Guild Raid
-Wow.
-lolllllllll
-50 million, what the hell lol
-This is the combat power of a level 26?
-Our great Haruru...
-Oh mighty peak of Unknown Universe...
GOAT
"Thank you, but I’m still hungry. Fifty million might look huge, but among the absolute monsters who’ve already crossed the hundred-million mark, I’m still short. I’ll keep pushing."
-Amazing
-Amazing
-Our great Haruru...
-Well, looking at it, all the named rankers are already in the hundreds of millions
-Still, fifty million is absurdly strong, though, damn;;;
[At this rate, even if you just equip empty, unenhanced gear, you might clear a hundred million easily?]
"No, no. I’ll still need to enhance things. Let me give you all a heads-up in advance. If Shroud of the Moon of SSS-grade shows up at today’s auction, I’m going straight for +9."
-Nice
-Nice
-What about +10?
-Go for 10
"Even +9 is hard, so could you cut me some slack? I’d have to lean on Chae Money again..."
-Hmm
-Hmm
-Soft Haruru
-You said you were going for the peak
-The server’s first +10 Haruru class is dead and buried
[I don’t think I’ll ever be able to say I watch Haruru’s stream out loud...]
-For real
-For real
-lol
"Sigh. Whoever opened the door to +10 first really set the bar, and now the viewers’ standards are so high that nobody’s satisfied with just +9 anymore."
-<<<
-That’d be you
-<<<
-You’re the one who set off +10, so grit your teeth and hold the line
-<<<
-Yeah, whoever that poor sucker was, legendary stuff
"Fine. If the crowd wants +9, I’ll press it just once."
-Okay
-Okay
-Only once?
-Nice
"Only once, my ass! If +10 fails, it drops all the way to no enhancement. One try is a huge deal."
-Nine percent is generous, though?
-At 9%, it’s basically already happened, yeah
-You don’t know the game at all. Auction items are five or six pieces, and the 9% applies to each one individually, so the real odds are higher than 9%
"I’ll explain why it’s going to appear for your sake. All right, the Lunatic Rabbit raid goes with twelve people, right? And the drop chance is 9%, right? Twelve times nine, what do you get?"
My brain stalled for a second, but somehow the answer was still over a hundred.
-Why did you go silent for a second lol
-Haruru’s brain couldn’t even do 12 times 9...
"Anyway, it’s over a hundred, right? So that means it’ll definitely drop."
-Amazing
-Amazing
-Miracle mathematician, damn;;;
-Haruru was a math major after all
-What is Haruru’s brain on~
Whether they were mocking me or sincerely praising me, it was fine. In any case, let’s keep looking for people to take on the guild raid with us. The third person to qualify, including me, was naturally Great Mo Ne.
[MoneMone1123]
[Lv. 26]
[Class: Astrologer]
[Combat Power: 10,000,000]
She was a support, and on top of that a sub account with nothing built into it, yet she had already hit ten million combat power. It was an absurd number.
-What the hell lol
-A support at level 26 with ten million combat power lol
-She’s probably stronger than most DPS characters
"M-Mone-sama, your specs have really gone up..."
"Yes. I got into it, and it turned out to be fun."
"Is my stream fun? Or is Unknown Universe fun?"
-Gasp
-Gasp
-That’s a pressure question, damn;
-Don’t bully Mone unnie
"The maid Haruru stream can’t beat it, can it?"
"Aaaah! My dark past."
-lol
-lol
-Fair
"You’ll be in the same party as me for the raid, and we’re going after the hardest named boss. That’s okay, right?"
"Of course."
-For real lol
-The entry spec is 1 million, and they’d never imagine it would come in at 10 million and 50 million lol
And then I casually threw the question I was most curious about.
"If Shroud of the Moon, the SSS-grade shoulder armor, drops, will you join the auction? Or will you just cleanly..."
"What do you think I’ll do? Please look forward to today’s broadcast."
