"Fold if you've had sex within the last hour."
"What…?"
"I said fold if you've had sex within the last hour. No way anyone here has, right~?"
Soeun narrowed her eyes and flashed a sly smile.
She'd thrown out that question just to avoid getting caught herself. I couldn't help but be impressed by how cunning she was.
"Whoa, Soeun. That was brutal. How badly did you not want to drink that you came up with something like that?"
"Hey, that's how the game works. Besides, you never know—someone might actually be in that situation."
"An hour ago? That would've been right when we all got here."
"Exactly."
"So you're saying someone here snuck off for a quickie while the rest of us were gathering? Come on, what kind of pervert would do that?"
That pervert is sitting right here.
I'd already been debating whether to speak up, but after hearing Juyoung and Soeun's exchange, it felt even harder to admit.
Guess I'm just going to have to let this one slide.
I didn't mind being labeled the pervert who got frisky with his girlfriend while friends were over, but I wasn't sure how Jisu would feel about it. Just as I was about to give up on making Soeun drink and move on quietly…
"…I'll drink."
"Huh?"
"I've folded all my fingers. Drink up, Soeun."
Jisu raised her hand—all fingers folded—and spoke up. Everyone stared at her in shock. Me included.
I'd kept quiet because I thought she'd be embarrassed, but she went ahead and confessed first. When everyone turned to look at me, I nodded and raised my own fist.
Never thought I'd be outing us this fast. I was in for at least a week of nonstop teasing.
"Whoa, our Jisu's turned into a total badass~. You actually folded?"
"Well, it's true, so I had to."
"Got it~. If you're owning up like that, I guess I have to drink. Pour me a penalty shot~."
"Want me to make it?"
"Of course. Or you and Haru can make it together."
"Sure."
Jisu filled a beer glass to the brim with soju and handed it to me. I topped it off with just a splash of beer to make a honey shot, then set it in front of Soeun. Without hesitation, she downed it in one go.
That was basically half a bottle of soju. And she chugged it like nothing.
"Whoa…! Starting off strong, huh?"
"I packed it full of my love for our dear Soeun~."
"Really? Haru, your girlfriend's totally cheating on you right now, you know?"
"It's fine. We already confirmed our feelings pretty thoroughly an hour ago."
I threw out the sex joke with half-hearted resignation, and everyone burst into laughter. The awkward tension from moments ago melted away instantly.
"Damn, Haru. Didn't know you had it in you. When'd you guys do it?"
"While we were waiting for you guys to bring the booze."
"Soeun and Jihye were already here by then, right? Don't tell me you did it right in front of them."
"Of course not, you lunatic! You think I'm that much of a degenerate?"
"Then how'd Soeun not notice?"
"…I figured if we did it quietly in the bedroom, no one would hear."
"You absolute pervert. At this point, I gotta respect the commitment."
While Geonwoo grilled me, Taehyun had gone over to Jihye to get the full story.
"You guys were going at it before we even got here? For real?"
"Shut up! Like you wouldn't do the same with your girlfriend!"
"I mean, I do with Darae, but we don't do it when we've got guests over."
"Ugh…!"
"Anyway, it's whatever. Living with Darae, we end up doing it whenever the mood strikes too."
"See?! You do it too!"
"Still, there's a time and place. Guests over is a bit much…"
"I told you to shut up!!!"
Meanwhile, Juyoung had cornered Jisu and was mercilessly teasing her. If any other guy had said that stuff, it would've felt awkward, but Juyoung was different. They'd been neighborhood friends for ten years—he was the closest to Jisu after me, and the guy who'd helped us get together in the first place. Teasing like this was just how he showed affection.
"Haru, Juyoung keeps picking on me…. Scold him!"
"Hey, Juyoung. Ease up. She's had enough."
"Wow, calling in your boyfriend? Fine, I'll back off."
Still, if Jisu called for help, I had to step in. Juyoung raised both hands in surrender with an easy grin. Jisu snorted at him, then immediately burrowed into my arms, rubbing her face against my chest.
"Haru, my face is so red…. I'm dying of embarrassment."
"Me too…. Want to step out for some fresh air?"
"M-maybe?"
"Or we could just rest in the bedroom for a bit."
