The Reluctant Riverside Date
When Seoyeon emerges from the shower, Section Chief Park is already changed into casual clothes, sitting on the sofa and waiting for her.
"All washed up? Then get dressed. Get ready to go out."
At his words, Seoyeon looks at him with a puzzled expression. "Where... are we going?"
"There's a nice riverside walkway right nearby. The weather's great—let's take a short stroll."
Seoyeon recoils in horror. She doesn't hide her contemptuous expression as she says, "No. I just want to go home."
The thought of being alone with this man—doing something like a stroll that couples might do—is revolting even to imagine. And she's terrified that someone might recognize her if they go out. She's given him her body, but she has no desire to play the role of his lover.
Section Chief Park chuckles at her refusal. "This is outside Seoul city limits—barely any people around. Put on a mask, and no one will recognize you. What's there to worry about?"
He leans back on the sofa, teasing her with a sly grin. "Besides... if we stay cooped up in this room, the only thing we'll have to do is fuck, right? Unless... you want to go again right now?"
"That's not it!" Seoyeon snaps back in a small voice laced with irritation. "Fine. I'll go. Happy now?"
With no choice, she reluctantly puts her own clothes back on—the ones she'd worn earlier. They leave the officetel and head to the riverside walkway.
Just as Park said, even on a weekend afternoon, the path is surprisingly deserted. He starts walking and naturally offers her his arm. "Come on, link arms."
When Seoyeon hesitates, he says in a low voice, "Do as you're told."
With no choice, she slips her arm through his thick one, walking side by side like lovers. The riverside is filled with cool breezes and expansive views. Though the man beside her is utterly repulsive, after hours trapped in that room enduring his lust, stepping into this fresh, open space makes Seoyeon's mind ease a little without her realizing it.
Park notices her expression soften from its initial robotic blankness. "Feels good to be out, doesn't it?"
"Whatever!" Seoyeon replies curtly, like a sulky child.
It's not a positive response, but seeing her shift from mechanical detachment to something with real emotion satisfies him, and he smiles.
After their short stroll, on the way back to the officetel, Park stops by a convenience store across the street. "I'll grab something and come up. You go ahead."
As Park disappears into the store, Seoyeon heads up to the officetel alone. The moment the door clicks shut, a powerful impulse to run seizes her in the split-second silence. What if she grabbed her bag and bolted from the building right now?
But the thought fades quickly. Running away from here wouldn't free her from Park's grasp forever. It would only stoke his rage further.
In the end, she collapses onto the sofa like someone who's given up everything, utterly listless.
Not long after, the sound of the door lock disengaging echoes, and Park returns. He's carrying a convenience store bag, and he casually unpacks its contents onto the living room table: a few cold cans of beer, garishly colored snacks, sausages, instant tteokbokki, and the like.
Seoyeon frowns at the junk food spilling messily across the table. Having lived as an idol since childhood, she'd consciously avoided such stimulating junk for years. Even now, post-retirement with no need for strict dieting, she still saw convenience store fare as unhealthy trash. She'd never bought it with her own money, let alone eaten it.
Park cracks open a can of beer and sets it in front of her. "Try it once. This stuff's better than you think."
Seoyeon still despises him, but whether from the recent stroll or simple resignation that resistance is futile, her mind feels lighter. She silently picks up the sausage he'd offered.
The moment she bites into it, a salty, greasy, intense flavor assaults her tongue. It's worlds apart from the healthy food she always ate. And surprisingly... pretty good.
Park catches the subtle shift in her expression and smiles in satisfaction.
The cool night breeze blowing through the window, a faint sense of liberation, and Park's irresistible command—they all conspire together. Seoyeon lifts the beer can and takes a sip. The cold, fizzy crispness slides down her throat, giving her the illusion that it washes away the unpleasant mood that's weighed on her all day.
As if entranced, she drains the can, and Park silently opens a fresh one and places it before her. She doesn't refuse.
How much time passes? Empty cans litter the table chaotically. A light drunken flush colors her cheeks.
Park eyes the empty beer cans and grins slyly. "Ah~ too bad our Seoyeon has to leave early tomorrow morning."
Her judgment already clouded by alcohol, Seoyeon giggles at his lame quip. "Why would I sleep here?"
"Hey, I'm serious." Park chuckles playfully, then stands and heads to the sofa.
He sits down, stares straight at Seoyeon, and slowly unbuckles his belt. Then he pulls out his massive cock.