-Amazing
-Amazing
-Even the smooth pacing, damn;;;
-Great Mo Ne
-lol
-Money-flooding the auction is gonna be hilarious;;
-Mone unnie vs Haruru civil war, is this happening?
This is worrying. The way she said it, it sounded like she was definitely going to take it for herself. Shroud of the Moon was useful for supports too. Haaah, was the only fair way to beat her in the auction with money?
"N-next..."
-lol
-She’s nervous
-Looking forward to Mone unnie’s fierce auction battle
"This one is probably the first time I’m introducing him on stream, but it’s HaruSailDanBlackCow."
-Haruru, that’s you
-This isn’t the first time you’ve introduced them
-lol
-There are two Harurus
"Not me! His actual nickname is HaruSailDanBlackCow. And he really..."
When I turned the mic on for him, I heard a man imitating a cow’s moo.
"He really is a black cow."
"Moo~."
-lol
-That’s a committed bit
-Black cow (for real)
-Why is he mimicking it so well?
"Strictly speaking, I’m a fox, and this guy is a cow, so..."
I’m a VTuber doing RP in a sense, so I should respect other people’s RP too. Let’s play along without making him feel awkward.
Just like last time. A+ was already impressive, too. Satisfying. I wonder what his game specs looked like. How much stronger had he gotten?
[HaruSailDanBlackCow]
[Lv. 25]
[Class: Cosmic Slayer]
[Combat Power: 1,400,000]
1.4 million combat power. Was he spending this much just to commit to the concept? In a different sense, that was impressive.
The class was Cosmic Slayer.
At a glance it looked similar to my own Cosmic Blade class, but it was completely different. The position alone was worlds apart: Cosmic Blade was a close-range damage dealer, while Cosmic Slayer was a vampiric tank. Even the weapon was different, with Slayer using an axe instead of a sword.
"But you seem to be imitating me, and you went with Cosmic Slayer as your class."
"Moooooo~."
"What?! You say real men use axes? It’s swords."
"Moo."
"Well, cows using axes or spears to fight is the real rule. It’s a tradition that’s been passed down since the very ancient past."
-???
-?
-How are you understanding that?
-Can she interpret it because they’re both black cows?
"No. Everyone, I’m not actually understanding him. I’m just making up my own interpretation and replying to that."
-lololol
-That’s ridiculous and perfect
"Moo."
"Yes, please take care of me too."
Next, I invited Ulsan’s Pride Jeong-yong, who would have been offended if I skipped him.
[Ulsan’s Pride Jeong-yong]
[Lv. 27]
[Combat Power: 1,600,000]
"Nice. One point six million. With our guild raid tank, that means Black Cow-nim and Jeong-yong-hyung are enough."
-???
-There are twelve people, so if you split it 4/4/4, you’re one short?
-You need one more person
"No. My party is going with a no-tank, all-in-on-DPS setup."
-Amazing
-What the hell lol
-That’s a real macho party
No tank, one DPS, three supports.
It’s risky, sure, but on top of covering multiple utility roles, we also get the huge advantage of not having to reserve a slot for a tank, a role that’s insanely hard to find.
"Nice to meet you. I’m Lee Jeongyong."
-Nice~
-Welcome, Yong’s little brother
"How are you feeling today?"
"I didn’t work overtime yesterday, so I’m in top condition. Just leave it to me. Ah, and I brought this to show on stream..."
"What is it?"
He linked an item.
[Lv. 25 Space Shield Skill Book (Guardian of Space exclusive)]
[Success Rate: 50%]
"Oh. This is a Guardian core skill book, isn’t it? The thing that finally turns you into a real shield tank once you have it!"
-Amazing
-Amazing
-Where did he get that?
-Does that drop from a boss too?
"I got it while hunting."
"That’s right. The Space Shield skill book drops from regular mobs. Only Cosmic Blade is stuck in absolute hell mode and drops only from bosses..."
-lol
-Insane god-tier class
-Bear the burden of the throne, Cosmic Blade!
"I’ll try it. Please, let it succeed."
"You can do it! Go, Great Jeongyong!"
