enough. Come on down. I've already smoothed things over with Diana, so don't give anything away.”
“…Smoothed things over? How?”
It seemed part of the reason she hadn't come down was because she couldn't face Diana. Sara's eyes were filled with anxiety.
“Simple. When she woke up and asked where you were, I told her she must have been hallucinating.”
“And Diana just fell for that?”
“Well, it doesn't seem like she completely fell for it, but I managed to gloss it over.”
Mostly by using physical conversation.
“Anyway, hurry up and come down. Everyone else is waiting for you.”
“Ugh…”
Her mental damage not yet fully healed, Sara still listened to me and reluctantly got to her feet.
“G-Guwon…”
Seeing her get up, I turned to leave the room, but Sara tugged on my sleeve from behind.
“Hm?”
“Sorry…”
“Eh, it's fine. I got to see cute Sara for the first time in a while.”
“Ugh… So please just forget about it…”
“Nope. I'm never going to forget. I'll remember it for the rest of my life. Guwooooooon!”
“Eeeek!”
Sara looked like she was about to cry, but she only gave my back a light slap and couldn't say anything more.
Khahaha. So this is how good a one-sided trade of blows feels.
Well, if I tease her too much, she'll get seriously pissed, so I should probably keep it in moderation.
Anyway, with Sara in tow, I was able to head back down to the dining hall.
Thankfully, it seemed no scoundrels had tried to hit on Matilda in my absence; the four of them had food spread out on the table.
“You're here. I went ahead and ordered meals for you and Sara-ssi.”
“Oh. Thanks.”
“Sara-ssi, is your hangover okay?”
“Y-Yes? Yes! I'm fine.”
“H-Hmph. Th-That's good to hear.”
Perhaps remembering last night's events, Sara and Diana couldn't even make proper eye contact.
But setting Sara aside, for Diana to be embarrassed too…
Was my hallucination excuse too flimsy after all?
But Diana hadn't said anything yet, so if I played my cards right, we might just get past this…
“Ngh… Guwon. I'm sorry…”
But Sara suddenly muttered those words, then bowed a full ninety degrees to Diana.
“Diana! I'm so sorry about last night!”
Her actions were so sudden that I could only stare blankly, unable to stop her.
Dammit. Did her guilt intensify after seeing Diana in person?
Honesty is a virtue, but you don't have to be virtuous at a time like this!
Seeing Sara, Diana didn't ask what she was sorry for.
Instead, she began to shoot me a glare that seemed to say, ‘So that’s how it was.’
“A hallucination?”
“I-I'm… I'm sorry!”
I had no choice but to bow ninety degrees right alongside Sara.
“Haaah. Last night was entirely Sara's fault, was it not? Why did you try to cover for her?”
“W-Well, you see. The thing is, I was trying to knock Sara out, and…”
“Are you saying you did it?”
“I'm sorry! But I only did it once! After you fainted, I immediately took Sara…”
I was caught. Nothing to be done.
I desperately tried to make excuses.
