20. The Deal
The cold corridors of B5 Floor. Each footstep echoed through the empty space, filling the void with a hollow resonance. I gripped the iron chain binding Magical Pure and yanked her forward roughly. Her white dress was stained with grime, and her face, peeking through disheveled platinum hair, was deathly pale. But her eyes still burned with unquenched fire—hatred and distrust flickering precariously toward me.
"Where are you taking me?" she asked in a low voice.
"I told you. Your friend is here."
I gave a curt reply and quickened my pace. At the end of the corridor was a room. It had been empty before, but now it was prepared to receive a new prisoner. Two orcs stood guard in front of it. Spotting me, they stepped aside with lecherous grins.
"Trainer sir, you've arrived."
Mid-level trainer. Even the low-rank demons now spoke to me with respect. One orc chuckled, spitting between his teeth. I ignored them and inserted the key.
Clank.
The heavy lock disengaged with a thud.
Inside the room, a woman was bound. Her arms hung from chains dangling from the ceiling, her legs spread and fixed to the floor. Sweat-soaked green hair draped over her shoulders, and red welts covered her exposed skin through the tears in her battle suit.
Emerald.
Shin Sea.
"Sea... Sea?!" Magical Pure cried out like a scream.
She tried to shove me aside and rush in, but the chain I held snapped taut, halting her. She dropped to her knees on the floor, reaching out desperately.
"S-Su... Sua unnie?"
Emerald lifted her head. Her unfocused eyes slowly shifted toward Pure. Her face was a mess—split lips, bruised and swollen around the eyes. The moment she recognized Pure, tears welled up.
"Unnie... you're alive. Thank God. Sob sob."
Emerald's voice trembled. She twisted desperately to reach Pure, but the chains held her fast.
"Sea, I'm sorry. I should've been more careful. It's my fault you..."
Pure sobbed uncontrollably. Thick teardrops splashed onto the floor, soaking it. Guilt crushed her—fear that her friend had come to rescue her and gotten caught instead. Her trembling hand reached for the frayed hem of Emerald's clothes, but it fell short.
"No, unnie. It's my fault for being weak. I couldn't stop them... Hic. Sob. I'm just glad you're alive."
Emerald shook her head, choking back tears. Genuine sorrow and relief shone in her green eyes.
I leaned against the doorframe, watching the scene. A heartbreaking reunion. The tearful friendship of two magical girls worrying for each other. Like a tragic drama unfolding.
Hmm... 'Makkokji. Is Emerald really hypnotized? Is that acting too?'
Her tears, expression, voice—nothing seemed off. If it was hypnosis-induced acting, Berial deserved a directing award, and she'd sweep Best Actress at the Oscars.
"Hell if I know... That bastard Berial's something else. Smells like it, but damn."
Makkokji muttered awkwardly.
"Normal hypnosis or brainwashing leaves some distortion, but she's too natural. Like it's her own will. Berial might've perfectly rewritten her memories, or twisted her values to implant a split personality."
'Doesn't matter. Emerald's not the main target anyway.'
Whether Emerald was real or fake wasn't important now. What mattered was she was here, and Pure was crumbling at the sight. Time to exploit it.
I stepped slowly into the room. Pure's sobs and Emerald's cries filled the air. She looked up, glaring at me. Her eyes were wet, but murderous intent blazed within.
"You bastard! Let Sea go! She hasn't done anything wrong!"
"Wrong? Well, if fighting demons counts as a crime, then yeah."
In truth, she might as well be Berial's lackey. I smirked and approached Emerald. She flinched at my approach.
"Alright, enough touching reunion. Down to business."
I grabbed Pure's arm and forced her to her feet, then chained her to a pillar in the corner. She struggled, but without her magic, she couldn't match my strength. Now she faced Emerald directly, bound upright.
"Sua. I'm going to train Emerald now."
I gripped Emerald's chin and shook it side to side. She groaned and tried to turn away, but I held firm.
"No! Don't!"
