Chapter 21
"...You're truly the worst."
Han Sua muttered in a self-mocking tone.
"The absolute worst villain."
"If you're only realizing that now, aren't you a bit slow? And anyway, we're both villains here—what's with the sudden surprise?"
With the confirmation done, I had no more business with Han Sua. I casually beckoned her with a hand.
"Go on back, Han Sua. Fulfill your duties as a villain properly. It shouldn't be that hard, right?"
"..."
"Your face looks like death warmed over, though. Why not smile a little? Otherwise, what's the point of coming here to relax?"
Snap!
With a flick of my fingers, her lips immediately curved upward. Only after seeing Han Sua's beaming smile did I nod in satisfaction. Better than slinking back with a long face and stirring up unnecessary rumors.
"Go."
"...Yeah."
Han Sua turned on her heel and vanished, a bright smile plastered on her face.
Even after she left, I stayed lost in thought for a long while.
Before my regression, during the internship raid incident. Back then, Han Sua had tried to stab the heroes in the back amid the chaos, only to get counterattacked and killed. Her identity was exposed afterward.
So, to save her this time, I should've told her not to join the raid and just stay put.
But the order I gave her was the exact opposite.
I had no choice. I needed to figure out the source of this nagging unease I felt every time I dealt with Han Sua.
If she really was just a villain, I could use her like a pawn and discard her when she outlived her usefulness.
But if...
"...Hah."
I let out a sigh and stood, following after the departed Han Sua.
Now it begins.
A-rank 33rd hero, Peerless. One of the most spotlighted heroes in the media right now. The patrol district she oversaw had recorded the nation's lowest crime rate for six straight years. Even the most vicious villains wouldn't dare set foot where her eyes could reach.
And lately, she'd caught the scent of massive, shady money flows and was tracking them down. She was dead certain some big fish were involved.
So, nailing that case would've made her promotion to S-rank next year a done deal.
She was finally about to seize that long-dreamed moment.
Or so it should have been.
"...What the hell is this?"
Peerless stood blankly in front of the control room, muttering to herself.
Weee-ooh, weee-ooh...!
The alarm sirens blared relentlessly, piercing her eardrums. The map of S City filling the screens was dotted with dozens of red blips—simultaneous villain raids.
An unprecedented large-scale assault.
"These bastards...!"
"Surveillance drones have arrived on site! Streaming footage now!"
The cityscape unfolded on the screens. Villains were rampaging everywhere, committing acts of destruction.
In the rapidly cycling footage, Peerless suddenly froze.
"Hold it! Freeze that frame!"
She gasped in shock. She couldn't miss that familiar silhouette.
The villain blasting laser beams in all directions was the one she'd personally lopped an arm off of years ago, as punishment. None other than S-rank villain Stingray, one of Korea's top heavyweights.
—Where are you, Peerless! Come out! This time, I'll settle the score from last time!
"That fucker... I should've captured him back then no matter what...!"
Peerless ground her teeth, eyes glued to the screen.
"Requests for backup to other offices?"
"All denied! Simultaneous raids breaking out nearby too...!"
"Peerless! Police are flooding us with support requests! We need orders now!"
The operators' desperate cries echoed. Peerless scanned the gathered crowd—office staff and trainee heroes dispatched from Yoram Academy, all anxiously awaiting her lead.
Seeing their earnestness steadied her instead.
A hero of courage couldn't falter at something like this. With a deep breath, she flashed a grin and bellowed,
"Chicks! Your big debut's here—get those nerves steeled!"
Her casual words shattered the room's tension. She began issuing crisp orders.
"I'll handle Stingray myself! Rest of you, teams of three—head to your zones! Non-combatants, evacuate to shelters with Sleeping Bubble! Just follow your training, and you'll be fine!"
As she assigned sectors and protocols, a thought struck her.
"And the nursery..."
Not enough bodies for everything—tough call, especially when every bit of manpower counted.
Peerless's eyes locked on someone. Psyche. One of the next-gen prospects turning heads. Tense and uneasy now, but throughout training, she'd shown exemplary conduct and true hero spirit.
Decision made, Peerless called her out in a slightly subdued voice.
"...Psyche, you're on it."
"Huh?"
Her startled reply hung, but there was no time. Confirming heroes' launch and civilians' evac, Peerless donned her suit and jetpack, rocketing into the sky.
Thud!
She landed heroically at the scene, scanning sharply.
"Uahaha! Peerless! Finally crawled out, huh!"
A familiar, repulsive laugh rang out. She tensed instantly.
"Thought you'd run scared or something!"
S-rank villain Stingray grinned ferociously in welcome.
"A hero doesn't fear scum like you."
Peerless shot back coolly.
"Stingray. What gives you the balls for this terror bullshit? Think you'll escape scot-free?"
"You wouldn't get it. The plans laid out for us."
He spread his arms wide, baring yellowed teeth.
