The Rabbit Hole Share House! (7)
Iron Colossus rose slowly from his seat as the morning sun began to brighten the sky. It had been a long night—for him, and for the younger woman as well.
Tran Van Bao. That man was only F-class, so after staying up all night tormenting her, he had probably passed out in a deep sleep. But Botal Rabbit could not do the same. He knew about her heat. If her burning body was not properly satisfied, she would suffer and writhe until she finally fainted from exhaustion.
When he returned to the bedroom, he sat quietly on the bed and stared at the open door. Some time passed, and finally, from far down the hallway, came the sound of a door opening.
Squelch. Squelch♡
Wet, slippery sounds continued for a moment longer. Then Botal Rabbit appeared at the end of the corridor. Her entire body was drenched in sweat and saliva, covered in kiss marks across her neck and chest, and she staggered as she walked. With a dazed expression, she headed straight for the bedroom.
“Botal Rabbit.”
“…”
Her face flushed bright red, eyes completely vacant, she shuffled over and collapsed onto the bed with a heavy thud. An unfamiliar scent wafted strongly from her whole body—the same one he had caught through that man’s bedroom window. Only then did Iron Colossus truly register it.
That man’s mark had been layered over her. And it was probably still covering her mind as well. The strangely fading atmosphere made him uneasy. He spoke to her again.
“Botal Rabbit.”
She sat there blankly for a long while before finally turning her head with a soft gasp.
“C-Colossus? When… when did you…?”
“I have been here the whole time.”
“Ah… really? Sorry. I must smell awful. I’ll go wash…”
Before he could even reply, she staggered to her feet and headed for the bathroom. The sound of the shower ran for a very long time—far longer than her usual routine. When the water finally stopped and she emerged, her expression was even more unfocused than before. She stumbled over and collapsed onto the bed.
“This is bad. Really bad.”
“What is wrong?”
“I can’t feel anything.”
Botal Rabbit buried her face in the blanket and squirmed. Her pale, slender fingers had already slipped between her legs. Wet, obscene sounds accompanied the slick fluid that leaked out, but she made no moan at all. She could not.
“Nothing. I really can’t feel anything at all. What do I do? I want it so badly right now… I want to come so much… but my senses have been locked down.”
“Mm…”
“From last night until now. I haven’t come even once. Right before I reach the edge, the sensation stops. Then it builds again, and stops again. Over and over…!! And now I’ve finally been allowed out… finally…!!”
She pounded the pillow furiously and shot upright, grinding her teeth.
“That bastard… he’s controlling my senses…!! He said he’ll keep me like this until he decides to release me…!!”
“Hmm…”
She seems more composed than I expected…? Iron Colossus thought as he watched her eyes blaze with fury. For someone who had been forcibly used all night, she looked remarkably intact.
“I will never forgive him…!! Does he think I’ll break from something like this?! Colossus, this is serious. Once this is over, I might actually kill that bastard!!”
“If that is what you wish.”
“Yes! That’s exactly what I want! Really!! Aaaargh!!”
Thump! Thump! Thump!!
She slammed the pillow repeatedly, venting her rage. It was extremely rare for her to express her emotions so openly. She was not an honest person by nature. Because of that, Iron Colossus felt a vague sense of discomfort. He could not tell whether she was truly angry or simply wearing fury as a mask to convince herself. It was too difficult to judge, so he simply nodded without a word.
“One week? Ha! Even if it’s a whole month, let’s see if it works…!! Does he think I’ll lose?!”
She shouted at the top of her lungs, snatched up her rabbit-shaped sleep mask, yanked it over her eyes, and threw herself onto the bed with enough force to nearly break it.
“I’m going to sleep!! Don’t wake me!!”
“Mm.”
Let her rest. She must be exhausted.
Iron Colossus nodded, gathered his clothes, and left the bedroom. As he crossed the hallway toward the front door, he suddenly felt someone’s gaze and turned his head.
“Ah, Iron Colossus sir. Are you heading to work?”
Tran Van Bao was peeking through a slightly opened door with a vacant, stupid expression.
“Mm.”
Thanks to their height difference, Iron Colossus could see faintly into the room beyond the gap—above the small man’s head. Scattered blankets. Soaked sheets. Wads of tissue paper everywhere. A pile of Botal Rabbit’s clothes. And… an unfamiliar pair of extremely small, lewd panties.
When he turned his gaze away without reaction, Tran Van Bao apparently decided he had not noticed. The smaller man gave a sleazy smile and bowed.
“Have a safe trip! This one, Tran Van Bao, will guard the house!”
“Mm.”
