The 'Older Sister' Who Wants to Sleep Beside Her Brother
The room was freezing. I crawled out from under the covers, rubbing my sleepy eyes, and immediately went looking for my older sister.
“Noona.”
“Mm, yeah?”
She answered in a languid voice, letting out a massive yawn.
“Huuuuh, haaam⋯.”
‘Gasp.’
I had opened my eyes fully as I stepped out, but I swallowed a sharp breath. It was because of my sister’s armpits.
“No, Noona⋯.”
She was stretching in front of the computer, and because she wasn’t wearing anything, her smooth, bare underarms were on full display.
Her armpits were a soft, flushed crimson. On top of that, as she pushed her chest out, her pink nipples poked out prominently. Her body flowed in a perfect curve from her large, voluptuous breasts down to her cinched-in waist.
‘Noona, you’re way too lewd.’
My heart began to pound, and blood rushed straight to my crotch.
‘And Dami is⋯.’
She was leaning against the wall, wrapped in a blanket. She glanced at me, then looked back at her phone, her cheeks flushing for a split second.
‘My younger sister has a bob cut, and my older sister has a ponytail⋯.’
Watching my sister stretch until her nipples were practically popping out, I moved quickly before I could get a full erection and sat down on the electric heating pad.
It was near Yang Dami.
“Ughhh.”
The chill creeping up from the walls made my teeth chatter, and I hugged my body tight. Yang Dami glared at me.
“⋯Are you cold?”
“Ughhh.”
As I sniffled and shivered, Yang Dami tossed the blanket she had been using over to me.
“Jeez, you’re so restless. Just cover yourself with this.”
“H-hey, thanks.”
I was surprised. She’d been grumbling earlier when I said I came back because I wanted to see her.
While we were talking, Yang Dahee, who had been turned away, laughed and said, “So, why did you call for me?”
“My room is freezing. Did you not turn on the boiler?”
“No? I did⋯.”
She tilted her head, not even bothering to cover her chest. I kept my head down, rubbing my arms as I spoke.
“It’s way too cold for that. Huuu⋯.”
“Hmm, I guess it does feel a bit chilly? I’ll go check on it, so just wait a second.”
Yang Dahee stopped what she was doing and stood up. As she turned her back to us and headed toward the veranda, her buttocks swayed from side to side.
‘Why are they so big⋯.’
My jaw dropped at the deep, defined cleft of her buttocks.
It was incredible that a sister like this had never even had a boyfriend. If we weren’t siblings, I would have made a move on her myself.
While I was licking my lips, I heard a noise from the veranda.
Thump-thump-thump-
It was a familiar sound. The boiler was running, but it sounded like something was catching.
Yang Dami raised her eyebrows, looked at me, and let out a snicker.
“Heh, sounds like Yang Dajun’s brain trying to work.”
‘?’
What is that supposed to mean? Her lips curled up, which didn’t fit her cold impression, but I just ignored it. Instead, I narrowed my eyes and focused on the sound of the boiler.
Thump-thump-thump-thump.
‘Did she fix it?’
I asked Yang Dahee as she closed the door to come back in.
“Noona, is it working now?”
“I think so⋯ wait, no, it stopped.”
The boiler stopped after only a few seconds, and Yang Dahee went back into the veranda.
Thump. Thump-thump.
The boiler kept repeating the cycle of running for a bit and then stopping.
‘Looks like there’s a problem.’
Yang Dahee returned, shaking her head. It wasn’t intentional, but her breasts bounced with every step she took.
‘Oh man⋯ should I tell her?’
They were bouncing up and down like beach balls, so I had to turn my gaze away. Yang Dahee leaned her face right in front of mine and tilted her head.
“Is there something over there?”
“No⋯.”
“Then why do you keep looking away?”
This time, she crouched down right in front of me. My heart felt like it was going to burst from the extreme proximity.
Yang Dami, who had been silently rubbing her arms nearby, suddenly chimed in when she heard the question about where I was looking.
“She said he left his brain over there.”
“What does that mean?”
“You don’t need to know, Noona⋯.”
She kept making weird jokes. She was acting out of character, and I didn’t want to encourage her by reacting, so I intentionally didn’t reply.
I shook my head at Yang Dami, who was giggling to herself, and pulled the blanket back over me.
