I Did Nothing Wrong! Porter Torare
I didn't do anything wrong! Porter Torare.
With his silver tongue that could shake any woman's heart, the kind of face that won favor without effort, and stamina that put other men to shame, he truly began to bloom once he joined the Hero Party. What started as simple networking with women of higher status and greater power soon evolved. As he watched them fall for him one by one, a single desire took root deep in his chest: to use these women to seize the wealth and glory he had always dreamed of.
The easiest path was to steal the hero's achievements the moment the Demon King fell. To prepare for that, Torare threw himself even more aggressively into capturing their hearts. In the end, he succeeded in seizing complete control of the Hero Party.
Yet through that entire process he had made one promise with the women of the party. A single rule: he must never touch any woman besides them. Though they already resented sharing him with the other three, all four were undisputed top-tier talents recognized by their respective nations. Rivals in love they might be, but they were forced to acknowledge one another. On that point they reached unanimous agreement: no new competitors would be allowed near their man.
The decision also served to cut off any future women who would inevitably swarm him once he rose to power. Though it left a bad taste in his mouth, Torare swore he would only touch the four women present in order to reach his goal. During the plan itself, he genuinely intended to keep that vow.
Of course, telling a man whose talent for seducing women had fully awakened to be satisfied with only four partners was frustrating in every way. Still, Torare understood that abandoning a little greed to enjoy true wealth and glory was far more profitable in the long run.
That solid resolution, however, soon developed deep cracks as completely unforeseen events began to pile up. It started with the hero's failure to subjugate the Demon King, which shattered the plan to steal his merits and live like a king. Thanks to the women's cooperation afterward he avoided rotting away in prison, but the damage was far worse than he had imagined.
First, he was forced to abandon the beastman warrior Terra during the cleanup. Then the elf paladin Amelda betrayed them and vanished without a trace. With two of the women he had so carefully collected now gone, Torare's determination to honor his promise began to waver.
On top of that, war broke out with the Elf Theocracy and the witch Shude returned to her homeland with no sign of coming back. Finally, Aileen—who had sworn she would always stay by his side—began spending far more time away on duties as a high saintess than he had expected.
Thanks to her efforts he no longer had to debase himself with porter work, yet the so-called “stable life” he had entered was nothing like the picture he had painted for himself. The lifestyle was comfortable enough, but the wealth and glory he craved did not exist here, and the harem he had envisioned sharing with those four women had already fallen apart.
This unsatisfactory reality naturally eroded his will to keep the promise.
Anyway, it was those bitches who screwed up the plan first, wasn't it? If they had just used the hero properly and killed the Demon King, I never would have thought about breaking the promise like this!
In the end, Torare convinced himself that everything was their fault, not his, and that he had no choice but to act. After rationalizing his dissatisfaction, he decided to abandon the oath he had made with the women of the Hero Party.
Even so, he could not bring himself to break it openly in front of Aileen, the one who still brought him money and food. Not out of gratitude, but out of fear that his comfortable life would collapse if she found out. So Torare waited until Aileen left on her frequent long-distance trips, then secretly began sleeping with women in the village he had been quietly observing.
They ranged from the daughters of lowly farmers to highborn noble ladies, yet every one of them fell helplessly for his sweet words, handsome face, and overwhelming skill in bed. They began meeting him regularly. Naturally, he made them take contraceptive medicine every time to leave no evidence behind.
In Thebes alone, Torare carried on secret relationships with more than ten women. All the while Aileen remained blissfully unaware. Each time she returned home to his bright, welcoming smile, she simply continued her happy days, never once imagining what was happening inside her own house while she was gone.
Yet the secret Torare had maintained so carefully was exposed in a way he could never have predicted.
The witch Shude, who had left with no promise of return, came back at the exact moment he was entangled with another woman. She appeared on the scene without warning. The moment he saw her, pure horror flooded Torare's face.
...
There he was, right before her eyes, flagrantly shattering the promise. The sight made something snap inside Shude. A terrifying surge of magical power poured out of her.
At that moment...
“W-wait, Lady Shude! Th-this is a misunderstanding! I wasn’t doing anything. This woman barged in on her own and—”
“Wh-what did you just say? Hey! What the hell are you talking about?! You’re the one who seduced me and dragged me this far!”
“When did I ever do that? Don’t spout nonsense, you whore. You tried to force yourself on a man who was just sitting there minding his own business!”
...
In the span of a breath the two went from exchanging lustful moans to hurling accusations and blame at each other. But none of Torare’s desperate excuses reached Shude’s ears. If the person standing here had been the gentler Aileen or Amelda, the situation might have played out differently. Unfortunately for him, the one present was Shude.
Among all the humans in the Hero Party, she possessed the filthiest personality. Her affection for Torare burned at a level of madness comparable to Aileen’s. She had been the most vocal in insisting they abandon Terra out of pure jealousy. To someone as cold and ruthless as her, the scene unfolding before her eyes was utterly unforgivable.
And so, without the slightest hesitation, Shude acted.
“Ugh, this is ridiculous! Don’t you dare think it’ll end here for you! Do you have any idea who I am to insult me like—”
With a wet, sickening crunch the woman’s body exploded on the spot like an overripe tomato. Blood and organs sprayed across the room in a gruesome shower.
Even though he had tried to use her as a scapegoat, the sight of the woman he had been holding in his arms only moments ago reduced to a ruptured corpse in an instant dealt Torare a heavy shock. He realized the situation had spiraled far beyond anything he had anticipated.
“Sh-Shude… my lady?”
“Haa… Truly… I never imagined you would break your promise with us so quickly.”
“N-no… I… I was—”
Torare’s voice came out rigid with terror in the face of Shude’s thick, seething rage. Extreme fear had seized him so completely that no proper excuse could even form on his tongue. His instincts screamed a single chilling warning: if he said the wrong thing now, he would end up exactly like the woman who now lay in pieces before him.
Looking down at the trembling, terrified Torare, Shude reached a decision.
This won't do… Just as Mother said, males are creatures that cannot be left alone. Now that it's come to this, the correct answer is to drag this man away and train him thoroughly according to my will.