"Yeah…. It'd be boring alone, so I'll go with you."
"Alright."
We'd wash our faces, catch our breath, and figure out how to handle the situation. I was about to ask the others for a quick break when—
"Whoa, trying to ditch us again for more sex!"
"Nope. We don't approve. You're not going anywhere."
"Don't go to the bedroom. Do it here and we'll allow it."
"Ooh~. That's a great idea. I vote yes."
"Me too!"
"Show us~! Show us~!"
These lunatics weren't letting us leave. Jisu and I were stuck there, forced to keep playing drinking games for the next two hours.
"Communist~! Communist!"
"Comrade~."
"Drink up!"
"Nooo~ you crazy bastards!! Why am I the only one drinking nonstop…."
"Our Jisu looked like she needed the alcohol tonight~."
"Right? If you want to forget what happened today, booze is the way to go, isn't it?"

"Haru, what are you doing? Drink with her."
"Me too?"
"Obviously. Couples are one body! Ah, couples are one body!"
Our friends had clearly teamed up to get us drunk, and we'd both hit our limits. I could handle my liquor better, but Jisu… I wasn't so sure. Her face was flushed bright red, she was stumbling, and her tongue was completely tangled. After downing my own penalty shot, I snatched the glass from her hand and finished it myself.
"Nice~. Haru's playing knight in shining armor. Jisu's gonna have to grant him a wish now."
"A wish…? Haru, you got a wish for me?"
"Not really…. Whatever you want is my wish."
"Reeeally? Then…."
Jisu squinted at me with half-lidded eyes. That was the look she got whenever she was having naughty thoughts. I had a bad feeling and tried to cover her mouth, but she spoke first.
"Then I wanna do it with Haru."
"Huh?"
"If Haru doesn't wanna…. I can do it by myself too."
"What…?"
Jisu, no…? Even drunk, this wasn't like her—suggesting something like that in front of everyone. While I stood there flustered, the others were practically celebrating.
"Oh shit, they're actually gonna do it!!"
"Sex! Clap! Sex! Clap!"
"If you don't grant her wish, you're not a man~! Go for it, Haru!!"
These guys weren't normal either. Worried things were about to get out of hand, I quickly pulled Jisu to her feet.
Who the hell let her drink this much?
"Haru, we going to do it?"
"Jisu, you're really drunk. Let's get you to bed."
"I'm not drunk though. I'm fineee."
As I tried to lead her to the bedroom, jeers erupted behind us.
"Aww, Haru's no fun~."
"Can't even grant a wish. Just kick him out~!"
"Kick me out, my ass. Say that again and get out of my house."
"Aww, so cold~."
I ignored the teasing and brought Jisu to the bedroom, laying her down on the bed. She immediately started squirming under the covers. She was definitely drunk—she couldn't even find the pillow properly. I placed it under her head and gently stroked her hair.
"Jisu, rest for a bit. Come out when you feel better."
"'Kay…. You gonna keep playing?"
"Yeah. Want me to stay if you're lonely?"
"Nah…. Go have fun. I'll wait till you come back!"
"Waiting…. You look exhausted. Just sleep first."
"Nooo! I wanna wait! I'll wait for you while touching myself~."
"Ha…. If you're doing that when I come back, I'm pouncing on you the second I walk in. Consider yourself warned."
"Hehe, got it!"
I stroked her hair one last time as she grinned, then tucked the blanket properly around her. She'd probably be asleep in ten minutes anyway. I quietly closed the bedroom door and returned to the others.
"Jisu asleep?"
"Yeah. Passed out right away."
"Really? Bummer. I wanted to play with her more."
"After you guys force-fed her that much…. I'll keep you entertained instead. Leave her alone."
"Ooh~. Haru's got guts~! Since you're staying to play, let's set up the entrance shot~."
"Here you go, one entrance shot."
A glass full of soju was placed in front of me as the "entrance fee." I picked it up and downed it in one gulp.
"Whoa~ Haru! Chugged it!"
"Alright, let's do this. None of you are getting any sleep tonight, so brace yourselves."
"Oh my, Haru says he's not letting us sleep!!! So hot."
"We're going all the way? Love it!"
Ah, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Now I had to deal with these animals all night by myself. The dread was already creeping in.
