Let's Shower Together
Let's shower together. Inside the narrow studio bathroom that felt like a secret room, two people—a man and a woman—pressed their bodies together as they soaked under the warm water.
After we finished having sex, I used the Clean skill to erase every last trace. Still, at my strong insistence, we agreed to wash each other and stepped into the bathroom together.
All physical traces and fluids have been completely erased.
“You really are a pervert, you know that?”
“It’s a man’s romance.”
The bathroom was already cramped for one person. With two of us inside, we had no choice but to stay glued together. We shared the single stream of water from the shower hose and washed each other.
Park Nayoung grumbled with her mouth that she hated it, but she didn’t seem all that unwilling. She personally lathered my hair with shampoo and conditioner. A different kind of joy from sex wrapped around my body. The shampoo scent that used to cling to her was now coming from me too. We touched each other’s hair and felt a quiet, simple happiness.
“You really do love breasts, don’t you?”
Even now, my hands were unconsciously kneading her chest. With those firm, bare breasts right in front of me, not touching them would mean I wasn’t a man. Instead of stopping my hands, she placed hers on my chest and abs as if refusing to lose.
Smooth, perfectly sculpted muscles with zero fat. The moment her fingers brushed over them, I instinctively flexed my abs. The already sharp lines tightened even more, revealing a six-pack more rugged than a washboard.
“Wow, a person’s abs can actually look like a work of art.”
Park Nayoung let out a sigh of admiration and kneaded my rock-hard abs like they belonged to her. It was a fun time where we both enjoyed touching the parts of each other’s bodies we liked.
I wanted to savor it more leisurely, but Park Nayoung hurried me along.
“We don’t know when Naeun might come back. I’ll do it for you next time, so let’s get out now.”
“Got it.”
We cooled off the lingering heat and dried each other’s bodies with towels. As we were about to get dressed and leave, Park Nayoung spoke up.
“What happened today is an absolute secret from Naeun.”
“Why?”
“That girl has such a big mouth. Mom’s already nagging me about when we’re getting married these days. If she finds out we did something like this, she’ll try to set the wedding date immediately, you know?”
I did like Park Nayoung, but I wasn’t ready to get married yet, so I decided to follow her wishes.
As I left Park Nayoung’s room and headed back to mine, a girl who looked like a yellow baby chick came running toward me, waving her hand frantically.
“Hyunjin oppa!”
It was Park Naeun, Park Nayoung’s younger sister. She must have been sitting in the coffee shop right in front of the studio and rushed out the moment she saw me leave.
The instant she saw me, Park Naeun stared intently for a moment, then flashed a meaningful smile.
“What were you and unnie doing alone together?”
She threw a fastball question right from the start. I tried to hide my flustered expression and answered as casually as possible, playing dumb.
“What do you mean, what? I just apologized and talked with her for a bit before coming out.”
“Hmm.”
Hearing my answer, Park Naeun circled around me like a police dog and started sniffing.
“Sniff, sniff. This smell! It’s the smell of someone lying.”
What the hell is the smell of lying supposed to be? As if answering my internal question, she pointed at my head like the detective in a mystery novel who had found the decisive clue.
“Oppa, you smell like unnie’s shampoo. What exactly did you do in such a short time that your hair ended up smelling like unnie’s shampoo?”
“That’s…”
I never imagined the shampoo scent would become evidence, so I hesitated. Before I could finish, she declared triumphantly.
“I’m old enough to know everything now!”
Not even ten minutes after being told it was an absolute secret, I’d been caught. I realized no excuse would work anymore and finally gave up trying.
“Is there anything you want to eat?”
“They say this place is a famous restaurant near Gukhan University.”
It was a pasta restaurant located near campus. A current student like me had never heard of it, yet Park Naeun—who hadn’t even officially enrolled yet—was introducing it as one of the university’s best spots.
The décor was subtle without being overdone, and soft music played quietly. It was the kind of place women tended to visit more than men.
“The atmosphere’s nice, it’s super cheap, and the food’s delicious, apparently. You should come here with unnie later. Oh, but knowing unnie, she probably wouldn’t like a place like this?”
Her sly grin made it look like she knew everything I’d done. I tried to ignore Park Naeun’s subtle pressure and pretended to admire the restaurant’s interior, turning my head slightly.
“Oh, right. That’s not why I was waiting for you, oppa. Can I really accept this laptop? No matter how I look at it, it seems way too expensive.”
