Twist (1)
A peaceful morning. When Kim Geon opened his eyes, the spot beside him was empty. An inexplicable emptiness washed over him. Only after he was fully awake did it hit him. Oh, right—they'd decided to sleep in separate rooms.
Even so, they always ate meals together. As breakfast time rolled around, everyone started shuffling into Yoon Seoyeon's room, rubbing sleepy eyes. Only Kim Miyeon seemed to have gotten up early to prepare the food.
He ran into her in the hallway as she carried the dishes. Still embarrassed about last night, she blushed and turned her head slightly. Even that gesture was strangely alluring.
Today's breakfast menu was spicy pork stir-fry—Korean soul food. The aroma of sesame oil and sweet-salty soy sauce wafted from the dish on the table, teasing his nostrils. The pork, perfectly stir-fried, glistened with a glossy sheen, while glimpses of onions and green onions promised a satisfying crunch. The red hue of the chili powder whetted the appetite without hinting at overwhelming heat.
The first bite flooded his mouth with juicy savoriness. The sweet soy glaze exploded on his tongue in harmony with the meat's umami. The pork was tender yet chewy, and the onions' crispness added delightful texture. Paired with rice, it was pure perfection.
Groan, Miyeon-noona's cooking is delicious, and so is Miyeon-noona herself. The existence of someone this flawless left him in awe.
As he scooped rice with his spoon, Miyeon quietly placed a big piece of pork on it. Then she smiled shyly, like a girl. Lee Seoyul was eating with her eyes half-closed in drowsiness, while the quick-witted Yoon Seoyeon watched their little exchange intently.
Today's dish duty fell to Yoon Seoyeon. Once Lee Seoyul and Kim Miyeon headed back to their rooms, she slipped on the pink apron from last time to tackle the dishes. Seeing her like that stirred memories, and he felt a twitch below.
Was it the workout results lately, or the effect of his stamina stat? He didn't tire even after climaxing, and the slightest stimulation made him harden right up.
Before starting the dishes, Yoon Seoyeon approached him where he sat on the bed. That look in her eyes—he'd seen it somewhere before. No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than her words hit like a bombshell.
"Hey, did you do it?"
He stammered in surprise. "Do... what?"
Yoon Seoyeon leaned in closer upon hearing that, bending at the waist. She braced herself with her hands on his thighs and brought her face right up to his nose before stating clearly, "With Miyeon-unnie."
Already busted, he nodded in helpless admission.
Yoon Seoyeon turned her head slightly and muttered under her breath, "Tch, you said all that cool shit last time, but finding out still pisses me off."
"Huh? What'd you say?"
"Nothing."
"How'd you know?"
"Woman's intuition." She pinched his cheek and asked, "Who started it?"
This, he could say proudly. Miyeon-noona had initiated. He was just defending himself—and he explained her circumstances too.
Hearing Miyeon-noona's side, Yoon Seoyeon's face stiffened for a moment before she said, "W-Wait. So our voices... no, my voice was all audible?"
Embarrassment surged, turning her face beet red. He piled on. "At the end, didn't you say something like 'I'm gonna get pregnant!'?"
She punched his side—harder this time—and yelled, "Shut up!!"
She seemed to be calming her flustered heart. Whether it was his honesty or the fact that he hadn't started it, Yoon Seoyeon leaned in and planted a quick peck on his lips.
That's when it dawned on him. At this rate, he'd end up tamed. As a man—as the oppa—he needed to seize control. He grabbed the back of her neck and guided her toward his now rock-hard erection.
Yoon Seoyeon's eyes wavered in surprise at his move, but there was no sign of dislike. If anything, she looked expectant.
-Cough cough...
He was right on the verge when Lee Seoyul called from outside. "Unnie, it's time to go!"
Startled, Yoon Seoyeon's body tensed, muscles contracting in fear of getting caught. The muscles in her throat tightened too, pushing him over the edge. He thrust deep and came right down her throat.
She wiped her mouth and stepped out, where Lee Seoyul asked, "Unnie, you okay? Your face is so red, and you're sweating a lot."
Then she sniffed near Yoon Seoyeon's face and mumbled, "Kinda smells sweet...?"
Yoon Seoyeon froze rigid, stiffly ignoring her and marching off.

After confirming Lee Seoyul and Yoon Seoyeon had left the house, he followed right after. As he scouted the streets, his mind wandered back to his abilities—especially the Quest trait.
Judging by the rewards, its growth potential seemed sky-high. But the main quests had only triggered twice so far, and the criteria for varying reward quality weren't clear. Was it truly high risk, high return?
Setting rewards aside, why had main quests gone quiet lately? He'd assumed they'd trigger more with people he met, so he'd tagged along with those college kids to the high school auditorium last time. Even with the troll auntie drawing a zombie horde via Stigma and things getting dicey, no main quest popped.
Of course, he hadn't stuck with those college kids long-term, so maybe it was about prolonged contact? But no—Yoon Seoyeon and he hadn't been close enough in the past to count as "long-term."
Then what? Was it women? He was living with three now, thanks to main quests. But Lee Seoyul—he'd thought she was a guy until rescuing her.
Fuck, what the hell is it... sigh...
Maybe he just needed more experience. Main quests weren't solvable right now, so he'd mull it over later.
He wandered the streets, scanning house after house. More survivors than expected. Probably thanks to food from the Free Market boosting survival rates—but still way more than anticipated.
Before this apocalypse hit, the world had been noisy with wars. Maybe that's why—rumors had spread about stocking up on canned goods with long shelf lives. Had that saved lives? Even so, it was about time for them to run out. No easy scavenging spots left; everything worth taking was probably looted. They'd have to farm zombies for coins to survive, which meant the area would get noisy soon.
He made a habit of checking the community whenever he had a moment. His info might pop up again like last time, and it was the best source regardless.
