The Hypnosis App Was Fake
"Haa... M-Master, h-how are you feeling?"
Ska Rate asked while kneading my feet with her soft little hands. I gave an awkward smile and nodded, which she took as a sign of relief. A beaming smile spread across her face as she poured even more effort into the foot massage.
"Nngh, hnngh... M-Master's big, thick, sturdy feet... I'm so happy I get to serve these feet, Master..."
Her eyes sparkled with genuine-seeming emotion as she threw herself into the task. Looking down at her from above, my gaze fell on the sleek curve of her waist wrapped in black latex. Compared to her massive breasts and ass, that waist was impossibly slim. Well, not impossibly slim—it was just that her chest and hips were so disproportionately huge.
Her flowing red hair cascaded over the black latex clinging to her pale skin. Sure, it looked fancy calling it "latex," but really, it was just skin-tight black spandex. Super thin spandex at that. The fabric highlighted every extreme curve and dip of her perfect post-childbirth figure without mercy. The high-cut design around her waist and thighs made it look like something straight out of an adult video, yet Ska Rate showed it off to me without a hint of shame, utterly focused on the massage.
Squeeze. Press. Squeeze.
Her fingers dug gently into my soles, radiating pure devotion. Anyone seeing her like this—in that slutty spandex—would swear her mind was under control. No woman with any sense of decency or propriety would proudly wear something so trashy unless her brain was hijacked. What else could explain our guild's strongest awakener—the S-rank Ska Rate, who I'd normally have to beg just to look up at—joyfully serving a lowly grunt like me?
I knew that all too well, which was why I'd so firmly believed the app was real.
Fuck.
What the hell was going on here, seriously?
I pulled out my smartphone and opened the app I'd been gleefully using for the past six months.
The screen blinked slowly in garish pink and purple. That utterly depraved slogan sat smack in the center. The first time I'd seen it, it'd made me grimace at how sleazy it was. But after six months, it barely registered anymore.
The app had burrowed deep into my once-wholesome life. And the deeper it went, the greater my sense of betrayal now.
I closed my beloved hypnosis app and launched the knockoff version I'd stumbled across while surfing the web—one designed for couples into consensual hypnosis roleplay.
Surprisingly easy to find—pure luck, really. It was the kind of app that demanded mutual consent; no way it'd work otherwise. But when I opened it, the screen matched my app perfectly: the same blend of purple and pink. The only difference? No "S-Rank+ Awakeners Exclusive" or "Turns haughty bitches into meat toilets in one shot!" Just a simple "Hypnosis App for Women."
Whatever. That wasn't the point.
I let out a satisfied sigh, loud enough for Ska Rate to hear clearly. It was my signal to end the massage.
But she ignored it, fixated on my feet. Today, of all days, I didn't want to talk to her any more than necessary.
To stop her, I'd have to speak up.
"O-Okay, that's enough. You can stop now, Ska... Ska Rate."
At my command, she finally halted. Clasping her hands demurely without even thinking to wash them after rubbing my bare feet raw—anyone would've bought the hypnosis act hook, line, and sinker.
As I inwardly groaned at her flawless performance, a polite yet icy voice slipped from her lips.
"Master, did you say Ska Rate? Call me Ska, like always?"
Her mouth smiled, but her eyes were frozen cold—no spark of light in them. Before I knew it, I was blurting excuses.
"Huh? B-But you said before that if a nobody like me called you by your first name, people would talk, so I should use your full name—"
My words came out not in the stern tone of a master, but in the whiny voice of cowardly Paster. I caught myself mid-sentence, but too late—her lips twitched. That telltale sign of her anger.
I'd known her long enough to spot it.
"Pardon? Sorry, I don't follow. Could you say that again, Master?"
I scrambled to reclaim my dignity, slipping back into character.
"Ah, no—it's nothing, Ska. Yeah... Calling the most beautiful Ska—especially when looking down on her—by her full name would be ridiculous. My mistake."
Only then did a faint, satisfied smile grace her lips.
Fuck... Why? How the hell did things end up like this?
If I'd still believed the app was real, none of this would've happened. Under its control, Ska Rate was a puppet who obeyed my every word without question.
But now that I knew it was fake—and she was just acting—I couldn't treat her casually anymore. My body betrayed me, submitting instinctively.
Anyway, now that I knew the truth, I had zero desire to stay cooped up alone with her.
"Ska, look over here for a sec."
I stroked her hair with the hand that had massaged my feet—making her flinch—then shoved the knockoff app in her face.
The instant she saw it, she froze, hand on her head. The light drained from her eyes, leaving no trace of reason.
Just from that pose, you'd swear she was hypnotized. Classic Ska Rate—perfect at everything, even acting.
But since she'd reacted to a cheap internet freebie—not my app—it proved she was fully aware. Whatever game she was playing, I didn't care. Priority one: get her out of my room.
I draped her usual thick long coat over the black spandex she wore for outings, then issued the command.
"Go back to your room, sleep deeply, and when you wake up, forget everything that happened here."
"Yes, Master..."
She replied in a flat, emotionless tone and left the room.
Only after the door clicked shut and five full minutes passed could I finally exhale the breath I'd been holding.
"Haaaah... My heart was gonna fucking explode..."
Strength drained from my body as I collapsed onto the bed. I closed the knockoff app and reopened the real one.
That familiar, trashy slogan stared back at me. For half a year, I'd taken it at face value. Believed it utterly—and done everything because of it.
"The hypnosis app was fake... What the actual fuck is going on?"
Thinking back on everything I'd done since getting this app, I genuinely wanted to run away.
