This Was an NTR Story
The moment I opened my eyes, I was no longer on Earth.
A world of swords and magic. A fantasy realm straight out of the novels I used to read. And I had been chosen as its Hero.
At first, I thought it was a dream. Then I thought it was a miracle. But the truth I eventually learned was far crueler than any nightmare.
This wasn’t a hero’s tale.
It was an NTR story.
“I’m sorry, Leon. I have other plans today…”
The first crack appeared with those words from Serin, the saintess who had once sworn she would follow me to the ends of the earth.
“Huh? Why the hell would I go to the market with you? Just do that kind of thing by yourself!”
That was Airen, the high elf archer who used to blush and call me her “only human.”
“Umm~ Sorry! I’ve got somewhere to be today, so I can’t hang out with you!”
And Tei, the beastkin warrior who had once wagged her tail and said she would protect me forever.
I finally understood.
They weren’t busy. They were avoiding me. And the ones they were meeting instead… were the male leads who had begun to appear one by one around them.
The crown prince with his flashy smile.
The master of the magic tower who looked down on everyone.
The leader of the hero’s rival party who always acted like he was better than me.
They were all slowly stealing the women who were supposed to be mine.
At first I tried to endure it. I told myself this was just how fantasy worlds worked. That the hero always suffered before rising up. That if I worked harder, they would come back to me.
But the more I endured, the more they looked at me with pity. With contempt. With boredom.
Then one day, after we had barely managed to defeat the Demon King’s fourth general, I overheard them talking behind my back.
“Seriously, Leon is so pathetic these days.”
“Right? He keeps trying to act like the hero, but he’s just holding us back.”
“I wish he would just disappear already.”
That was the moment something inside me finally snapped.
I had died once already, thrown into this world against my will. I had bled and cried and nearly died dozens of times to save this rotten kingdom. I had believed in friendship and love and the power of bonds like the idiot I was.
And this was the result.
Fine.
If that’s how they wanted to play it…
I would stop holding back.
I will kill every last one of them.
The moment that thought crystallized, a new window appeared before my eyes. Not the gentle blue system screen I had grown used to. This one was pitch black, with blood-red letters that seemed to burn themselves into my retinas.
My hair, once turned pure white by the Goddess’s blessing, began to bleed into jet black from the roots. My golden eyes cooled into a dull, metallic gray-white.
The power of Wrath surged through my veins like molten iron.
I smiled for the first time in months.
It wasn’t a kind smile.
“You’re all dead now.”
The words I had only thought until now finally left my lips.
From this moment on, I would no longer play the part of the pathetic, patient hero.
I would become the nightmare they had created.
And I would enjoy every single second of their screams.
