An Eye for an Eye, A Tooth for a Tooth
"Not a good idea?" I stared straight at Choi Nahee and asked. There was no way she'd bring this up out of nowhere. Of course, it was hard to imagine she was jealous about me adding more women to my life. We'd been together for over two months now, and she was the type fully content with her position as my sex slave.
"Why?" At my question, Choi Nahee paused, straightening her disheveled blouse. She looked so composed as she slowly lifted her head and spoke.
"I've worked at this company for over ten years. One of the trainees from back then was Lily."
I nodded. It was common knowledge among Foxy fans that Lily had been there from the start, when Boz was building its flagship group.
Ria was one of them too, and so was Nayun.
Both had endured eight years as trainees, from what I'd heard. But so what?
"And?" I prompted curtly.
Choi Nahee met my eyes and let out a short sigh.
"I've always thought I knew Lily better than anyone. And she... " She hesitated, as if reluctant to continue, then pressed on. "...has a very unique way of looking at men. Probably not at all like you imagine, Master."
"Huh?" Her words didn't make sense, so I tilted my head. But it didn't take long to figure out what she meant.
Participating in the album work had album production for Foxy's mini-album sailing along smoothly. Thanks to that, I finally got to properly greet and bond with the other Foxy members—everyone except Ria, who was basically my future wife.
"Whoa, whoa!" Kwon Yena, the 22-year-old main dancer, gaped at me from our first meeting, showing massive interest. In just one day, I stole a kiss and copped a feel of her chest. But her slightly embarrassed face made me decide to take things slow beyond that. Being top-tier idols, maybe? She wasn't falling easily, even with my Genius Face (SS) effect.
No, wait—advancing this far in a single day after just meeting? That's pretty damn fast.
Considering we'd only known of each other by face before, it was lightning speed.
"Uh, h-hi? Hello? Uh, what do I call you?"
"Producer."
"Y-yes, got it! Producer!"
Jeong Dagyung had her neat bob haircut and a chic, aloof vibe she was famous for—but turns out, she froze up solid in front of a handsome guy.
"Do you game too, Producer?"
And Harin, the team's maknae and a huge fan of the pro gaming team T5, among others. Thanks to my Genius Face (SS) and genius producer aura, I bonded with the Foxy girls effortlessly.
But the one I actually tried to get close to? No dice.
"Great work, everyone! I'll head out first!"
The second practice ended, Lily bolted for the dorm like she'd been waiting all day.
"......"
Why? Just like Choi Nahee said, unlike the others, getting rationally close to Lily felt impossible.
She doesn't seem to hate me or anything...
There was this subtle, inexplicable wall.
Tricky.
I'd already shattered Kim Seongchan's mentality for lusting after my women. Cross-checked it with the girls I'd bedded after dropping tracks on them—he was definitely suffering.
But that wasn't enough.
Touching my woman is a crime that big.
I needed to crush him properly now, so shit like this wouldn't happen again. My plan was to cozy up to Lily, the one he had a crush on, and grind his mind to dust.
Not easy.
Unlike the other Foxy members, whenever I tried steering things romantic, she'd subtly draw a line. Choi Nahee was right—her taste in men was special. Her own unique standards.
"Hmm."
From what the members said, she didn't even seem into girls. Then one day...
It had been a while since I headed to the company early. After a happy bathroom romp with Nayun, I was en route to the studio for Foxy's mini-album when...
"......?"
Thumping music leaked from Foxy's practice room. An upbeat track I'd heard somewhere before.
Peeking inside...

Lily, in a baseball uniform, was dancing like a cheerleader.
"Ah?!"
That's when it hit me—the nickname Foxy's fan club, the Furries, gave her. Busan's Baseball Goddess. Born and raised in Busan, she'd supposedly been watching games from her mom's womb. Jokingly claiming 20 years as a Busan fan, she was notorious for hitting the stadium over fan meets whenever her schedule freed up.
