The Occult Investigation in the Hot Spring Village
In the mid-20th century, a small investigative team consisting of a young priest and an apprentice nun arrived at a modest hot spring village in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.
Reports had been pouring in about people vanishing and sightings of demonic figures, prompting the Vatican to dispatch the team to uncover the truth.
Their mission was to locate the anomalies, report back to the Vatican, and—if possible—eliminate the source of the disturbances.
Since a malevolent demon might be involved, they prepared thoroughly before beginning their investigation.
“How does it sound, Jisu? I’ve got the background story roughed out like this.”
“Oh, it seems pretty good? Is this a mystery occult detective story?”
“Yeah. With this much, Taehyun and Jihye should be interested enough to join in, right?”
“I think so? Honestly, even I want to play as a player right now…!”
“Too bad, but you know you have to play the demon, right?”
“Of course. Hehe, I’m already excited just thinking about teasing Jihye and Taehyun.”
The night before our winter trip, I showed Jisu the completed TRPG rulebook.
I’d made this flavorful 19+ TRPG rulebook myself since I couldn’t find one, and her reaction was better than I’d expected, which was a relief.
She was already thrilled about playing the demon.
This was my first time actually GMing, even though I’d only ever watched others play TRPGs, so I felt both nervous and excited.
I hoped Jihye and Taehyun would enjoy it too.
“By the way, should we tell Jihye what the game concept is?”
“Hmm, probably not necessary? I only told her it was a 19+ TRPG, and she said as long as it helps her connect with Taehyun, anything’s fine!”
“Ah~ Well, no need to worry about that part.”
After all, the whole point of designing this game was to create a natural atmosphere where Jihye and Taehyun could get intimate, so there was absolutely no need to worry about that.
The only thing that concerned me was that some of the events included light SM elements, and I wasn’t sure if Jihye would be into that.
I’d designed the events so Jihye would be the one receiving them, since Taehyun definitely wasn’t the type to enjoy being on the receiving end.
If Jihye wasn’t into it either, I planned to revise all those events.
“By the way, Jihye has similar tastes to mine, so if you included anything like that, keep it in mind.”
“Oh, really? That’s a relief. Otherwise it would’ve been awkward.”
“What, you didn’t already know?”
“How would I know that?”
“Then why did you suggest buying rope? What were you going to do if Jihye wasn’t into that kind of thing?”
“…Then I was going to use it on you.”
“Oh my…♥”
One of the endings involved subduing the evil demon and handing it over to a Vatican bishop, which I planned to use if necessary.
Adding the setting that the bishop would make the wicked demon repent thoroughly would give it a somewhat plausible justification.
Of course, reaching that ending was up to the players, Jihye and Taehyun, so if they didn’t reach it, I was just going to keep her tied up.
Well, since Jihye apparently liked being on the receiving end like Jisu, I could just use it on Jihye as originally intended.
“Anyway, since Jihye has similar tastes to you, I guess we can use it on her.”
“Yeah, yeah~. Tying people up is my job after all, right?”
“Of course. If I so much as lay a finger on Jihye’s body, Taehyun would probably fold my spine in half.”
“Hehe~. Well, I don’t think I could stand watching you touch Jihye either.”
“Did you already talk about that with Jihye?”
“Of course~. Jihye said it was okay. She said she wouldn’t mind if you tied her up, but I turned it down~.”
“Good. I’m not reckless enough to touch Jihye when Taehyun’s right there.”
“Hehe, you with your spine folded in half…. That’s kind of intriguing~.”
“Please don’t be intrigued….”
Jisu laughed brightly, then took the rulebook from me and began reading it slowly.
While she familiarized herself with the rules and events, I checked the outfits we’d all be wearing.
The nun’s habit for Jihye, the priest’s cassock for Taehyun, and the various clothes for the two of us.
After confirming everything was in good condition, I neatly folded them and packed them into the suitcase.
Since they were all cosplay outfits, the suitcase was packed full even though there weren’t many pieces.
But I couldn’t leave out the essential travel items, so I had no choice but to give up on one or two bulky outfits.
“Whew, clothes are all packed. Jisu, did you finish reading the rulebook?”
“Hmm…. No, not yet. I think I need to read a bit more.”
“Got it. Then put it in the suitcase once you’re done.”
“Okay. By the way, Haru, shouldn’t you tell Taehyun about this too? There are some pretty intense situations in here….”