He gave a slight nod and stepped out the front door. Just as the inner door closed and the front door was about to shut, in that fleeting moment, a tiny murmur reached his ears from far behind him. It was so quiet that only a physical-type hero would have caught it.
“What a stupid bastard. Doesn’t even know his girlfriend is getting her cunt wrecked. Thanks to him, the daytime belongs to me too.”
Iron Colossus closed the front door and stood still for a moment, eyes tightly shut. Self-loathing, pride, rage, hatred, disgust—none of those emotions rose in him. Only a bitter, hollow emptiness remained.
Was he using her? Or was he being used?
It was too difficult a question for him to answer. Especially because it involved Botal Rabbit, not himself. But one thing was certain: once this matter was over, he had no intention of letting Tran Van Bao off easily.
So for now, as always, he would trust Botal Rabbit and do what he had to do.
It was time to head to work.
The headquarters of the Borderland Golems and Onyx Knight’s personal hero base—Golem Kingdom. On the top floor of that stark, utilitarian, fortress-like concrete building lay an office made of raw exposed concrete. It had no decorations or embellishments whatsoever. This was where Onyx Knight handled both her living quarters and official duties.
Across the steel table from her, Onyx Knight sat with her arms crossed, glaring at Iron Colossus.
“What the hell have you been up to lately?”
“Investigation.”
“I’m asking what kind of investigation!”
Onyx Knight frowned deeply, clearly irritated. Unless a disaster broke out, disaster relief heroes were always on standby. Like firefighters on duty when there was no fire. Of course, as heroes they were granted plenty of personal time and welfare benefits, but still. Unlike other hero teams, the disaster support division required punctual attendance.
Yet for the past several days, Iron Colossus had either failed to show up at all or appeared only to show his face before vanishing again. It looked like he was caught up in some incident, but she could neither figure out what it was nor get him to talk about it. As his mentor, Onyx Knight felt like her insides were about to burst.
“Why won’t you tell me?! What is it? Is it serious? Colossus, I’m worried about you. Seriously! It’s driving me crazy!”
“I am sorry.”
“Aaaargh! Don’t apologize!”
Onyx Knight thumped her chest and let out a long sigh.
“Looking at you, it seems like you stayed up all night again. What happened? If you need muscle, I’ll help. Is it another weird villain like that time with Killer Toad?”
“No.”
“Uuuugh…!”
When Onyx Knight looked ready to tear at the chest of her uniform and scream, Iron Colossus made a slightly troubled face and spoke.
“I am searching for a female victim from a certain case. It appears she has gone missing.”
“…What?”
“At first I did not think it was serious, so I did not dig deeply. But I found at least three more similar cases. I learned of it by chance and it is not yet confirmed, so I had no one to report it to.”
Hearing his explanation, Onyx Knight straightened her posture, eyes sparkling with interest.
“What kind of case?”
“It is a kind of… ‘addiction’ incident. Several women who became ‘addicted’ to a certain thing appear to have gone missing.”
“Addiction? Is it a drug case? Then it sounds more like a regular special crime than a villain offense… Shouldn’t you report it to the police? It doesn’t seem like hero work.”
“If it becomes clearer, I will. Not yet.”
“…Fine. Even if we’re disaster support, we’re still heroes at heart. If there are victims, there should be saviors. You should have told me sooner.”
When Onyx Knight scolded him, Iron Colossus closed his mouth for a moment, choosing his words carefully.
“Because a certain woman might be involved, I will keep it secret until it is confirmed.”
“…Is Botal Rabbit doing drugs?”
“No.”
“There’s another woman besides Botal Rabbit?”
“…No.”
“Sometimes I can’t believe I’m having a conversation with you in the same world using the same language. I should have taught you Korean when you were little. Why didn’t I meet you sooner? Huh?”
Frustrated by Iron Colossus’s catastrophic conversational skills, Onyx Knight thumped her chest again and sighed deeply. She soon composed herself and nodded.
“Alright. Go on. The country won’t collapse without you, and neither will the team. I won’t bother you for a while, so investigate as much as you need. If there are people to save, save them without fail. And if anything happens—if you need strength—don’t suffer alone. Contact me immediately.”
“Mm.”
“Go.”
“Mm.”
“Aaaargh!! ‘Mm’ is forbidden!!”
“Mmm… I will be going.”
Iron Colossus snatched the pencil flying toward the back of his head out of the air, placed it neatly on the table, and walked out with steady steps. Onyx Knight, who had been shouting in frustration, regained her composure the moment he disappeared from sight. She took a deep breath.
“I hope it’s nothing serious.”
But whenever that guy got involved with a woman, something always happened. She shook her head with a bitter smile.
No matter what, it can’t be that big a deal… right?