How did I not think of this?
I'd been shoving my face in like an idiot, forgetting the basics since women's favor shot up that way.
Time to research enough to chat naturally.
Back at the studio, I searched Korean baseball. I already knew the basics, so adapting to this world should let me talk with Lily easy.
Wonder what baseball's like here?!
A 20-year Daegu Eagles fan in my old life—memories of chasing MLB games thanks to some Ryu guy made my heart race.
But...
"This isn't the baseball I know?"
In this reversed world, all players were women. Teams could have up to three male or foreign mercenaries, but few did.
"Why? Isn't sports where men dominate?"
It made no sense. The world's top US women's soccer team got crushed by middle-schoolers from pro academies—that's women's sports reality. Especially baseball, where physical gaps scream. Pro male pitchers averaged 140 km/h; women lagged 20 km behind. Even in a reversed world, you'd think they'd snag good men to win...
Then I watched postseason highlights from October. That's when I got it.
"...What the fuck? You even human?!"
Male baseball players here were trash. Literal pretty faces, nothing more. 130 km/h pitches pros couldn't touch. Defense? Women dove like maniacs; these assholes just stood there.
"Hell, I'd run better than you shits!"
No one satisfied my MLB-tuned eyes.
"They fucking suck!"
Day 1 in isekai baseball: My first time clutching my neck from blood pressure. No wonder they call it a dangerous sport.
"Whew..."
Women's baseball itself wasn't bad, though. Not flashy, but cute and charming. Pros got intense in clutch moments.
Lily's a Busan fan, right?
Watching the Korean Series, I searched Busan Minions.
"...Name's fucking adorable."
But their record? Not so much. Founded 60 years ago, one championship—46 years back. Last postseason? 21 years ago. Meaning, since Lily was born, Minions never made it once.
"Confusing as hell."
Even the Giants I knew made postseason a few times, Korean Series four—winning once.
Digging into Minions' history, roster, games... I realized they had this weird charm. The kind that drives fans mad—utter shit, yet magnetic.
Last season, 7th place.
8th: Daejeon Chickens.
"This world or that, these two teams still suck at baseball."
Anyway, baseball was fun after so long. No wonder stadiums fill up. Even mid-mini-album meetings, I'd sneak peeks at my phone for Minions info while watching Foxy practice.
And then...
"Wha—huh?! P-Produce— you like baseball?!"
Lily stared at me, wide-eyed.
Pretending to know Minions, I brought it up—and she stuck to my side like a fish to water, yapping nonstop. An idol so hardcore she wore a Minions uniform to practice. Baseball as common ground was the key, alright. We talked more ball than album prep.
"Male mercs suck too."
"…Choi Jun-yong?"
"Yeah, that Pig Jun-yong fucker."
Her pretty face twisted in disgust just naming him. Busan fans loved and hated him: love for being male, hate for sucking dick at baseball.
"Ditch him, grab another foreigner—better record for sure... But popularity keeps the male merc, ugh."
Chatting baseball revealed Lily's type too.
Men who're good at baseball.
Apparently famous among Foxy fans. Not just good—damn good. Minions' Choi Jun-yong (Pig Jun-yong to fans) once hit her up after hearing about her; got roasted instantly.
'Hate him 'cause he sucks at baseball.'
Her no-BS takedown thrilled Busan fans. Hence "Baseball Goddess" and their endless love.
Not great for me, though.
Join an amateur team or what?
Might get closer to Lily, but I wasn't that desperate. Too busy, too annoying.
So I shelved revenge on Solaris's Kim Seongchan, focusing on the album... when
The PD from my overnight camping show texted.
"Yeah? I'm here."
All three episodes of Overnight Feast aired. From 5000 IP to boosting Perfect Man's ratings pre-air—sweet rewards. I replied instantly.
A bit later, his response:
"Huh?"
...Baseball? Outta nowhere?
