The Nightfall DLC – Demon’s Descent (1)
Powell Gallery and every other community site exploded the moment Yujin’s stream ended, just as it always had.
It wasn’t anything new.
After every broadcast, the same chaotic chatter about what happened—some hilarious, some dramatic—always followed.
But today the viewers’ reactions were different from the usual.
It wasn’t the stream itself. More people than ever were talking about something else.
**[Soma-Left, you goddamn bastard!!!]**
- How the hell can you just stop streaming right in the middle of that scene as a human?!
I almost had a heart attack seeing you jerk off earlier. I’m not exaggerating, I swear I was about to die.
I’ll withdraw my support for this trash starting right now.
I’ve loved you so much up until now, you bastard…

- Wait, what happened? I missed the stream because I was busy. Why are the Soma-Lefts so worked up??
- From now on, don’t attach the “Left” label to Soma anymore… just call him Soma bastard or trash bastard… yeah
- Yandere lol lol lol lol
- This guy was a total Soma-Left villain yesterday, but after today’s stream he’s gone full corrupt lol lol lol lol
- What the hell are you talking about? So tell us what the fuck happened in the stream today!!!
- Just watch it yourself… I can’t even describe how pissed I am with words
- Basically they pulled the same thing as cutting the film mid-sentence right when the Avengers assemble and are about to charge at Thanos lol lol lol
- ??? What kind of nonsense is this… there’s no one explaining this in plain English lol lol
[So, how crazy was the cutoff of today’s Soma-Left broadcast?]
- I thought it was some Hitomi manga about a guy getting a handjob, but instead I saw the most shocking scene of a naked Konpurost tiger… holy shit…
Soma, was it really that hard to keep the stream going for just five more minutes…?

- lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
- Seeing a naked Konpurost tiger on Hitomi is the ultimate mood fixer lol lol lol
- Fact: tigers were born naked and actually wearing clothes is the weirder thing
- If it was a female tiger I might’ve looked away, but a male one? I can’t even…
- Extreme pervert Ingall lol lol lol
- Someone must’ve been paid a fortune to stir up drama in the community lol lol
[So did Soma-Left kiss Yuria or not? Answer me quick, I’m dying here!]
- Guys, I’m dead serious. I’m asking this.
I was beating the crap out of Ariandel just to get the hidden route so I could slowly flirt with Yuria.
But this damn girl kissed Soma first… (no actual proof yet)
I don’t have a girlfriend yet, but this feels exactly like getting NTR’d…
If Yuria really kissed Soma, I’m just gonna give up on the hidden route.
What do you guys think? Did the kiss happen or not?

- These serious posts always get maximum upvotes lol lol lol lol lol
- Schrödinger’s Yuria lol lol lol lol
- Exactly like the emperor who experimented on the crown prince with quantum mechanics lol lol
- Quantum mechanics confirmed lol lol lol
- I’m a real unicorn right now. Every time I see Yuria’s eyes my whole body twitches… I think the kiss only went as far as a peck. yeah
- A peck is still within acceptable limits lol lol lol
- Yuria already confessed to the viewers that she would love Soma for the rest of her life… so we’ve already observed that her heart is tilting toward Soma… therefore she fails the “mind” in the mind-body dilemma…
- What the hell is this lol lol lol lol What kind of paper is this lol lol
- I really loved you, Yuria. I don’t care about any other girl who looks at me… sorry…
The mood in the community sites, which had been flooded with nonsense and absurd comments about Yujin’s stream, slowly began to calm.
At the same time, people’s attention shifted.
The subject of that attention was, of course, the upcoming Nightfall DLC 1: Demon King Descent!
And the final boss of that DLC wasn’t anyone else—Yujin.
He had killed Ariandel with just the sword he’d found in the tutorial.
He had defeated the “Star Seer” without using any of the event items or buffs prepared by the developers.
Not content with that, he had also defeated the strongest “Ruler,” the Calamity God herself.
Until now, people had only watched Yujin’s legendary feats on stream and never realized exactly how insane his physique truly was.
They knew he was on another level, but they still had no idea how far beyond that level.
Because he had always taken down enemies with a single swing of his blade and simply sidestepped every attack by a single step.
Even Ecclesia, the highest-ranked Korean Nightfall streamer, hadn’t landed a single meaningful hit before losing.
So what more explanation was needed?
And yet this very Yujin was about to appear as the final boss of the soon-to-be-released DLC.
In other words, it was the perfect chance for every viewer who had only watched his stream to experience, at least indirectly, how absurdly overpowered his physique actually was.
- lol lol lol I’m seriously hyped. How broken do you think Soma-Left is gonna be as a boss mob lol lol lol
- At the very least he’s gotta be way stronger than Ariandel, right???
- Are you even serious? I bet the devs made him Calamity God tier on purpose. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense
- Who knows about anything else, but even if it’s just to appease the fans, they had no choice but to make Soma-Left ridiculously strong lol lol lol The fans are already this wild—if they make him weak, the entire Powell Software headquarters might get terrorized lol lol lol
According to everyone’s speculation, Powell Software was throwing everything into creating the boss monster “Demon King” based entirely on Yujin’s combat data.
Every time Yujin set another record during his streams, Nightfall’s sales and Powell Software’s stock skyrocketed.
There was simply no way they could ignore the fans.
Therefore, not only the Nightfall developers but also the entire Dark Ring series team was working on the DLC.
This was Powell Software’s all-out effort to deliver the highest-quality “Demon King”—the DLC’s final boss monster.
But, unfortunately, the company was now stuck in a completely unexpected headache.
BOOM!!!
“AAAAAHHH!”
A deafening explosion rang out, and one person went flying through the air like a home-run ball.
How many times had he seen that same sight?
And when would he ever stop seeing it?
Feeling his head throb with pain, Powell Software’s overall director, Misaka Hayao, let out a long, tired sigh.
“So it failed again?”
“Yes. Judging by the results… it failed again.”
After hearing the report from his subordinate, the overall director stared at the figure displayed on the screen.
The man on the screen carried a tiny, cute doll on his shoulder while casually swinging a pitch-black greatsword.
This was the “Demon King”—the final boss of the DLC, created by Powell Software using Yujin’s combat data.
That was right.
Contrary to what the world expected, Powell Software had run into an enormous obstacle while developing the Demon King.
And the reason? The most absurd reason imaginable.
“…This is insane. How many more nerfs do we need before players can even challenge him?”
“But we can’t nerf anymore. If we push him any further, the re-creation of Master Sword will drop dramatically.”
During the process of collecting Yujin’s combat data, the developers had at least realized one thing for certain: they could not use that data as-is.
So in building the DLC, they focused everything on nerfing the Demon King’s stats and adding every possible restriction.
The DLC’s final boss monster, the Demon King, had noticeably slower attack speed and reaction time than the original Yujin.
The pitch-black greatsword was also weaker in power than the original.
And because the Demon King was a being of pure “Demon,” he had massive weaknesses against Holy and Anti-Demon attributes.
Through sheer effort, the Nightfall developers had created as many weaknesses for the Demon King as they possibly could.
On top of that, the boss was supposed to be a corrupted monster who had fallen to the power of “Demon,” yet he was even weaker than the original Yujin!
But…
“…I’m losing my mind. If I have to cut off his arms and legs one by one just to balance him, I’m done…”
The overall director muttered in utter exhaustion.
Despite having gone to such extremes to create weaknesses, not a single gamer in the beta test had beaten the Demon King.
No, even those who managed to take a single hit from him were extremely rare.
Their own created boss monster was simply too strong.
To be continued…