"The age of villains is coming. Then you hypocrites'll grovel at our feet."
"Delusions. Guess losing that arm scrambled your brains."
Dismissing him, Peerless drew her signature blade.
"This time, you're mine, Stingray. You can't beat me. Time for a flashback to five years ago."
Peerless—true to her name, her Authority grew stronger with courage. No reason to fear a foe she'd beaten before.
Her victory was all but assured.
"Think so?"
But Stingray's smug ease grated on her.
He just crossed his arms, staring her down.
Then he pointed.
"Look over there first."
"Hah, what kinda trick is—...this...?"
Scoffing as she turned, Peerless trailed off blankly.
A feed played from his direction—a shelter interior, familiar to her.
But the evacuees were bound, kneeling, faces twisted in terror.
"H-how the...!"
"Kehhehe, now we're on equal footing, eh?"
Stingray's leisurely voice came from behind her shock. He grinned wider, yellow teeth flashing.
"Shall we restart our chat?"
"Ahem, perfect."
Whirr...
Sleeping Bubble—no, D-rank villain Mimic Girl—nodded in satisfaction as the camera spun.
She'd just sent the hostage capture footage to Stingray.
Her true skin sloughed off, dripping to the floor. The hostages screamed at the new face emerging beneath.
"Kyaa, kyaack...!"
"W-what the hell is that...!"
"Shut it? Or die."
Back to her real self, she snarled coldly. The raw killing intent sealed their lips.
"Sob... hic... "
"Sniff..."
Faint whimpers lingered, but she just stretched indifferently. Guarding hostages was boring busywork.
Sure, her combat sucked compared to her Authority, but still.
"...What's the goal here?"
"Huh?"
A voice piped up. Defiant even after the warning. Mimic Girl twisted into a grin.
Perfect—boredom cured. Make an example: toy with 'em, then kill.
Arm? Leg? Eyes? All of it? Sweet screams incoming.
Turning eagerly—
"Ah..."
A gasp escaped her. Her cheeks flushed crimson.
Standing defiantly, glaring: a tall, handsome male student. She knew him well.
"You...?"
"I asked your purpose! Why the hell are you—!"
His voice trembled, but the courage shone through. Speaking for the hostages?
Normally, she'd pop his head for the insolence.
But now? Kinda hot.
Her legs weakened; she rubbed her thighs, struggling to stay upright.
"Hah... ngh..."
The damp heat between them? No shame—just excited swallows.
Mimic Girl recalled the past days' torment.
"Haa... ha..."
So damn hard. His bright smiles, sweet compliments, shoulder pats for her "hard work." Ecstatic temptation—she'd even considered defecting to the heroes.
But now, an easier way.
"Answer me! Why the—ack!"
"Kyaaak...!"
"W-what do we do...!"
Unable to hold back, she grabbed his arm and dragged him out. Hostage screams? Ignore.
'Quick fun's fine. Powerless anyway.'
No powerless human resists a superhuman.
Thump!
"Ugh...!"
She shoved him into a dim corner room.
"Haa... haa..."
Wiping drool, she muttered desperately.
"You seduced me... got it? You fucking tease... wagging that tail like that..."
"W-what're you—"
"Shut up! Shutthefuckup! How many panties I changed at work 'cause of you... you perv fuck... ngh... haa..."
Electric tingles raced through her core. Imagination alone was this good—what came next? Unthinkable bliss.
"...What happened to the real Sleeping Bubble?"
His calm question. But she caught the faint fear in his eyes.
Finally clued in. Too late.
"Dunno. Locked up somewhere. Worst case, already dead."
Casual shrug, then she straddled him with a thud.
His firm thighs under her—she ground softly, lost.
No longer a villain—just a bitch in heat.
"...Are you a villain?"
"Ngh, yeah. Mimic Girl. D-rank."
Even F-ranks could rip civilians barehanded. Supers vs. norms? Vast gap.
D-rank? Disaster-level. And she was top-tier among them.
"D-rank...?"
"Hehe, s'fine... no need to freak, haa... big sis'll show ya somethin' nice..."
His voice held a subtle edge. But horned-up Mimic Girl didn't notice, pressing closer.
Straddled, hands on his chest for leverage. From above, perfect view of his face.
At climax, rip it off and kiss...
"Ah, ah..."
She couldn't hold sanity. About to tear his shirt—
"Sigh..."
A deep, disappointed sigh.
She stared again. No fear—just dry, disinterested eyes.
He spoke lowly.
"Wasted time. On a mere D-rank goon..."
"D-rank... goon...?"
She echoed blankly. No norm says that.
Gradual rage flooded her mind.
Plan change: rip limbs and head, play with the rest.
"You fucking scum, who the hell do you think—!"
Snap!
A finger-flick sound. Her body froze.
"Huh?"
Panicked mutter. Limbs wouldn't budge, despite straining. Like control stolen.
"Hey."
A heavy, oppressive command.
"Get off."
