Dear readers,
When I first started serializing this novel, I had a simple, carefree wish—I just wanted to write something fun for myself.
But as the chapters piled up and the story grew, as I watched you reading along with me, a sense of responsibility gradually took hold.
I researched historical details, looked up all sorts of things, and poured myself into crafting a better story.
I know the early chapters had plenty of rough edges—spacing, line breaks, spelling, dialogue formatting, and so on.
Because of that, I know some of you set the story aside, unable to push past the discomfort.
Still, to those of you who stayed with this long tale of over three hundred chapters all the way to the end—thank you. Truly. From the bottom of my heart.
It was your readership, your presence at the finish line, that gave me the strength to keep going.
I am also deeply grateful to everyone who left a comment, everyone who sent a sponsorship, and everyone who hit that recommendation button. My thoughts are all scattered right now because I am so overwhelmed...

At any rate, this long journey has reached its end. But the most important thing is my gratitude. I wanted to convey my sincere thanks to all of you who stayed with writing that was barely above amateur level until the very last page.
I learned and grew so much through this work, and I truly believe that because of that, I can create something even better next time.
I will come back to you soon with a new work that shows how much I have improved.
As for my next project... rather than a dark apocalypse like this one, it will feature a refreshing protagonist. A streaming-genre story? With a touch of fantasy mixed in? That sort of feel.
Actually... I do already have a few chapters saved up, but I am polishing them now, haha...
