88. The Dungeon in the Church and the Squatting Girl
The dungeon entrance was inside the church building.
It was just like the one in Rishel. In the center of the floor was a black circle about five meters in diameter, with black flames-like wisps rising from it.
One of the knights had adventurer as a second profession. He transported us down to the tenth floor.
Ideally, we'd clear it floor by floor, nice and steady, but we didn't have that kind of time.
Six from Levante, six from Altail, six from the knight order—a total of eighteen—descended to the tenth floor of the dungeon. This group would tackle it all the way to the Area Guarder's room. A big party.
The interior was a rocky cavern like a stalactite cave, with exposed stone everywhere.
"Not like Rishel's neat, partitioned dungeon, huh."
"Dungeons vary in terrain and monsters from one to the next."
Myra dutifully answered my mutter.
"It's fine to go as a full group, but I'd like to test a six-man fight first. Stealthily, if possible."
"Why stealthily?"
Was that so weird? She looked puzzled.
"If they think I'm weak, Aver won't let me into the Area Guarder's room."
"You've been training with Aver in the mornings, right? Doesn't she already know your strength? You seem eager to go this time, too—unusually bold for you."
"No choice. I figure with my skills, Fam's, and Mizuki's Special Skills, we can pull it off. Anyone else, and we might lose. Can't risk that."
"Fam and Mizuki... Shame I'm not in the fighting lineup."
"Nah, that's not it. With you, Cecily, and Ira's support and firepower, I even feel like pushing forward. It's a pickup party, but the balance is perfect—better than I deserve."
While chatting with Myra, I noticed Fang and Doris watching me. They had something to say.
As I started toward them, the ground shook, and a massive worm burst out. At least five meters long, wriggling straight at us. It looked sluggish but moved fast.
Its tip was a tubular maw big enough to swallow a human head whole, lined with sharp fangs inside.
I dodged and slashed with my knife, but the blade couldn't pierce its skin. Tough bastard.
"Watch the saliva from its mouth! It'll melt you!"
Zofia, the knight commander, shouted from behind. Right on cue, the monster spat.
"Gross!"
I dodged on instinct, but lost balance—and its whip-like tail lashed out.
I took the hit full-on, got flung back, and slammed into the cavern wall.
"Damn it!"
I recovered, knife at the ready.
But I wasn't needed. Aver, Beers, Fang, and the knights had it surrounded, piling on.
The worm's hide was tough, but their attacks shredded it in seconds.
Mizuki and Fam watched just like me, staying out.
Scarier than the monster. As I watched, Doris ran up.
"You okay?"
"Y-yeah. More importantly, didn't you have something to tell me?"
She frowned awkwardly. Kinda comical, like a tanuki face. I'd thought that before.
"...I gotta pee."
She whispered, glancing around.
"What? You didn't go before entering?"
All eyes turned to us.
"D-don't yell! It's embarrassing!"
"S-sorry."
She grabbed my hem and tugged.
"Come to that recessed spot over there."
"Wait, you want me—a guy—to watch? Ask Fam to guard you."
I tried calling Fam, but she yanked harder.
"N-no! You're my master now—take proper care of me!"
The stares burned. Especially Mizuki, looking pissed. I could tell her to deal, but not Doris—we weren't that close yet.
"...Fine. Sorry, guys—wait up."
I told the group. Doris and I slipped away to a hidden recess out of sight.
Once hidden, she hiked up her robes and dropped her panties.
"Hey, this a ploy, right? You're not really gonna...?"
"Well, kinda..."
"Not embarrassed?"
I asked while pulling out my smartphone.
"Of course I am. But you're used to it, right?"
Her face flushed—excited, maybe.
"Nah, first time."
"Really? First time for me in front of a guy, too. Kinda thrilling..."
She squatted. Her pubic mound and slit came into clear view. Ripe and mature—got me going.
"There was something I had to tell you before entering this dungeon. About the castle—we visited once with the Men in Black."
She whispered.
"Met the king?"
"No, we were prepping to greet him. I had Izark's Pilgrimage Tag, so Mii and I entered the church where the dungeon mouth is. The castle folk were busy—only met the gate guard and escort knight. Church was empty, so I prayed at the altar. Meanwhile, Mii found and went into the basement."
"Mii had Crystal Control as a Special Skill. Did that spawn the dungeon?"
"Don't think so. No entrance back then, at least."
She answered. She'd dragged me here to tell me—no reason to lie.
If Mii's power did it, his skill could delay-activate commands on a Crystal Core. Hard to dismiss the Men in Black visit and dungeon spawn as coincidence. Why leave that trap?
Mii based out of Fulft. Possible he left "gifts" along our path.