The result? It looked like a success. His shouting was so loud I had to turn my volume down for a moment.
"WOOOOO!! It appeared! Great Haruru is the best!"
-Ah, that startled me lol
-What the hell lol
-Congrats congrats congrats
-I thought a volcano had erupted...
It was a 50% chance from the start. Why would he fail? Still, honestly, I was sweating bullets too.
"Congratulations."
Now when I looked at his status window, Space Shield had been added, and his combat power had gone up accordingly.
"Thanks to you, I can finally act as a shield tank. Until now I was like fish bread with no fish inside it."
-Amazing~
-Amazing~
-Aren’t there never fish in fish bread to begin with?
-It’d be fish bread without the red bean paste lol
-Jeongyong-hyung is ecstatic lol
"Haruru-nim, may I ask you to call me Steel Jeongyong of HaruSailDan?"
"Steel Jeongyong sounds kind of cool. I’ll call you that."
-lol
-Steel lol
-Steel Jeong-yong
-He’s Steel Jeongdragon
[HaruRudanMuchaenamul]
[Lv. 27]
[Class: Star Archer]
[Combat Power: 1,800,000]
"Amazing. 1.8 million! Muchaenamul-nim, you’ve been spending some money."
"Compared to fifty million, it’s just a baby sprout of a baby sprout of a baby sprout. By the way, did you like the radishes I sent you?"
"Yes. It tasted like a perfect rice thief, and now there’s no rice left at home."
-There wasn’t any to begin with
-Radish greens over rice are delicious
"Glad to hear it. I’ll send you some other vegetables next time. Watching your half-cam stream, I figured I should make sure you’re eating properly."
-For real
-Agreed
-Haruru’s body is smaller than a radish.
-Live vegetable support is insane~
"I’m not smaller than a radish... but thank you. I’ll eat well and keep working hard on the Unknown Universe stream."
There were others too, like BrightSky and Napo, people who had crossed the one-million combat power mark and would have felt wrong to leave out. Not long after, all twelve slots were filled and a full raid party made up entirely of our guild members came together.
"I can’t believe the day has come when we’re running raids with guild members this strong. I’m genuinely too proud for words. All right, the Lunatic Rabbit raid. The patterns themselves aren’t that important, but the structure is, so I’ll give you a quick explanation."
The Lunatic Rabbit raid was a twelve-person raid split into three parties of four.
The raid progression was divided into Phase 1, a journey toward the far side of the moon, and Phase 2, where the Lunatic Rabbit on the moon’s far side fought the twelve-player raid in earnest.
Phase 2 didn’t care about party divisions; you just had to beat on the boss like maniacs. But Phase 1 absolutely required proper party separation.
"So please listen carefully to what I’m saying."
My Party 1.
The party responsible for the named boss with the nastiest patterns and the biggest health pool.
Party 2.
The role of breaking the black moon crystals.
And Party 3.
They had to keep fighting off the creatures spawned from the approaching shadow of the moon, holding the line as hard as possible so the shadow wouldn’t swallow our assault base. At the end, a named boss would appear too, and we planned to go help them then.
"I have a question. When I studied this beforehand, Phase 1 had Party 1 and Party 2 split the named bosses and leave the crystals alone. Is this a different build?"
"Excellent question. Who asked that?"
"It was BrightSky."
"Amazing. As expected of the lead captain. You even studied in advance."
-Great Sky
-Well, if he’s the captain, his academic background must be insane...
"Oh ho ho. Lead captain, you flatter me."
"The reason we’re breaking the crystals is that it increases the number of auction items. That said, the difficulty also goes up by that much."
The moment the crystal is destroyed, one random buff is applied to all enemies across the moon.
There are four possible buffs in total. First, increased HP. Second, increased attack speed. Third, increased evasion. And the glorious fourth is...
"It’s called Berserk, and it raises all of a monster’s stats, including HP, attack power, attack speed, and evasion. But come on, there’s no way that one’s going to trigger. Let’s relax."
