This Beast... ♡!! (5)
“Yeonha. Delivery’s here.”
“Eek?! P-put that down!! Give it to me right now!!”
The woman who charged at full speed toward Iron Colossus as he was heading out for work and snatched the package from him stared up at him with a flustered expression, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. The box had no visible brand label. The shipping slip only read “toys.” It was a toy… technically… but….
Yeonha fumbled with the box for a moment, then forced her face into a neutral expression and glanced at Iron Colossus. Luckily, he didn’t seem to suspect anything.
“H-have a good day!!”
“Mm. I’ll be home late starting today.”
“Right, right. You said you were doing combat training? That’s awesome!”
“Mm.”
It was the first day of the combat training he had arranged with Onyx Knight. Awakened abilities grew stronger the more they were used, so real-combat-style training would definitely help. Iron Colossus had relatively little fighting experience compared to his talent, which slowed his growth. Still, reaching A-class with that handicap meant his raw talent had always been exceptional.
“Good luck today!”
“Mm.”
Only after watching him step into the elevator and disappear did Yeonha let out a long, shaky sigh and clutch her chest. With anxious steps she carried the box into the living room, cradling it like a nuclear physicist on the Manhattan Project opening the very first atomic device. She peeled the tape off with meticulous care.
Shrrk. Shrrk.
She sliced through the packing tape and pulled out the long black rod wrapped in bubble wrap.
“Hooo…”
One deep breath. Her heart hammered with equal parts fear and trembling anticipation.
“It’s just to check. I’m only checking. I’m just curious what it actually looks like.”
It was purely to satisfy her curiosity! That was all!
She peeled away the thick layers of bubble wrap one by one. With every translucent sheet that fell, the silhouette grew clearer. And finally….
“…Whoa…”
She stared blankly at the heavy rod in her hand.
“Did I… order the wrong size…?”
The “lethal weapon” she had seen in Ocoid’s pants had looked a little smaller than this. Or had it? Were they similar? The thickness seemed about the same, but this one was harder, more veined, more rugged….
Twitch.
“Hah!”
Yeonha flinched violently and scrambled backward. She looked down between her legs with a twisted expression. Had she… just gotten a little wet? No, no way. That couldn’t be it.
“This is just cold sweat, right? From nerves. Jeez, that scared me!! Seriously! This isn’t a police baton, it’s a damn club!”
Even the batons police used to subdue civilian criminals looked gentler than this. Swing this thing around and any special offender would probably surrender in tears. She chewed her lip while glaring at this horrific product of scientific civilization, then finally threw it onto the table with an irritated huff.
“Ugh, it’s hideous! I—I only like our Colossus’s size!!”
Of course she did. Who in their right mind would use something like this?
Yeonha forced out a few awkward laughs and stood up. She cleaned up the breakfast she had made for Iron Colossus, washed the dishes, killed some time watching TV… and then.
Hm. It had been a while. Since Colossus was going to be late anyway… maybe she could watch a little… porn? Just a bit? Or maybe she should do the housework first, then watch a little to start the day feeling refreshed. That didn’t sound so bad.
Yeonha nodded to herself and headed for the computer. Today she would skip the manga and go straight for live-action. Not Japanese—Western. The search tag was… uh….
After a moment of hesitation, she unconsciously glanced at the table. It’s just curiosity. That’s all.
She typed BBC and clicked search.
Dozens of thumbnails flooded the screen. Yeonha made a low humming noise and began clicking through the pages.
“Holy shit, wow, oh my god, mmm…”
She kept muttering to herself, clicking and scrolling for a long time. Then she froze in front of a thumbnail tagged [oral].
A pale, slender woman with her eyes wide open was forcing an enormous, mosaic-covered “something” into her mouth, her entire face contorted. Yeonha glanced at the table again.
“That… can actually fit in a mouth…?”