When Jisu looked at me with a worried expression, I smirked and shook my head.
“Don’t worry about that. I’ve already given him a heads-up.”
“Oh, really? Then… okay.”
I nodded.
Of course, I hadn’t told him the full truth—that this was a 19+ SM TRPG. I’d only said we were preparing a game to help him naturally connect with Jihye.
If Taehyun ever learned the real truth, he’d probably turn pale and try to run away.
But he wouldn’t be able to escape.
Because I’d made him an offer he absolutely couldn’t refuse.

On the long-awaited day of our winter trip, I packed my things and headed to the airport.
For the three-night, four-day trip to Japan, I’d brought a few changes of clothes, underwear, toiletries, and a dumbbell.
I wasn’t the kind of gym rat who’d stick to his routine even while traveling with friends, but I still felt uneasy without at least one piece of exercise equipment, so I’d packed a light dumbbell.
‘And if it comes to it, I can always smash Haru’s head with this….’
If Haru showed any signs of trying something weird, I planned to smash him with it right away, gripping the dumbbell tightly.
While I was at the airport taking deep breaths to clear my mind, I spotted two figures walking toward me from a distance, pulling suitcases.
One wore a blue long padded coat, the other a pink one, and they were holding hands tightly—clearly Haru and Jisu.
When Haru, wearing the blue padded coat, spotted me and waved, I raised my hand in a nonchalant greeting.
“You’re here.”
“Hey~. Of course. Did you sleep well last night, Taehyun?”
“…More or less.”
I wanted to say “Like hell I did, you bastard,” but with Jisu standing right there, I had to swallow the words.
Part of it was excitement about traveling with Jihye tomorrow keeping me awake, but the biggest reason was what Haru had said the other day.
“Jisu and I will create a natural situation where you two can get intimate. So don’t argue and just follow along quietly. Got it?”
Back when Jihye had prepared the cat event, I hadn’t been mentally ready and ended up pushing her away, but things were different now.
Honestly, I really wanted to have sex with Jihye.
It wasn’t like I was meeting her just for sex, but I couldn’t say I had no desire at all to hold that beautiful body in my arms.
‘Just how is he planning to set it up….’
My thoughts kept spiraling, and I couldn’t sleep that night.
Because of that, I woke up feeling incredibly tired and wanted nothing more than to demand answers from Haru.
Why had he said something like that the night before and made me so anxious?
While Jisu was briefly checking her phone, I approached Haru to voice my complaints, but—
“Hey, everyone’s here~.”
“Oh? Jihye’s here too. Hi!”
“Hi~. It’s such a lovely morning~.”
The moment I saw Jihye approaching us with her suitcase, all the frustration that had built up in my heart vanished in an instant.
“Jihye looks really pretty today, huh? She put in some effort.”
“Hehe, I paid a little extra attention~.”
“Hey now, where are you looking, Haru! Don’t look at Jihye, look at me.”
“But our Jisu is all bundled up in a long padded coat, so there’s nothing to see.”
“What? That’s it. I’m confiscating your face, Haru!”
“What do you mean by confiscating my face…. Mmph…!”
Jisu and Haru started kissing again and rubbing it in our faces, but I ignored them and focused all my attention on Jihye.
She was wearing a beige sweater and gray skirt under a brown coat, with black stockings.
Her shoes looked like brown loafers, and she’d added a white scarf as an accessory.
I couldn’t help but stare at her, completely entranced by the simple, winter-girl vibe of her outfit.
“Hyun~. Why are you staring so intently~?”
“Huh? Oh, it’s just…. You look really beautiful today.”
“Hehe~. Really?”
“Yeah. Really. You’re so pretty.”
“Hearing you say that makes me happy~. You look handsome too, Hyun~.”
“You think so?”
I was only wearing a white shirt, black coat, and jeans.
Because of my bulky build, the fit wasn’t great, so I wasn’t sure if “handsome” was the right word.
Still, hearing Jihye say I looked cool made my heart pound.
I was really happy.
“Alright, now that everyone’s here, let’s get ready to board the plane!”
“Okay~.”
Hearing Jihye’s voice snapped me back to reality.
I’d almost gotten so lost in Jihye’s charm that I forgot why we were here.
I decided to save the excitement of traveling with Jihye for when we actually got to Japan, and focus on getting through departures for now.
