Chapter 9: The Dwarf and the Nipple Quest
Morning came, and Fam was praying just like yesterday.
"Praying to the guardian deity?"
"No... um, a different god."
"Why the hesitation?" I worried she might've gotten hooked on some weird cult.
"Fam, let's battle. I'm totally winning today."
"Ugh, full throttle from the morning again? But I'll take you on."
Fam puffed out her chest with resolve. Still those perfect modest handfuls. She squeezed her eyes shut tight, embarrassed.
I spotted the irregularity right away. A subtle poke lifting her clothes.
"Fam, why?"
"I prepared so Master wouldn't mess up. I embarrassed you yesterday."
She'd prepped them herself by touching.
"Fam, why didn't you trust me...? I'm a man who delivers when it counts. I really wanted to pinpoint your nips with my own skill."
"Master, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were so serious about the game. I thought you just wanted to look."
Fam apologized, looking truly remorseful.
"Can't be helped, but no game today. Next one's after the quest, but get ready—I'm nailing it."
"You're still doing it? Not a joke...? Understood."
Fam nodded and started to slip away, relieved.
"Wait, that's separate. Lemme tweak 'em a bit."
"Eh? But I can't refuse..."
I pinched both her nips through her clothes. So soft.
"Hyahn!" Fam let out a mix of scream and moan.
"Tiny things."
I varied the pressure, kneading and twisting. They firmed up a little.
Fam's face burned red as she endured.
Hated to stop, but quest time. Final hard pinch—Fam went "Augh!" and jolted.
"Alright, breakfast then to the meetup spot."
"Not 'alright'!"
Fam shot back with a grudge.
At the gate rendezvous, the dwarf who'd helped me when I was lost carrying Fam stood there.
"You're Aidan?"
"Ye named yerself when ye beat that goblin pack, no?"
He was the dwarf I'd met my first day in this world too.
"Ah, sorry. Too much chaos—forgot."
"No mind."
"Gotta say, we're total newbies. Fifth day adventuring for me, second for Fam. Won't be much help to you."
"Eh? Fifth day? But Master used magic yesterday... uh, lie. Master faked magic, just chucked rocks at me."
Fam was more shocked than Aidan. She'd spilled my info accidentally, trying to spin it as a funny story.
"Fam, it's fine. He's the dwarf who helped you."
"Hmm, yer levels?"
"Master's Adventurer level 10, I'm Mibu Wolf level 7."
"Fast. Level 10 takes a month usually."
"Maybe nonstop slime and goblin grinding."
He eyed me suspiciously. No special skills on Fam's sheet. Exp boost would leak eventually, but not now.
"Hmm. Surprised ye grew so quick, but knew ye were green. Figured I'd train ye for ten days."
"Grateful, but no reason for such kindness."
Like with Fam, why was this dwarf so nice to me?
"Ye tried savin' a dyin' dog-ear too."
"Wanted her body as payoff."
"No, that's hindsight. I was a pitiful sight then. Doubt my body caught your eye. I'd given up on life. High price too. Yet Master tried saving me."
Fam jumped in.
"Heh, same here."
"...Fine. No point chatting. Honestly, we were stuck. Glad to take the quest formally. Party register too."
Aidan nodded. We headed out of town.
En route to the monster-attacked village, we hunted.
Me and Fam fought; Aidan directed and advised.
"Fam, fear not the beast. Lean yer center forward more."
"Yes." Fam faced a goblin.
"Don't back away. Meet it head-on. Dodge upfront."
Under Aidan's calls, Fam moved. Lots on center of gravity.
"Big dodges—whole body, not just torso. Move yer feet. Chain to next."
Not instant fix.
Aidan advised patiently. Fam's moves clearly better than yesterday. Attacks that repelled her before now flowed with weighty strikes, dropping foes.
Defense shifted—no more full evades.
Read attacks, minimal flow-offs or dodges, whole-body balance to next hit.
High agility base. Aidan coached leveraging it in combat.
Mistakes happened. Goblin side-slashed her today. Teary-eyed glance at me, but Aidan's "Focus!" snapped her back.
"Footwork improved." I petted potion-drinking Fam's head.
"How's Master?"
"Feels same." Bitter chuckle.
"Hmm, ye trained sword? Current weapon's draggin' ye."
"Kid days, bundled bamboo rod as sword practice."
Elementary/junior high kendo.
"Yer center's pulled back. Feet wide side-to-side, but mind front-back. Can't lunge, flailin'. Arm swings only—no damage. Lower body lags torso."
Spot on. Wide stance for body checks, subconscious. Led to pulled-back hunch, poor swings.
Double-edged scared self-damage on blocks, unlike katana.
Stance killed kendo steps; front-back jerky. Figured practice ≠ combat, gave up. But combat should extend practice.
"What sword shape for bundled bamboo?"
"Katana. Know it? Two-hand, single-edge. Curve opposite blade."
"Hmm."
Aidan opened storage, pulled a sword.
"Storage adventurer-only?"
"Alchemist here—'Workshop' skill. Like storage, similar uses."
Took the sword. Unmistakable Japanese katana.
"Demon King sub 100 years ago, user had this. My copy. Try it."
"Yeah, thanks."
"Fam, these."
Two short-swords, knife-like, to Fam.
"Dual wield. Closer attacks. Ease in, no force."
"Yes."
Knives suited adventurer, katana Mibu Wolf.
Opposite feel, but Aidan's picks fit us perfect.
Dusk.
Camp setup. Roadside stone pillars with barriers—safe from monsters. But exposed. Wonder if beasts really skip.
No mana seeds today.
Monsters drop items. Goblins: clubs—guild skips. Slimes: vaseline (thought jizz till Fam; secret). Stored. Sells in bulk maybe.
My earth magic wild rabbit: Aidan butchered. Fam's wild herbs added to pot. Village foraging helper, she said.
"No water. Stream nearby?" To Aidan.
"Water magic."
Ah, that use. Fire-start fire magic. Wind adjusts.
"Thought earth only."
"Imagination unlocks. Water orb example."
Made one.
"Hand in—wash."
"Neat. Big for hair. Fam, dunk head, wash."
"Yes."
Fam submerged, scrubbed. Splashes returned to orb.
"Feels great."
Pulled out. Dripping. Shake—splashed me and Aidan.
"..."
Dispelled, stored towel to Fam.
"Sorry!"
She toweled off.
"Obvious, but inconvenient."
"Imagination. Splashes returned. Same for skin/hair."
"Got it. Fam, my head."
Cast needs one hand conducting—orchestra style—hard self-wash.
"Leave it."
Fam ruffled. Slim fingers scalp-massaged bliss. First real wash since arrival—wet cloth only before. Refreshing.
"Ok, pull hand, out."
As Aidan said, dry head/hands.
"Your turn, Aidan."
"Nah." Grumpy face.
"Feels good. Fam, convince him."
Tent up. Monster-repel magic too, apparently.
Unknown mechanism/activation.
Barrier works—beasts stay away. But bandits. Rotation: two sleep, one watch. Me, Aidan, Fam.
Middle shift roughest—double nap. Aidan volunteered.
No clock, but moon/stars tell time. Moon for shifts. Cloudy: ember cord measures.
Phone alarm works. Stored, full charge. No signal—phone useless.
Watched fire, kept lit.
Beasts fear fire too, but goblins smart. Might target light.
Stars gorgeous. No moon, douse fire—brighter.
Milky Way. Galaxy planet? Earth in that stream maybe.
Hunted Polaris via Big Dipper/Cassiopeia. Nada.
Thank you for reading.
Thanks to those who bookmarked and rated.
It motivates me. I'll keep at it.
