A Night in the Motel with Another Woman (2)
“T-Team Leader...?!”
I practically screamed, shooting upright in bed. At the sound of my voice, she groaned, furrowing her brow before slowly opening her eyes.
“...Ah, my head...”
She rubbed her eyes and sat up, her full breasts blatantly exposed in their black lace bra. I couldn’t bring myself to look and hastily turned my head away.
“T-Team Leader! What the hell happened? Why are we together like this...?”
“...You got way too drunk yesterday, Do-hyun.”
She yawned, her voice still thick with sleep.
“I didn’t know your address, and the last train was gone. So I had no choice but to grab a room at the motel nearby.”
Motel. The word hit me like a punch to the head. A wave of self-loathing crashed over me. Getting so wasted I burdened my Team Leader like this...
“Ah... I got drunk and... D-did I do anything weird...?”
I stammered, praying nothing had happened. Please, God, let nothing have happened.
She let out a heavy sigh, as if my question was ridiculous.
“Weird? What weird stuff? You think I jumped a drunk guy like you or something?”
Her voice snapped back to its usual icy tone. I waved my hands frantically.
“N-no, that’s not it! I was just worried I might’ve messed up...”
“Nothing like that happened, so don’t worry. We just slept.”
Her firm words brought a sigh of relief, but one question still gnawed at me.
“But... why are you just in your underwear...?”
I couldn’t look at her, staring at the floor instead. She answered casually, like it was nothing.
“I always sleep like this.”
Damn it. She should’ve gotten two rooms, or at least a twin-bed one. Why the hell a single bed...
My mind tangled into knots. Oh, right—Sis!
I finally snapped to my senses and grabbed my phone from the table. Dozens of missed calls and texts. My heart plummeted.
I rushed to dial my wife, but the Team Leader stopped my hand.
“What are you doing?”
“I need to call Sis... I mean, my wife...”
“Since we’re already in this mess, just take the day off. Both of us.”
She said it nonchalantly, getting out of bed and starting to gather her scattered clothes. I stared blankly at her back—her slim waist, round and firm ass, then the skirt sliding over it.
“Take the day off, and let’s grab some hangover soup. My stomach’s killing me.”
“Y-yes...? Take the day off?”
“I’ll handle calling the office, so get ready to head out.”
She was already fully dressed, urging me on. With no choice, I followed her out, and we headed to a nearby sundae guk restaurant.
A steaming pot bubbled in front of me, but I couldn’t tell if the rice was going in my mouth or my nose. I was losing my mind.
Every time I reached for my phone to call my wife, the Team Leader chimed in with perfect timing.
“More pickled radish?”
“No, I’m good.”
“No daenggi?”
“Ah... Sure.”
Her constant interruptions left me fidgeting. Noticing, she asked,
“What’s wrong? Not to your taste?”
“No! It’s great.”
I shoveled a spoonful of soup in a panic. She watched me intently, then dropped a bomb.
“By the way, your drunk habits are something else...”
“M-my... drunk habits...?”
My heart sank.
She gave a strange smile.
“You don’t remember anything from last night?”
“...Yeah. Honestly... nothing after leaving the barbecue place...”
She nodded. “I see.”
Then, casually, she dropped the real bomb.
“So you don’t remember clinging to me, groping my body?”
“What...?!”
I nearly dropped my spoon. Me? Groping the Team Leader?
Undeterred by my shock, she continued flatly.
“Whatever. I bought the meal, and you were drunk. No big deal.”
Hah... I hung my head in shame. How could I have done something so insane?
But she spoke again.
“Honestly... even at the motel, you... Never mind.”
“What... what is it...?”
I begged. She pretended to hesitate, sighed, and said,
“Well... it was a bit tough. You kept hugging me. And I’m not your wife, but you acted like I was, trying to kiss me. Even...”
She trailed off. I didn’t need to hear more. I slammed my head toward the table.
“I’m sorry! Team Leader, I’m so sorry! I committed a mortal sin!”