"Mash... it's coming out..."
Lost in thought, Doris spoke.
"Sudden much?"
Liquid gushed from between her legs, pooling on the ground. I'd half-forgotten why she called me. Phone ready, I watched intently.
"It really comes from there, huh..."
"D-don't get fascinated by that! And seriously, don't stare—embarrassing!"
It started as a trickle, built to a stream, then tapered off. Kinda poignant.
Done, she shivered.
"...All finished."
She gazed at me dreamily—turned on from being watched?
"Kinda moved. Thanks to you, Doris, I've awakened a new kink. As thanks, lemme wash you."
Before she replied, I rinsed her slit with water magic.
"Nnh... ah... ahn..."
She moaned.
"Sticky stuff's oozing out. Won't get clean like this."
I reached to properly clean her, but she grabbed my hand.
"Any longer, and they'll get suspicious."
Got too into her lewd display—forgot the group.
"Ugh, probably already are. Oh well."
I pulled back; she quickly redressed.
"Just you and Mii entered the castle?"
"Yes. Others headed to Niren ahead."
She nodded.
"What's a Pilgrimage Tag?"
"Myra probably has one. Permit issued by high priests. Lets pilgrims pray at altars off-limits otherwise."
"You still have it?"
She shook her head.
"Izark had it."
We returned, and the group resumed toward the Area Guarder's room.
Fam and Mizuki sidled up.
"Doesn't smell like she was lying..."
Fam sniffed.
"If Fang asked, maybe I'd tag along too."
Mizuki muttered.
"N-no way. Mizuki, absolutely not."
Didn't wanna compare sizes.
"So, how was it?"
She didn't buy the pee excuse either. But couldn't spill Doris's info in front of everyone.
"Great. Got me excited."
Not what she wanted, but true.
"...Pervert. Don't go asking us to show you."
Mizuki sighed in exasperation.
"I'd love video of you doing it."
"...If you really wanna see, I could. Just don't hate me after?"
"Mizuki, no—the embarrassment is what turns me on. If you just show it casually, that's no fun."
"Don't say it like I'm not embarrassed!"
Chatting with them, three worms erupted from the ground.
Two ahead, one behind. Surrounded.
"Got a proposal..."
I called to Zofia and Aver, weapons ready.
"I've got adventuring experience. Drop the formal talk in combat."
Zofia gave a wry smile.
"Knight order takes one, Altail one, Levante one—thoughts?"
"Sounds good. Levante on the rear, Altail right front, knights left front."
Aver and I nodded.
The others had overheard; Levante grouped behind, wary of the rear foe.
"Just take out the back one, right?"
I nodded at Myra.
"Me, Fam, Mizuki charge in. Myra, Ira—guard Cecily and support from back. My slash barely scratched; moves like a worm but skin's armor-tough."
"My magic's turn!"
Cecily grinned, raising her staff.
Fireball launched. Worm dodged faster than expected.
"What?!"
It opened wide for a bite and lunged at Fam. She sidestepped, but it adjusted.
"Chrysanthemum Ichimonji!"
Her vacuum wave should've created distance, but the charge didn't stop.
"Bad!"
I rushed its body with a thrust. Blade slid, but my tackle veered it—Fam escaped.
Tail whipped at me; forewarned from last time, I dodged easy.
Mizuki slashed from the other side, slicing deep.
"Swordsman skill. Broke level 20, got penetration boost."
She answered my shock. Scary stuff—don't level too much, please.
"Then Fam and I distract. Mizuki, you main DPS."
"Wait—I'll distract too. Against unslashables, my mace is better."
Myra joined front with her mace.
I started harassing. Dodged saliva sprays, slashed, kept distance. Fam and Myra baited too.
"Don't dance around in front of it!"
Cecily yelled from back, prepping shot two. We eyed each other, scattered from her line—fireball hit.
Worm froze; Mizuki struck. Her eyes glowed blue—Super Kill triggered. One swing, poof—gone.
Mizuki picked up the Mana Seed drop.
The other fights ended too.
Knights mobbed and pummeled theirs.
Altail: Aver, Beers, Fang beat theirs down.
Doris and another supported rear.
We caught our breath.
"Area Guarder's room's close. Let's move."
Zofia's call, and we went.
"Area Guarder here a worm too?"
I asked Myra. Bigger, armored version? Goddess Summon at start could end it quick.
"Newly generated dungeons sometimes mismatch floor mobs and Guarder."
"Huh."
Zofia turned as I asked back.
"Fifty-fifty odds it matches the floor enemies."
"...Got it."
Blind fight's a gamble. No intel source.
Everyone halted mid-thought.
We'd reached the Area Guarder's door.