“I bought it for Nayoung. If she says to give it to you, then use it. Consider it an admission gift.”
“Really? Hehe, thank you! Since I got an admission gift, I’ll believe that nothing happened this time.”
Along with her thanks, Park Naeun offered to buy the pasta, but since I was treating her as an admission gift anyway, I insisted on paying. She wasn’t lying about it being cheap—the two pastas with strange names, plus salad and lemonade, came to less than twenty thousand won. When I thought about how other girls usually expected at least fifty thousand won if a senior was buying, the pasta Naeun asked for was only slightly more expensive than cafeteria food.
When our order arrived, she lifted her smartphone instead of a fork.
“Oppa, just a second!”
She pulled the beautifully plated pasta toward her, shifting it around and taking pictures from every angle. It seemed like the photo was more important than eating, because she kept pressing the shutter without stopping.
“Shall we eat now?”
“Just one more shot.”
Claiming it was the last one, Park Naeun came over and sat right next to me. The petite girl who looked like a yellow chick scooted so close our shoulders touched, then raised her phone to capture a two-shot of the two of us instead of the pasta.
“I’ll take a picture of you, oppa.”
“What? Hey, wait a sec…”
“One, two, cheese!”
The sudden two-shot resulted in an awkward photo where I was neither smiling nor making a proper expression.
“What are you going to do with a picture of me?”
“Taking pictures is what remains. You have to take these kinds of photos often so you don’t have regrets later.”
Once she was done taking pictures, she finally picked up her fork. While eating a bite of pasta, Park Naeun handed me her smartphone. On the screen was a girl with an expressionless face who looked like a celebrity.
“Oppa, isn’t this girl super pretty?”
“Yeah, she is. Is she a newly debuted celebrity?”
“Hehe, who knows~”
She swiped to the next photo. This one showed Park Naeun together with the beautiful girl. It wasn’t just one or two shots—there were several. I hadn’t noticed at first, but looking at the rest, I could tell exactly where they were taken. They were all photos with the background of our department’s lecture rooms and buildings.
Only then did I realize the person in the photos wasn’t a celebrity but a new freshman in our department.
“I went to the university OT for the first time yesterday, and this really pretty girl sat next to me. We decided to hang out together during Saeteo too.”
OT varied by department, but in ours it meant gathering the freshmen to explain university life and help them create their class schedules. Saeteo was short for “freshman learning camp”—an overnight trip where new students, current students, and professors stayed together to build friendships.
Since I wasn’t a returning student and didn’t pay much attention to department activities, I had completely forgotten such events existed. I looked at the girl in the photo again. Even though it was taken with a smartphone and probably had some filters, her appearance still far surpassed that of an ordinary person. She wore plain casual clothes with no luxury brands, yet she gave off the elegant, refined aura of a chaebol family’s youngest daughter. Aside from her expressionless vibe that made people hesitant to approach, she was pretty enough to rival any idol.
“What do you think, oppa? She’s really pretty, right?”
Even though she had only met the girl yesterday, Park Naeun boasted about her like they were ten-year friends. After she finished showing off, she also showed me photos of the other freshmen. But none had the same impact as that girl. Most still looked like they hadn’t quite left high school behind, and I wasn’t interested in the guys’ pictures anyway.
As I looked through the photos one by one, I thought to myself, That kid really is something else.
Thanks to her small, cute appearance, she seemed to make friends easily with both freshmen and current students. At this rate, she might end up knowing more people in the department than I did within a month. If you ignored her mischievous personality and the fact that her chest was as flat as her back, she seemed like she could be just as popular with guys as her sister.
While eating her pasta, Park Naeun kept talking about university life. She said she was excited about it and asked me for tips on department activities and how classes worked. I explained what I could and we chatted pleasantly. She was the perfect picture of a bright-eyed freshman dreaming of campus romance.
“Now that I think about it, there’s just one thing I’m not happy about.”
“What is it?”
“That I can’t live on my own. Dorm life might not be bad, but for a college student, it has to be independent living!”
People who have experienced living alone often want to move into cheap dorms that provide meals. But this little yellow chick who had just left her mother’s nest seemed more interested in living freely by herself than dealing with the stuffy dorm environment.
“Can’t I just live in unnie’s room?”
“Then what about Nayoung?”
“She can live with you in your room, oppa. Wouldn’t that make all three of us happy?”
Is this kid a genius or what?
