#28. The Color Demon (3).
Exactly at the center of the island.
A dragon’s roar echoed from the direction where a shop was surely located.
And the system message popped up: “Pluto’s Slave”.
“This is turning into a fucking kingly god game…”
It felt too artificial, the timing way too perfect.
“Elena, put on some clothes.”
“W-What?!?!”
Elena looked flustered.
Was asking her to dress so out of the blue?
Elena stared at the gel I was holding, muttering to herself.
“You weren’t… doing that?”
“No time for that. Bring Elysha and come with me. Hurry.”
Unexpectedly, Elena left the small wooden hut with a face full of disappointment.
She emerged wearing a plain blouse and leather pants, Elysha in tow.
“Oh…”
Elysha had ditched the elf traditional outfit too and was dressed normally now.
A bright yellow shirt, jeans, and even a sunflower pin stuck in her hair.
I smirked and asked, “Yoo Dahui picked this out for you?”
“Yeah, she did.”
“What happened? You’re wearing clothes like that too?”
“Just… I don’t want to play the princess anymore. This is way more fun.”
Elena’s eyes were bloodshot as if she’d been sucking on something, her mood clearly changed.
Regression would erase the change, but since I’d triggered it, it would adjust on its own. Better to know beforehand than not.
I stepped closer to Elysha and whispered, “You mean… getting women?”
“How… how did you know that…?”
Elysha glared at me with narrowed eyes, a mix of disgust and contempt.
“You’re as obvious as ever.”
“…”
“If my mom finds out I’m chatting casually with a black magician like you, how heartbroken do you think she’ll be?”
“Ask me later.”
“I don’t want to. And stop pretending to be friends. I still smell the disgusting scent from you.”
Elysha pretended to pinch her nose.
“…”
“If you listen to me, I’ll help you get Dahui.”
“What?”
“If you obey me, I’ll make sure you get to fuck Yoo Dahui.”
I had every intention of helping someday, but not this round.
The effect was instant.
Elysha’s eyes widened.
The hateful glare turned into genuine interest.
“For real…?”
“Yeah.”
“Dahui is my woman. So why…?”
“I don’t care who you fuck.”
Sex ultimately ends in pregnancy.
Watching relationships between women without semen, I felt zero jealousy.
I was just as hard.
What would Yoo Dahui’s face look like when Elysha took her?
“Why the hell are you so hard?!”
“Hard? You’re exaggerating.”
“Sorry, sorry!”
I pulled clothes from my inventory and dressed.
Normal attire, gear loaded, I headed toward the island’s center.
Elena approached me.
“What were you talking about with the princess earlier?”
“Personal stuff?”
“The princess talking to someone like you?”
Elena poked me in disbelief.
“Tell me the truth.”
“It’s too personal. Ask Elysha directly.”
“Ugh…”
Elena shot a look at Elysha following behind.
After our earlier encounter, the awkwardness between them was thick.
“I can’t. It’s impossible. I can’t even speak to the princess… women… doing that…”
“Wasn’t it good?”
“It wasn’t good! I didn’t feel anything with my princess, the one I serve!”
“Ah, ouch.”
Elena pinched my forearm.
She shot me a glare over her shoulder, warning me to be careful.
The pinch was just the right amount.
I was left speechless.
“You’ve already been ruined, so why act innocent…?”
“What?! What did you just say?!”
I ignored her and kept walking.
It felt like hiking.
Nearer.
The closer I got, the thicker the invisible string felt.
Pluto’s slave.
I was curious to see who the friend was.
Please don’t be some dickhead!
I liked women.
I trusted Pluto.
“Huff! Huff!”
From far away, a player leaped on one leg toward us.
One leg looked like it had been chewed off and was ragged.
“Help! S-Someone! Help me!”
It was an orc.
The orc approached us with heavy breaths.
“Potion! If you have a potion, give me one! I’ll definitely repay you!”
I obediently handed over a potion.
The orc accepted it and burst into tears.
“Thank you, thank you…”
He popped the lid and poured it on the wound.
