Training Results
The results of my instinct training were actually pretty decent. When I was told to wait, I could wait. When I was told to stay still, I could stay still.
That was true. But it was also true that the results felt a little disappointing. The biggest letdown was the prerequisite that Lee Ha-neul had to stay by my side at all times. If she wasn't there to hold my leash, I'd probably act like a wild animal, running around like a horse off its reins.
The growing anxiety finally made me speak up.
She wasn't just saying that. If Lee Ha-neul, the one holding my leash, ever left my side, I'd probably end up immortalized across various online communities with lovely nicknames like "Beast Girl" or "Dog Bitch."
…Anyway, since Lee Ha-neul wasn't going to be acting separately from me, the director would probably accept this much.
No matter how much instinct training I did, I couldn't fix the way my tail wagged or how I panted with my tongue hanging out. Even I couldn't understand my own body. The tail wagging was one thing, but why the hell did I stick my tongue out? Dogs stick their tongues out to release heat through panting, right? But when I'm in human form, I sweat normally through my skin. So what was the point of sticking my tongue out like this? Maybe I should just wear a mask or something…

Training Two: Seduction Training.
In some ways, seduction training was even more important than instinct training. The more tails I grew, the stronger my seductive power would become. If I couldn't control it, I wouldn't be able to coexist with humans anymore. That's how powerful my charm was.
The person helping with seduction training obviously had to be a man, not a woman. Women weren't affected by my seduction in the first place. I couldn't ask the director. He was already busy enough; he wasn't the type to have free time to help with my training. I couldn't ask the male civil servants at the Yokai Extermination Office either. As much as it pains me to say it, they already had their brains turned to mush by me. There was no way they'd be able to train properly.
In that sense…
Hojun had been lounging in the break room, enjoying the air conditioning while scrolling on his phone. The moment I asked for his help, his face twisted into a rotten expression. He really didn't want to do it.
Like something suddenly occurred to him, Hojun slapped his knee and spoke up.
…
Usually, those "high-and-mighty elders" were supposed to be stubborn, conservative, frustrating, and slow. That was the standard, wasn't it?
Hojun stared at me intently. Well, not exactly at my face. His eyes were glued to my massive chest as he continued speaking.
He really was the most irritating person the more you got to know him. I was starting to seriously doubt whether asking him for training was the right decision.
Since he had gotten permission from the Taoist Association elders, I figured I should visit them as soon as this meeting was over. Sangun hadn't given me any information about goblins because of that whole causality or heavenly law nonsense. He said I had to figure it out myself. Fortunately, the Taoist Association apparently had information on them, so it looked like I'd need to go there, sit down, and lose myself in reading.
But still…
He followed the rules more strictly than I expected. On the surface he looked like a total delinquent who would ignore rules without a second thought. Guess he still drew a line between personal and professional matters.
After chatting like that, we eventually arrived at the front yard.
Seduction. The mysterious power that tempts human men. Based on the reactions of the male civil servants at the Jirisan Yokai Extermination Office, the characteristics of someone under my seduction were as follows:
1. They get excited when they look at me.
2. They become unconditionally loyal to me.
The first one was whatever, but the second was actually pretty terrifying. If I ever had malicious intentions… I could probably start a coup and flip the entire world upside down with that kind of power.
On the other hand, Hojun's reaction toward me was completely different from those other men who'd fallen under my seduction. For the sake of effective training, I had released all seven of my tails. At seven tails, my seductive power radiated in all directions so strongly that even the director would have trouble looking me in the face.
Yet Hojun wasn't even clenching his teeth to resist it. He was just picking his nose and puffing away on his cigarette.
Just to be sure, I asked him.
It was clear. Hojun was just a perverted degenerate who loved women. He wasn't under my seduction at all. I explained the characteristics of my seduction to him. When I asked why he wasn't affected, he made a face like he understood and spoke.
As soon as Hojun released his Taoist Art, he stared at me blankly. Then he slapped his own cheek so hard the sound echoed, and hurriedly cast the protection art again.
…
It was that bad? I was grateful that Hojun was giving me unfiltered feedback right now, since I needed to understand the extent of my seductive power.
So… how the hell was I supposed to handle this troublesome ability?
As I paced around anxiously, Hojun looked at me like I was pathetic and said,
…
Even though he said that, I still had no idea how to actually control the ability.
Hojun, who had been looking at me with clear displeasure, continued.
Didn't he dislike me? When I looked at him with suspicious eyes, Hojun let out a sigh as if he couldn't believe me.
He glanced over and stared blatantly at my body. This guy was getting playful again. Not falling for it, you bastard.
I answered him coldly.
…
…
It was just a joke. He wasn't actually going to ask for something weird… right? Right?
Sigh. No matter what, Hojun wasn't the kind of person who'd actually make that kind of demand. It seemed the aftereffects of my seduction from earlier were still lingering.
…I really needed to start this training quickly.
