Raiding the Black Market (1)
Yesterday was too hectic, so I couldn't do it, but now I should be able to.
"Alright! Who should I call? Come on out, Luna the Moon."
[Command: Luna the Moon confirmed.]
[Player Supporter: Summoning Luna the Moon.]
I wasn't sure if it'd work, but it did—thank goodness. Well, with the system window popping up, it had to, right?
A cluster of light appeared in front of me, gradually taking the shape of a person.

"Ppuupp, who called for meeyo?"
The bunny girl who appeared with that annoying voice... Huh?
"Hey, Luna! Why the hell are you dressed like that!?"
"Huh? I wondered who it was, and it's big broo."
"Never mind that—what's with the outfit!"
"My outfit is liike... Kyaaah! What is thiseyo!"
I clamped my hand over Luna's mouth as she checked her clothes and tried to scream. This wasn't my dorm room where I was alone—Yujin was in the next room over.
"Shh!"
"Why's my outfit like thiseyo?"
"That's exactly what I want to know."
Luna the Moon—her full name—is the Han Boreum AI Backup System. I created her as a player supporter, using my little sister Han Boreum's ego data backup per her dying wish from the real world. I dressed her as a bunny girl to match Boreum's tastes, but this wasn't just any bunny girl outfit. It was a reverse bunny girl getup, which was the problem.
"I liike it, thougheyo."
"...?"
I couldn't help but make a dumbfounded face at Luna saying she liked it. I'd always thought she was a weird one.
"Anyway, where are weeyo?"
"The Elan Symphonia world."
"Huh? It feels real... Is this another worldeyo?"
"More like game possession. This body's mine, so it's not exactly body possession—feels more like I got dropped into my own game world."
"Now that you mention it, big bro looks kinda youngeyo."
My current body was indeed rejuvenated. If it were my original, it'd be a worn-out wreck from exhaustion, smokes, and booze, but this one was in its prime.
"So, why'd you call meeyo?"
"To do this."
"Kyak! No way, you trying to assault your little siseyo?"
What the hell kind of rabbit bullshit was this kid spouting?
"A younger big bro might not be so bad, actuallyeyo."
"Shut up. It's not that, so drop the dirty thoughts."
"Tch, it's not? Then what is iteyo?"
"Let's use the Gacha System."
"Gacha System, huhheyo?"
The Gacha System—one of the BM systems I added to cover company maintenance and reserve funds. Pay points to Luna's summoned vending machine for random units or items.
"Got iteyo."
Luna snapped her fingers, and poof—a vending machine popped out of thin air.
"Oh right, I forgot to check my points first."
Each single pull costs 100 points, with a 10+1 system where the 11th is free after ten.
"Check points."
[Han Ijun's current points: 32,000]
"Whoa! That's a lot? But why so many?"
32,000 points meant I could hit pity once and still have 12,000 left. Normally, you'd only get like 2,000 at the start—where'd the extra 30,000 come from?
"Maybe from achievements?"
"Oh yeah, I vaguely remember seeing something, but I skimmed over it."
I was too busy with Eldina and Liv to pay attention, but yeah, there were achievement notifications.
"Check completed achievements."
[Completed Achievements]
— First Steps (Reward: 2,000 points)
— Humans Can Change (Reward: 10,000 points)
— Confirmation of Blind Love (Reward: 20,000 points)
"New ones to me, but yeah, that adds up."
Humans Can Change was probably Eldina, and Blind Love Liv.
"Let's start with a 10-pull."
"Just a 10-pull? Big bro's luck sucks, huhheyo."
"Shut it!"
[Paid 1,000 points to Random Gacha Vending Machine.]
[Conducting random pull.]
The machine rattled and started dispensing items.
— Delicious Apple x11
"?????"
"Ppuupp! Told ya your luck sucks! Ppuuppuppuup!"
I smacked Luna on the head for her obnoxious laughing.
"Ow! What was that forreyo!?"
"Penalty for mocking your sky-high bro."
"A scrub bro like you ain't no skyeyo!"
"Shut up and keep going."
And it bombed hard.
"10 pulls from pity, and this ain't just bad luck anymoreeyo."
"......"
So far, only apples, oranges, and carrots. What was this, a fruit and veg stand?
"One more to go."
"It's pity—don't look so smuggeyo."
"Just shut up already!"
"Mmph!"
I shoved a carrot from the machine into Luna's noisy mouth.
"Pity gooo!"
Hitting pity guarantees at least one Epic item. I fed points into the machine, praying for max-grade Outer God tier.
[Paid 1,000 points to Random Gacha Vending Machine.]
[Conducting random pull.]
"Crunch! Hoping too hard is big bro's jinx ruleeyo."
"Don't jinx it!"
— Apple x4
— Carrot x5
— Kiwi x2
"Called it! The real one's next."
[Pity conditions met.]
[Generating pity pull results.]
— Vigilante Robe x1
"Th-this is?!"
"Vigilante Robe? Isn't that just gear for changing looks and hiding identityeyo?"
"This is huge!"
"What's huge about iteyo?"
"It's perfect for my next plan."
◈ Equipment Type: Armor
◈ Stats on Equip: Defense +20 / Agility +5
◈ Effect 1. Perception Impairment: Makes your face appear blurry to others.
◈ Effect 2. Appearance Alteration: Makes you look like someone else to others.
◈ Effect 3. ???: Unreleased information
The effects make you wonder why it's Legendary, but item grades aren't just about effects—they reflect potential. This is Legendary because of the unreleased #3 effect.
"What plan?"
"Tomorrow's the weekend, perfect time to hit that place."
"That place... You mean thereeyo?"
"Yeah, the black market."
The black market—a massive underground market in Under Town, beneath Elan Town where Elan Academy sits. True to its name, most goods traded there aren't exactly clean.
"Specifically, I'm robbing the Auction House. Timing's right—the item's up tomorrow."
"Got bold while I wasn't lookingeyo. Robbing an auction?"
The Auction House, Under Town's infamous noble playground. I need one item there—and pocket some cash while I'm at it.
"Whoa... Big bro's face is all greed right now, you knoweyo?"
"Listen up, Luna. Money is always right."
"Whatever. Call if you need me againeyo."
Snap! She turned back into light motes and vanished.
"Time to clean out that auction, then."
"Um, Esil?"
"What?"
"You still not full?"
"'Bout 20%."
"T-twenty percent... Haha..."
I was at a restaurant in Elan Town with Esil Rubr. Headed to the auction this morning, but heard today's theme was couples or pairs only, so I bailed. Couldn't take Luna—outfit's unchangeable—and who else? Settled on Esil.
Winning her over is easy: feed her or let her sleep easy. Either works like a charm.
"So, like I said, come to the auction with me."
"Got it. But Auction House needs dress code. Masks too."
"I know. Prepared already."
I handed her the bag beside me. She checked it, tilted her head, and said:
"Don't like it. Refund this, I'll pick new clothes."
"I picked it specially... Fine."
Only after she stuffed herself could we hit the clothing store.
And how'd a broke guy like me cover the bill? Lies fix everything!