More importantly, my ‘Noona’ was crouching right in front of me with her chest exposed, her feminine body on full display.
I couldn’t look down, so I stared straight at her face and said, “⋯Is the boiler broken?”
“Seems like it. It won’t stay on.”
“Again? But it’s so cold⋯.”
Noona shrugged her shoulders. Yang Dami, who was on her phone nearby, clicked her tongue.
“Tsk, had to break in the middle of winter, of all times.”
“Tell me about it. I’ll have to call a repair service tomorrow.”
Yang Dahee clicked her tongue with an annoyed expression and sat down in front of the computer. After clicking around for a bit, she quickly found a repair company.
“Dajun, here’s the phone number.”
“Should I call them?”
“I have work tomorrow. Call them when you’re with Dami.”
‘I wonder if she’ll even stop nagging me long enough to let me.’
Yang Dami had already whipped her head away from me. But she didn’t say anything, which was different from usual.
“⋯”
She glanced at me for a second before turning away again, but for some reason, her face looked flushed. I didn’t know what she was thinking, but it was probably better not to get my hopes up.
‘Well, I guess I’ll have to call Yurim then.’
If Yang Dami wasn’t going to be home, it would be a perfect opportunity to get some alone time. I felt a little flutter of excitement, hoping tomorrow would come quickly.
‘⋯For now, I need to figure out where to sleep. My room is way too cold.’
I brought my bedding from my room and hovered near Yang Dahee, saying, “Noona, I’m going to sleep here.”
Then, I tried to find an empty spot in the corner near the veranda. It was the spot where the cold draft was seeping in.
“You’re sleeping there?”
“Ah, what is it, Yang Dajun? Get lost.”
As I tried to lay out my bedding, Yang Dami intervened, grabbing the blanket and holding on for dear life. She started making a fuss, saying it was her spot and telling me to go somewhere else.
She snapped at me with a sharp voice and ended up snatching the blanket away.
“Yang Dajun, I told you to go away! I’m the one who’s going to sleep in the cool spot.”
“Why are you taking my blanket⋯.”
“Jeez, just cover yourself with this.”
Yang Dami hugged my blanket tight and tossed her own at me instead. It was much thicker and warmer than mine.
‘Is she that hot?’
I tilted my head, standing there blankly with my younger sister’s blanket.
“Dajun.”
“Yeah, Noona?”
“Sleep next to Noona. It’s warm if you turn this on.”
Yang Dahee pointed to the electric heating pad on the floor and led me toward her side.
“Is that okay?”
“What’s the problem? You sleep with Dami, too.”
I suppose that was true; they were already using it together, so there was no reason one more person couldn’t join. Unable to resist her subtle gaze, I followed where she pulled me and laid out my spot right next to her.
*
Yang Dahee in the middle. Yang Dami and I on either side.
We went to bed with Noona between us.
“If you’re cold, I’ll give you some of my blanket, too.”
“I’m warm.”
“Heh, alright then. Make sure you stay covered up.”
Yang Dahee pulled the blanket up and patted me. She tucked it in to make sure no cold air got in, and when I looked at her face, the corners of her mouth were curled up.
“Noona, goodnight.”
“Yeah. You two, goodnight.”
“Goodnight.”
After we exchanged goodnights, Yang Dahee turned off the light. The room went dark with a click.
I lay there still, but it wasn’t long before I heard rustling from beside me.
Rustle.
It was the sound of Noona’s naked skin brushing against the blanket.
‘I’m actually sleeping with women.’
It was a novel experience, and my heart was pounding. I felt like I was floating even though I was lying down. I had my eyes closed, but the fact that Yang Dahee was right next to me kept drifting through my mind.
‘Should I try counting sheep⋯?’
I pictured a meadow with sheep jumping over a fence in my head.
One sheep.
Two sheep.
Three sheep.
‘Hmm⋯.’
It wasn’t working. Saying “sheep, sheep, sheep” just made me think of our names, and I felt unnecessarily on edge.
‘I can’t fall asleep now that I’m actually lying down.’
Is Noona asleep? I’m the only one tossing and turning with my eyes wide open.
I shifted my body and turned to face Yang Dahee.
“Noona, are you asleep?”
I whispered softly.
