Take Me as Your Supervising Professor (4)
“Principal. I think I was wrong. For the student roster for this Song of Valor tournament, let me pick them myself since I'm the advising professor.”
“It's already been announced.”
The principal slowly stroked his white beard.
“Changing the list now could hurt the students' feelings.”
Yeah. I don't care about that. Just cut Alicia.
I put on a serious face.
“Team harmony is crucial. But the list the professors selected only looked at skill and ignored the students' relationships entirely. Raw talent alone won't beat the opponents. It's hard to build unity, cohesion, and emotional bonds among the members. And with the tournament so close, do you really want to see a ragtag bunch out there? I don't want to advise a team like that.”
It was a veiled threat: if you don't give me selection authority, I'm quitting as advisor.
The real arrogant bitch is just too annoying to teach.
“Keh heh.”
The principal chuckled lowly.
“Seeing you take such a hard line, there must be a problem with the list. Can you explain more specifically? You mentioned relationships—who has issues with whom?”
I didn't want to name Alicia, but I carefully explained the situation between Angelina and her.
The principal seemed to already know about it and nodded easily.
“I forgot about that. We were too mechanical... tsk.”
“Being together could be torture for Angelina.”
“You're right. We made a mistake.”
“If there had been reflection and an apology sooner, I wouldn't be doing this.”
“No helping it. Revise the roster as you see fit.”
Perfect. Approval granted.
I immediately headed to the administrative office and ordered them to collect all the posted student selection lists from around the school.
Back in the RS Group classroom, the kids who had just finished class looked frozen.
“Did you know too, Assistant Professor?”
Hazel stared at me with wide eyes, dazed.
They must have seen the posted list.
She frowned, her face full of disappointment.
“You knew!”
“Knew what?”
“The selection list! Why is Alicia on it? I really hate that bitch! Just tell me to die instead! Waaah!”
She tore at her hair and threw a fit.
Behind her, I saw Angelina and Lydia. Angelina sat there with a worried look, glancing at me anxiously, while Lydia seemed utterly clueless.
“C-Calm down, Hazel. I-I'm fine. If Alicia bullies me again, I'll just punch her like last time...”
“I hate it! I hate being on the same team as that bitch! You too, right, Lydia?”
“If she messes with me, I'll beat her. Whatever.”
“Lydia, you're not even her friend! Think about Angelina for once!”
“Hey, hey, kids. Listen to me.”
“You're the worst, Assistant Professor! You knew she was on it and still took the advisor role? You should've refused! You must be like the other guys, totally charmed by Alicia's looks!”
Why is this girl going so berserk?
I hugged her from behind like she was tied with rope and explained the situation to everyone.
“So the list will be revised. I'll pick them myself. Got it?”
I finished and looked at the kids.
“Phew...”
“Assistant Professor is the best.”
Angelina and Lydia's faces relaxed, and Hazel gave an awkward smile.
“Ah... I see. S-Sorry for misunderstanding... hehe...”
“That I fell head over heels for Alicia's beauty?”
I released my arms and lightly pushed Hazel away.
“No sex with you for a while.”
“Aww, Assist~ant Pro~fessor~”
“Scram.”
“Forgive me just once~”
She followed me around, clasping her hands in plea.
My mood improved soon enough. As a token of forgiveness, I shoved my dick in her mouth.
In atonement, she sucked eagerly until I came.
After that, as I sat in the assistant professor's booth at the corner of the lecture hall to observe the class the kids were attending, Holland, who came with me, nudged my arm.
“Look over there. Alicia keeps staring.”
“At who?”
“You.”
“Me?”
I looked up through the glass wall at the bustling lecture hall full of students.
Alicia, sitting with her usual clique, was glancing our way.
Our eyes met.
“……”
“……”
Alicia's lips curved into a subtle smile.
A confident expression. No—like she'd already won?
What the hell? She shouldn't be smiling like that.
Even during class, Alicia kept turning to look at me with that strange smirk.
What's going on in that head of hers?
...As I pondered, the lecture ended.
“Good work, Mr. Holland.”
“Ah, gonna step out for a smoke. See ya later.”
I left the booth to head back to the classroom with the RS Group kids.
Then Alicia blocked my path.
Still wearing that inexplicable smile.
“I need to talk to you. Got time?”
Perfect timing—I had something to tell her too.
She needed to know she'd be cut from the upcoming revised list.
“Yeah. Let's go somewhere else.”
I sent the RS Group kids ahead to the classroom and moved to a secluded spot with Alicia.
“You like me, right?”
She blurted it out the moment we were alone.
I was dumbfounded.
“What are you talking about?”
“I can tell you're flustered. You wanna hide it since I asked so suddenly. No need. I already know everything.”
“You're seriously mistaken.”
“Mistaken? God, you're such a coward in love.”
Alicia snorted and crossed her arms.
“A few days ago during the riot, you came to save me. Wasn't that because you're into me? And starting today, you're getting sponsorship from my father. Plus the Song of Valor participant list announced today—with my name on it. You're the advisor. It's all too connected. You're hovering around trying to get close to me, right?”
She laughed.
“If you wanna serve me, just confess honestly and do it proudly. I don't refuse anyone who wants to wait on me. I'm generous and magnanimous—big-hearted with my inferiors.”
“...Done talking?”
“Yeah, your turn.”
Oh, fuck. What a waste listening to this bullshit.
“The riot and your father's sponsorship would take forever to explain, so one thing: Alicia, the selection list you saw is getting revised soon. You're out. No Song of Valor for you. I pulled you myself.”
“What?”
Stunned by the sudden news, she uncrossed her arms and stared at me intently.
“Why cut me?”
“You don't fit our party. It's obvious you'd just cause discord.”
“You don't like me?”
“I told you, that's your delusion. Am I crazy? Why would I like you?”
When I openly said I hated her right to her face with a disgusted look, her face flushed red.
Her features twisted.
“Who the hell are you? What gives you the right to cut me? Do you even have the authority?”
“Alicia.”
I stared at her calmly.
“It's not just personal feelings. Pure calculation. The principal ordered me to win this tournament, and Angelina's help is essential. But with you there, she can't perform at full strength psychologically. By my judgment, Angelina outclasses you in skill, so you're excluded. That's it.”
“My skills, top 1-3 in the year, are worthless?”
Of course. One shot of my semen injection and Angelina skyrockets past most A-rank adventurers.
How could you, who can't even take that, compare?
“You've been losing to her lately. If you really wanna join, there's one way: apologize to Angelina properly.”
“Apologize?”
She scoffed.
“I'm Alicia of the Burlington Duke family. I've never apologized once in my life. And she was weak enough to almost get eaten—why should I apologize for that? Don't you know nature's law?”
“Survival of the fittest?”
“Exactly.”
“If I raped you right here, would you submit since it's survival of the fittest?”
“What?”
She backed away, goosebumps rising.
“You're insane?”
“Can't? You said survival of the fittest.”
“J-Just try it.”
“I'm picky too. I know what I like. Someone like you? Not even tempted.”
“You bastard! And you're an assistant professor? Spouting rude shit right in my face! No manners!”
“……”
I stared silently, then turned to leave with my final words.
“Apologize to Angelina and promise to get along, and I'll put you back on the list.”
As I walked away, I heard her stomping the floor behind me.
“Don't talk crap! Do it yourselves! Go lose miserably!”
Yeah, got it.
I nodded and left.
Alicia was cleanly eliminated.
Time to pick new members and aim for victory.