I groveled. My mind went blank.
“It’s fine.”
Surprisingly calm, she added,
“A young guy full of vigor can act up on booze.”
I looked up at her. She was forgiving this? Clear sexual harassment, and she...
Her generosity made the icy Team Leader seem angelic.
“Thank you... And really, sorry again, Team Leader.”
“Enough apologizing.”
She crunched on a piece of pickled radish, then cautiously made a new proposal.
“If you’re that sorry... want to go somewhere with me this weekend?”
“Huh? Where...?”
Caught off guard, I blinked. She averted her gaze slightly.
“Got two musical tickets through a friend. Was supposed to go with her, but she canceled.”
She glanced at me.
“Come with me?”
“Ah... well...”
Weekends are for my wife. I scrambled for a polite refusal.
But she preempted me, reading my mind.
“It’s one I’ve always wanted to see... Going alone feels lame. Really been dying to catch it...”
Her voice dripped disappointment and regret—vulnerable, unlike her usual self.
Damn. Guilt from last night mixed with not wanting to let her down.
I couldn’t say no.
“...Okay. I’ll go with you.”
“Really?”
Her face lit up. I forced a bitter smile.
“When?”
“Next weekend. Saturday evening.”
“Got it... I’ll make time.”
And just like that, I made another promise. What the hell do I tell Sis? My head already hurt.
...
My fingers trembled entering the door code. Click—the door opened, and my heart dropped to my stomach.
The apartment was dark. And in that darkness, my wife waited—like a statue, right by the entrance.
“Honey, you’re finally back?”
Her voice was soft as ever, but the chill in it sent shivers down my spine. I couldn’t meet her eyes, bowing my head.
“S-Sis...”
“Where were you? Why no calls all night?”
She stepped closer. I wanted to back away, but the door blocked me.
“Do you know how worried I was? Be honest. This isn’t something we can just brush off.”
Her tone scolded, but calm. That scared me more.
I babbled excuses.
“Well... last night at work... dinner with the Team Leader, drank too much...”
Before I finished, she was in my face. Sniff sniff. She smelled my clothes—last night’s booze, morning sundae guk.
But she zeroed in on something else. Her eyes narrowed.
“...Perfume.”
My heart stopped. The Team Leader’s scent—from clinging to her last night, thick from this morning.
“Woman’s perfume, honey.”
She stared coldly, eyes blazing with anger and betrayal.
“Were you... with another woman?”
“N-no! Sis, it’s not...!”
“Then what’s this smell?!”
Her voice rose. Then her eyes shook with despair.
“Is this... revenge? Because of what I did before? Are you doing the same?”
“No, Sis! Misunderstanding! It’s really not!”
My desperate pleas didn’t faze her. If anything, she grew icier.
“No contact all night, come home morning after—with another woman’s perfume soaked in.”
She listed facts coldly. Her gaze pierced me; I looked away.
Then the killer line.
“And if you just got back now... you must’ve spent the night at a motel together?”
It stabbed like a dagger. Dead on. Images of sharing a room with the Team Leader flashed.
I couldn’t speak, lips flapping uselessly.
“Th-that’s...”
My lame reaction wiped expression from her face. The sweet, gentle wife vanished—replaced by an ice-cold glare.
“Fine. No need to hear more.”
She murmured low, laced with deep disappointment and rage.
“This isn’t getting swept under the rug, honey.”
Her chilling call made me flinch.
“Brace yourself today.”
She snatched my wrist roughly.
“Ack...!”
Her grip was shockingly strong—like a cold shackle, not the soft hand I knew.
“S-Sis?!”
She dragged me toward the bedroom without a word. I never knew she had this strength—she always handled me like glass. I was helpless, stumbling after.
“Sis, wait, let’s talk...! Hear me out!”
My pleas fell on deaf ears. Bang! The bedroom door flew open; I was shoved inside. Then, a heavy thud as it slammed shut behind me.