Of course, a human mouth had greater capacity than a vagina. Logically, if something could fit inside the latter, it could fit inside the former. Physiologically speaking, that was true. Strictly speaking.
But… just because it was possible didn’t mean people shoved an entire baguette down their throat without slicing it first. She had certainly never considered it.
Yeonha swallowed hard, stared at the thumbnail for a long time, glanced at the table once more, and muttered, “I… am a little curious?” as if making an excuse. Then she shouted at herself, It’s just curiosity! and carefully picked up the “lethal weapon” from the table with two fingers before sitting back down in front of the computer.
“Gyuki-nim~ Aang~ Please eat~”
The bull-headed monster thought to himself as he lazily accepted the fruit. He still couldn’t get used to the name “Gyuki.” The hero name he had originally wanted was something like Minotaur or Mad Bull. What even was Gyuki? Wasn’t it too provincial? It was a monster from legends passed down in the Ushioni, Ginki, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions—a creature with no footsteps, a flexible body, a spider-like form, a monkey’s head, and an ox’s horns. What did any of that have to do with him? He was simply a beast-type superhuman who borrowed the strength of an ox.
Still, it was the Japanese Association and government that filled his wallet, and Japan loved “original heroes” colored by their native culture. So Gyuki had accepted the name without complaint.
“What are you thinking about?”
The woman clung to him sweetly, feeding him fruit and liquor. Gyuki looked at her silently, then accepted the next drink she offered. All of this was money. The cost of renting out this luxury club room for the entire night, plus the table charge bloated with foreigner premiums. The insane pricing that turned a 300,000-won tax-free foreign liquor into 200,000 per bottle, plus the modest incentive this woman would receive.
In other words…
“I should get my money’s worth.”
“Pardon…?”
“Hah. Enough. Strip.”
Gyuki slowly rose from his seat and began removing his pants. From the seated woman’s perspective, it must have felt like a giant was standing up. Two hundred and seventy centimeters tall. Average weight of two hundred and ten kilograms. The overwhelming size difference would have been impossible to believe if they were the same species.
And the woman the club had assigned him—despite her vast experience with men—was once again overwhelmed. Standing with the dim room lights behind him, the “thing” that cast a shadow over her head as it sprang free made her stammer.
“E… E… Eh?”
“If I take them off you, they’ll rip. That’d be inconvenient for you when you leave, wouldn’t it? Hurry up and strip.”
“N-no… I… I didn’t come here for that…”
“If you didn’t come here for that, why are you sitting here? Do you actually want to die?”
The rage of an S-class beast-type hero was enough by itself to freeze civilians in place. It felt like a nuclear warhead was flying straight at her. The woman went rigid, stammering, then tears spilled from her eyes.
“T-that’s… I… please… spare me…”
“Tsk. Why the fuck do these bitches always pull the exact same shit no matter what country they’re from? Forget it. My mistake for trying to talk nicely.”
“I-I’m sorry! P-please let me go! I won’t tell anyone… I swear I won’t tell anyone…”
Gyuki watched the woman turn deathly pale as she begged on her hands and knees, then let out a heavy sigh.
“Moo~”
He playfully imitated a cow’s cry, then spread his massive hand and clamped it firmly around her head. Even though he was only applying gentle pressure, the immense power that could crush her skull was clearly felt. Ah, I’m going to die. I’m really going to die. In that vague terror of realizing this was a real monster, the woman let out a pathetic spurt of urine.
Gyuki chuckled and shoved her onto the sofa. Then, very slowly—almost as if inviting her to truly gauge his size—he approached, rubbing his monstrous organ against her outstretched thigh.
Korean Hero Association, Division 7. Commonly known as the “S-class Meeting.” The place where the strongest heroes in the country gathered to discuss current issues… or rather, to network and coordinate emergency responses for national disasters. Despite the name “irregular council,” there was always one person sitting in the Division 7 conference room.
Korea’s strongest. S-class Rank 1, Greywing.
