After walking for about an hour, I finally stepped into the village.
It was a port town where it would normally take a carriage ride for at least a week to reach from the distance we had traveled. The place felt almost deserted, with nothing but the small guild office and inn in sight—a quiet, modest spot.
Thankfully, an orc settlement lay nearby. Based on the settings, this had to be the second village after the first town that held the original boss of the story. The first town had been designated as a port, yet I never imagined we would leap over the boss and arrive here directly.
But... why did the gazes of the people keep drifting toward Mer?
Honestly, no one was paying her any mind.
Under the faint moonlight filtering in, her white dress seemed almost translucent, outlining every curve of her body as the thin fabric shifted with the breeze.

The room we rented turned out to be surprisingly cozy.

She must have been really tired.