At the same time, the torn leg regenerated with a loud crack.
One potion wasn’t enough to heal fully, but at least he wouldn’t die right away.
“I gave you a potion, so let me tell you something. Don’t go that way. You’ll die for sure in this human body.”
“Why?”
“A dragon! A white dragon is going berserk!”
The orc trembled while recounting the tragedy.
“It said it would attack together. Then the thing suddenly started going crazy. I might not remember details. Anyway, it’s a war now, so it’s dangerous.”
“The dragon roar earlier?”
“Yeah. After that, it kills indiscriminately. If I go any higher, I can’t avoid the dragon. I survived because it’s the Tower of Struggle. Otherwise, I’d all be dead.”
“Hmm…”
It seemed correct that Isilia pushed away Wang Gohan.
But this wasn’t the type that rampaged everywhere attacking indiscriminately.
Isilia always kept her cold, sharp personality.
She only bared her claws when something was taken from her, and even then, not like this.
This is weird…
I asked the orc, “Do you know why it’s acting like this?”
“What would knowing it change? It’s just that dragons are crazy. Ah.”
The orc clapped his hands as if recalling something.
“It said a guy named Pluto was coming.”
“Pluto?”
Elena asked in surprise at the orc’s words.
“The dragon said it was Pluto?”
“Yeah. It said Pluto. I heard it clearly. I was chasing the thing from behind. That’s why my leg got blown off.”
Elena shot me a glare.
I just shrugged.
KRRAAAAAARRR-!
Far away, the dragon flapped its wings.
Filled with anticipation, I asked the orc, “Because you’re afraid of meeting Pluto, you’re panicking like this?”
“No. It said it would kill Pluto.”
“…”
It couldn’t be killed…
Pluto’s Slave meant a bond formed through the Submission Oath.
If the oath was active, I couldn’t be killed.
But the dragon’s head flying toward us was clearly aiming this way.
“Help! A dragon is coming! Run!”
The one-legged orc leaped wildly on its stump.
Watching it run, I felt a chill.
It wasn’t even my fault.
KRRAAAAAARRR-!
The dragon flew toward us, jaws wide open.
White dragon breath.
“Princess, behind me.”
Elena stepped forward.
In an original dimension, Elena would have frozen, but here, on the Tower of Struggle, higher stats meant strength.
WHAM!
Elena blocked the white dragon’s breath with a single sword.
Everything it touched froze.
It had to be attached.
Normally, the narrow ground where we stood would be the only part not white, but everything around would be covered in frost.
Crackle…
Transparent ice fragments scattered everywhere.
Elena’s sword pushed the breath back, and frost powder swirled around.
The plants were still green thanks to Elena.
“A dragon.”
Elena muttered.
Calm voice, completely reliable.
This is an 8-star class…
A shadow fell from above.
A massive shadow that looked like it would cover the vast area suddenly shrank to human size.
Clatter clatter clatter…
Thud.
A woman with pure white hair descended lightly on the muddy path, swirling in the wind.
A pair of graceful horns extended elegantly, a pure white long dress clinging to her body, and purple eyes radiating a mysterious aura.
“Pluto…”
Ice crystals formed in Isilia’s hand, and a transparent sword appeared instantly.
“My mother’s enemy. I’ve been waiting for this day to face you.”
Isilia pointed her sword at me.
" alt="Isilia pointing sword at protagonist">
Like a brilliant move from a game.
She unleashed magic without a word.
From the air, an ice weapon made of semi-transparent ice shot toward me.
“My mother’s enemy? What the fuck…”
I hid behind Elena and issued orders.
Orders to stop attacking and kneel.
“…”
Isilia didn’t listen to the command.
It seemed the command itself wasn’t reaching her.
Clang clang clang clang clang!
Elena easily swatted away the weapons flying from all sides.
Any weapon that touched her sword shattered into ice shards.
“An elf… an elf who loves nature, why are you protecting a black magician?”
“I have no choice… This damn man… I can’t let him die.”