Sua screamed.
"Hmm... Fulfill one condition, and I'll stop the training."
Pure's eyes widened.
"C-Condition?"
"Yeah. A simple one."
I seized Emerald's torn top.
Riiip.
The fabric tore sharply, echoing in the room. Emerald's pale skin bared. She screamed and tried to curl up, but the chains prevented even that.
"No! Stop! Please!"
Pure wailed. She thrashed like she could snap the chain.
"No! No! What's the condition? I'll do anything! Just don't touch Sea!"
She begged, pride shattered, all for her friend.
"You take her place."
I said flatly.
"What?"
Pure's eyes froze.
"No way," she murmured blankly.
"No way? Then watch your friend become my plaything. No goddess blessing on her, it seems. Guess she wasn't a virgin before becoming a magical girl."
I ripped off the rest of Emerald's clothes. Her naked body lay exposed. Slim, toned figure. Modest breasts, narrow waist. The flawless skin unique to magical girls gleamed under the lights, marred only by healing red scars.
"Kyaaah!"
Emerald shrieked, head bowed in shame. Green hair veiled her face, but her trembling shoulders betrayed her.
"How's that? Appetizing, right?"
I cupped her breast. Soft, springy. Her nipple hardened under my fingers. I sneered at Pure.
"Can't let a body like this go to waste, huh?"
"I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you!"
As I groped, Emerald lifted her head and snarled. Her eyes reignited with that venomous glare from the factory.
"Kill me? Ha! Try it. If you can."
I pinched her nipple hard.
"Agh!"
A moan escaped her. I checked Pure's reaction. Her face was ashen, lips bitten raw.
"Decide, Sua. Magical Pure. You take the punishment, or watch your friend become my toy?"
I unbuckled my belt, unzipped, and pulled out my cock. Already hard. I stepped between Emerald's thighs. She tried to close her legs, but the ankle shackles made it futile.
"No! Stay away! You're disgusting!"
Emerald flailed.
"Hold still. I'll make you feel good soon enough."
I stroked her thigh, positioning slowly. My tip touched her center. Tears streamed as she whimpered.
"Hah... No..."
Then—
"You bastard! Touch me instead! Fuck me!"
Pure bellowed, her voice raw and tearing.
"Rape me instead! Please! Let Sea go!"
Lee Sua screamed through tears and snot. Pure sacrifice, hurling herself for her friend.
The faint light barrier around Pure's body wavered.
'Whoa, partner! Something's vanishing!'
Goddess Blessing. The absolute shield crumbled by her own will.
'The goddess blessing is fading! She's releasing the defense herself! Now! This is the chance!'
I pulled back from Emerald and approached Pure slowly. She looked up, meeting my gaze. Trembling with fear, but unflinching.
"Keep your promise. I'll take her place, so don't touch Sea."
She said through gritted teeth.
I gripped her chin. My fingers dug into her flesh. She squeezed her eyes shut.
'Sorry. No intention of keeping it.'
"Good. Deal."
My words rang false against my thoughts. My hand lifted the hem of her white dress slowly. Pale thighs emerged. Her body stiffened. But she didn't resist.
Emerald watched blankly. Her eyes shook. Lips quivered.
"Unnie."
A tiny voice. The room filled only with Pure's ragged breaths and the rustle of fabric.
I shoved her panties aside. Her secret place bared. A door still sealed—but ready to open.
"Ready?"
I asked. She nodded instead of answering. Tears trailed her cheeks.
I pressed between her legs. Warm, soft flesh. No electric shock. No light. Just her body heat welcoming me.
I hugged her waist, inhaling deeply. The scent of pure water from her.
"Here we go."
I murmured low, pushing in slowly.
"Ah... You bastard. I'll curse you forever. No..."
Where the goddess blessing vanished, only one woman's noble sacrifice remained.
And I embraced the villain's role, trampling it as I held her.
She doesn't know yet—this is the start of her salvation.
Yes. Curse me. Survive on that rage.