He was a solid, military-looking man with closely cropped hair. With fatigue-heavy eyes, he watched Botal Rabbit as she finally opened the door and stepped inside.
“You’re late.”
“Ah… sorry, Uncle. I was preparing a few things.”
“I see. Sit.”
He was a sensible enough man not to nag her about how he had called her two days ago and she was only now showing up, or how an S-class hero was walking in with such a dazed look. Especially not when he was the one asking for a favor.
“You saw the interview with Gyuki, I assume.”
“Yeah. That Japanese guy.”
“Correct. I’d like you to go and do a little PR—make it look like the two of you are catching a villain together.”
“…Huh? Me?”
Botal Rabbit, who had been wearing a blank face, finally snapped back to attention. She narrowed her eyes at Greywing.
“I don’t do sidekick stuff. And if we’re being precise, this mission was pushed on us by the Japanese side without even asking for our opinion. We should just let him do whatever he wants and send him on his way.”
“We have our reputation to consider. It wouldn’t look good to treat him poorly, and the villain can’t be caught anyway. Think of it as playing relaxed tour guide for about a week.”
Who knows? If he liked the Korean environment, he might decide to stay. Headhunting foreign heroes was nearly taboo, but practically every national association tried it openly at least once. Even recruiting a single one strengthened their forces.
With no great expectations, Greywing leaned back in his chair and added, “Just don’t be too rough with him.”
“Hehe, I can’t promise that.”
“Well, if words don’t work, you can be rough. If you crush him completely this time, it’ll help our prestige too.”
“Uncle, you’re actually kind of shady.”
Botal Rabbit let out a small laugh. In other words, if she found any excuse to beat him down, the Association would publicly announce that Korea had won a ‘spar’ between S-class heroes. Such opportunities were rare, so if persuasion failed, she was to make him kneel.
“Buy some Association bonds. The price will go up.”
“I’ll look forward to it.”
If Korea’s S-class hero crushed Japan’s S-class hero in a one-on-one fight, the Korean Hero Association’s bond prices would indeed rise. It was half a joke, but it was also a hero-like boast.
“Oh, but you said he can’t catch the villain anyway? What did that mean?”
“Because there was never a villain to begin with.”
“…What?”
“We weren’t sitting around doing nothing. The Navy’s South Sea Fleet spent the last two days investigating every ship caught on sonar—from fishing boats to cargo vessels. Among all vessels that crossed into our waters, including smuggling ships, there was no ‘Red Point.’”
How far could modern science and superhuman ability go when combined? The answer: they could control every boundary within a nation’s borders for a set period of time. After a complete two-day sweep, the Association had learned one thing.
The villain known as Red Point had never smuggled himself into Korea at all.
“What does that mean? Then why did that guy even come?”
“That’s what I want you to find out. Whatever his intentions are, he crossed over on orders from the Japanese Association. It might even be a smokescreen operation at the national level.”
“Oh…? So if he came with bad intentions, crush him. If he’s harmless, recruit him?”
“Precisely.”
Greywing tossed a file folder onto the table in front of her.
“This contains his activities since his B-class days—far more detailed than the official records the Japanese side released. He’s more of a villain than he looks. Don’t focus solely on persuasion. Be ready to subdue him if necessary.”
“Yeah, yeah. That’s actually my specialty. Persuasion, my ass.”
Botal Rabbit laughed softly as she picked up the file and stood.
“So where do I go? What’s he doing right now?”
“He’s apparently spending money like water at a club. Living like an oil tycoon. In just two days he’s burned through over three billion won.”
“Is this what they call foreign exchange income? Or… tourism revenue? Maybe he’s actually a decent tourist?”
“Get the rest of the briefing from the team, then head to the club he’s been freeloading at for the past few days.”
“Got it. Take care, Uncle. …And don’t work too hard. You’ll go bald.”
Botal Rabbit left the conference room with a bright laugh.