Elena lifted her blouse, revealing a tattoo that usually wasn’t visible.
Now it was glowing purple.
“Submission Oath…! It’s exactly the same as what was carved on my mother!”
A chill swept around Isilia.
As emotions boiled over, the mana she held surged out uncontrollably.
“Haaah?!”
I couldn’t fight at their level.
With a dragon born as a predator standing before me, what race could dare raise its head?
“Princess, take a deep breath. It’ll be okay.”
Elena’s mana spread, and she was fine immediately.
As I said, on the Tower of Struggle, stats were the best.
Isilia looked at Elena with a mocking tone.
“Even though you’re an elf, you’re holding up to my power. You’ve become pretty strong on the Tower of Struggle.”
“It’s not ‘pretty.’ I could kill you right now. If you weren’t Pluto’s slave, you would’ve died the moment I shot you with breath.”
“Me? An elf? Don’t make me laugh. And am I really Pluto’s slave? Don’t call me a slave of some lowly trash.”
Her chest swayed slightly with every move.
The shoulderless dress showed her full cleavage clearly.
Isilia pointed at me.
“That guy is my mother’s enemy. If you try to stop my revenge, no one can forgive you. So just step aside quietly.”
“I can’t.”
“When I hatched and came out into the world, he took my mother through the Submission Oath. Because of Pluto, I never even got to see my mother’s face. Don’t you feel the pain of having your mother’s voice stolen from you?”
Her purple eyes gleamed coldly.
“I’ve been holding on all this time. I won’t let him die.”
“Shiva, who’s going to be scared?”
I fired regulations at Isilia.
Why wasn’t the Submission Oath working?
“Elena, body check!”
I pointed at Isilia, and Elena, looking at me like an insect, leaped forward.
“Submission Oath…”
Among the skills, there was black magic, and within its sub-skills were things like Pluto’s Hand, Memory Manipulation, Physical Reinforcement, and more.
Entering the Submission Oath would let me check the current slave I was facing.
So far, it had only been Elena,
Elena Trigard (8★)
Isilia Von White (3★)
“Is here.”
Now it was two.
It was definitely a Pluto’s slave under the Submission Oath.
But unlike normal slaves, it wasn’t obeying my commands at all.
“Mother’s enemy…”
I understood what Pluto had done.
From Isilia’s story, it seemed her mother had followed Pluto through the Submission Oath.
That’s why she wanted revenge against Pluto.
“…”
Can the Submission Oath be inherited?
A thought crossed my mind.
“But what does that have to do with this? She’s ignoring my commands…”
Puuk-!
“Kyaah?!”
Red blood splattered on the white dress.
Isilia thrashed, trying to transform back into a dragon, but was blocked by Elena.
“Don’t move. It’ll hit.”
“Even though you’re an elf… you don’t know who I am?”
“I don’t. I’ve never seen a dragon like you. Still, since we’re in the same situation, I’ll spare you if you don’t resist. Uh…!”
I gave Elena a test order.
Order to lift her shirt and show her underwear.
“Kim Jinwoo…”
“Hold on a second.”
I gave the same order to Isilia.
Isilia didn’t obey.
“What? What’s different?”
Exactly the same Submission Oath, but Isilia ignored my commands.
It seemed the command wasn’t even being delivered.
“If the Submission Oath is passed to the second generation, I’ll assume it weakens.”
Then two cases came to mind.
Either lower the command level, or Isilia’s will was needed.
“But that doesn’t make sense with the command level.”
Who set the standard for command level?
“Then…”
There was only one answer.
I issued an inner command.
As Isilia reached out to me, white light began to gather at her fingertips.
“Kyahaaaak! It hurts!”
“Don’t move! Kim Jinwoo? Why are you stopping me?! Could you be in danger…?!”
Pang-!
A single snowflake bloomed from Isilia’s hand.
“Holy shit…!”
Isilia’s wish to use magic on me had been fulfilled by forcing her to obey my command.
A half-hearted Submission Oath required Isilia’s will to activate.
