Prayers Before the Hunt and Burning Desires
The next day dawned in the empty cabin, and I started baking bread for breakfast.
Meanwhile, Viola and Benedict were off praying at the church, each in their own way.
I had no idea what Viola—after a month together—might be praying for, but I could guess Benedict's. Probably that today's monster subjugation would end successfully.
I could tell. Benedict was just like the novel's knight: dashing, nearly perfect in his goodness.
That's why, in the story, he was the first to stand against the Demon King, suffered the most failures, and earned the glory of plunging his sword into the Demon King's heart at the end.
...Naturally, today's monster subjugation would succeed without a hitch. It had to. There were no exceptions.
Viola was praying diligently too. I wondered what her prayers were about.
Unfortunately, without mind-reading magic, I couldn't know. What a shame.
Pushing aside that regret, I waited for their prayers to end. The bread cooling was a minor loss—I'd just eat this batch and bake fresh for Benedict and Viola once they finished.
Luckily, Viola wrapped up first and took the sandwich I'd made. Benedict finally emerged twenty minutes later.
His first words after praying were pure Benedict.
"My apologies, Father. You must have waited too long."
I shook my head to spare him any embarrassment.
"Not at all, Brother Benedict. Bread can be baked again, but your prayer time won't return. Waiting is only natural."
"Thank you for your consideration."
Benedict bowed politely, and I slipped in a casual question.
"You seemed to enjoy it—shall I make you two sandwiches?"
"...Are you sure that's alright?"
"Of course. When it's just me, I eat less, but with more mouths to feed, I've been stocking up on ingredients on purpose."
I glanced subtly at Viola.
She either hadn't heard or was just gazing at Benedict and me with those pretty, innocent eyes.
That look reignited it instantly—the dark urge to defile those bright, clever eyes with lewd corruption.
But today wasn't for that. Today was for my goals—and for rewarding Viola's cooperation—demanding my full effort.
Meanwhile, watching Viola eat, Benedict began sharing his impressions of her with me.
"By the way, Sister Viola is quite the enigmatic woman."
"...What do you mean?"
I was annoyed, but I tamped it down and asked.
Thankfully, oblivious to my mood, Benedict explained.
"Her eating habits, her demeanor—despite her Holy Nation upbringing, she's remarkably free-spirited."
Was that praise or criticism? Before I could probe, he clarified preemptively.
"Ah, I mean it positively. Life in the Holy Nation feels so... stifling, suffocating. After seeing only those types, meeting you and Sister Viola has been refreshing for me."
His smile held not a speck of deceit.
Yeah, that's Benedict. The novel's saintly hero, beloved by the Holy Nation's faithful for it.
He admired that freedom yet lived by stricter rules than anyone, earning thick trust within the Holy Knights too.
A man perfectly suited to be the novel's protagonist.
I'd even read it as a romance aimed at women, but dissecting it, Benedict and Viola could pass for leads. The other three felt like sub-male-leads without him.
I nodded at Benedict with a smile.
"That's Sister Viola's charm."
I'd almost said "Viola-yang," but caught myself.
"Viola-yang... You two must be quite close."
Benedict never let a title slide.
I tensed, wary he'd nitpick it—"Even as a priest, you should watch your words"—but he exceeded my expectations in sainthood and humanity.
"Sister Viola and you both seem to cherish each other so deeply. It's heartwarming to see."
...Seriously, if he weren't a potential rival, I'd want to befriend him. Benedict von Krushal.
Time came, and I changed into more comfortable clothes for mobility.
Benedict donned the armor he'd arrived in.
"Viola... Miss, we'll be off."
"Don't worry, Sister Viola. No matter what, I'll protect Father Kasian."
"Yes... Please both of you, be careful...."
Benedict and I bid Viola farewell in our own ways, then set off together.
"Shall we start the search right away?"
"Sounds good."
I nodded, recalling Sebastian's report.
'Master, all preparations are complete. I've placed a monster in the forest matching your specifications—deep, hard to find.'
Yes. Yesterday, I'd ordered Sebastian to plant one.
A monster that could conceal its presence and mana, and one with extremely faint power.
Why? Because of Benedict.
He had exceptional skill and meticulousness. I needed something he'd search all day without finding.
Hence, one that hid its aura and evaded his mana detection.
Sebastian had sourced it swiftly, hidden it undetected in the forest, and fled.
Now, time to split.
"Brother Benedict, let's divide and search."
"Yes, that's best. Father Kasian, if you spot the monster, contact me via this communication stone."
"I will."
"If you call, I'll rush from the forest's far side. I have a duty to return you to Sister Viola's side."
...Yeah, I get why he's the main guy.
An personality that says such cringey lines to another man with total sincerity.
Feeling a pang of conscience toward him, I spoke.
"I trust you, Brother Benedict."
The two men headed into the forest. To hunt the monster, they said.
Yes, to hunt the monster... to eliminate the threat to our village.
I wasn't worried about Brother Benedict. He seemed stronger than any Holy Knight I'd seen at the convent.
But Father Kasian worried me. He was surely incredibly strong. I could tell from helping with farm work, playing with the kids, or church duties.
Above all, when we did... those things at night... he was so forceful, so powerful... and his body was amazing...
Still, fighting was different. Experience mattered most in battle—even a simple nun like me knew that.
I wanted to cast a holy spell on him, but held back, fearing it might hinder.
No, Father Kasian is strong too. He can do it. Yes.
Just like how he pins me down at night and ravages me relentlessly...
......Oh god, am I the worst?
Father Kasian went off with Brother Benedict to slay the monster, and here I am...
Worried for him, but the moment I think of him, lust surges...
I'm awful.
Thinking that, I came to in the cabin.
And without Father Kasian's permission, I'd slipped into his room.
I lay on his bed—the one where I'd writhed beneath him, moaning, and where he'd slept alone.
Sniff sniff.
Father Kasian's scent. The smell that drives me mad, clouds my mind.
My legs parted on their own.
Parting them revealed my already sopping slit.
I hiked up my habit, spread my legs, and brought my hand to my crotch.
Rub!
"Haaang...."
Without Father Kasian's permission, in his room, doing something so... so indecent...
But I can't stop... I won't stop...
Rub, rub, rub.
"Hng, mm, uwaang... K-Kasian... Father Kasian...."
My body's ruined. Just thinking of him wets me between the legs; his scent alone moves my body against my will.
But I love it. It doesn't matter.
Rub, rub, rub.
"Father Kasian, F-Father Kasiiaaan... Haaaang...♡"
Right now, I'll surrender my body to my heart.