There was no answer, so I was about to call out again. Just then, the blanket rustled, and I heard a low, hushed voice.
“Nooo⋯.”
“Aren’t you sleepy?”
When I whispered in a low voice, Yang Dahee opened her eyes and looked toward me.
Her red eyes sparkled in the moonlight pouring through the window.
I met Yang Dahee’s gaze.
“Dajun, can’t you sleep?”
“Yeah⋯.”
“Heh, aren’t you tired? You walked around a lot today.”
She spoke with her eyes crinkling softly, and she looked just like the moon hanging outside.
I fell into thought, retracing the events of the day.
‘That didn’t feel like the usual Yang Dajun.’
Yesterday and today, I acted differently than the usual ‘Yang Dajun.’ It wasn’t that I had completely changed, but I had gone out and made a new friend.
‘What would other people think?’
How would the people I’ve known for a long time take my changes? I lifted my head slightly and looked at Yang Dahee.
“Noona, so do you hate it?”
“Hm?”
“Me going out and stuff. Is it bad?”
Yang Dahee’s eyes widened for a moment, but she soon shook her head and said, “No. I like it⋯.”
She let out a breath and drew a soft curve with her lips. Seeing her smile put my mind at ease. My face, which had been slightly tense, began to relax, but Yang Dahee continued.
“But⋯.”
“But, I do worry a little, too.”
“Why⋯?”
I trailed off, curious about what she was going to say. Yang Dahee saw me furrow my brows and gave a small chuckle.
“Heh, I’m worried you’ll meet some strange woman.”
I felt a pang of guilt inside.
‘What am I supposed to say to that?’
I didn’t know what her standard for a “strange woman” was, but she was probably just wary of me meeting just anyone.
‘But I want to meet a lot of them.’
I was conflicted because I wanted to be devoured by beautiful women. But there was no need to worry my ‘Noona,’ who lived only for me.
‘*Sigh*.’
I sighed inwardly and decided to soothe Yang Dahee.
“⋯I won’t.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, and if I do, you can punish me.”
“Heh⋯.”
The blanket shifted. Yang Dahee bit her lip, trying to hold back a laugh.
If my beloved ‘Noona’ was reassured by this, then that was a relief.
‘Though there’s no chance I’d actually need to be punished.’
The promise that Noona could punish me if I went around meeting women.
It might be dangerous, but I could make that promise because I believed that we, as siblings, didn’t see each other in a romantic light.
From then on, I tried to spend the sleepless time slowly by talking about this and that with Yang Dahee.
“So, here’s what I did⋯.”
“⋯When Yurim saw me⋯.”
“From Noona’s perspective, you two are both⋯.”
It was only much later that I realized we had been talking without sleeping the whole time.
“But, Noona.”
“Yeah?”
“If we keep this up, Dami’s going to wake up.”
“⋯Ah.”
We both opened our eyes wide, facing each other. We had realized way too late that Yang Dami was also sleeping at the edge of the bed.
At my words, Yang Dahee turned her body around slowly, as if time had stopped.
“Dami.”
Then, she whispered in a voice that was barely audible.
“Dami, are you asleep?”
“⋯”
There was no answer. Well, obviously, she couldn’t talk if she was asleep. The way Noona leaned her face in to try and hear an answer made me smile.
I smiled softly and watched as Yang Dahee turned back around.
“Is she asleep?”
“Nooo.”
I made eye contact with Yang Dahee.
“Heh⋯.”
“Heh heh⋯.”
We stifled our laughter, facing each other as if we were sharing a secret.
‘This feels like we’re on a trip somewhere.’
Even the most trivial conversation felt enjoyable.
As we kept laughing under the blanket, the heat began to rise. My body felt like it was melting, and my head grew hazy, making me drunk on the atmosphere.
I was happy that Yang Dahee was my ‘Noona.’
‘Noona, I like you⋯.’
In my nearly asleep state, I just let any thought come to mind.
“Noona⋯.”
“What, again?”
“Since we’re doing this⋯.”
As I drew out my words, Yang Dahee perked up her ears. I looked at the pillow Noona was lying on and just said whatever came to mind.
“Since we’re doing this⋯ it feels like philotalk⋯.”
“Yeah⋯.”
What?
Yang Dahee’s eyes widened, and she sat up.
