The Method of Contracting with Nidhorn
“……M-M-M-Master?”
Her plump lips, which had been cutely pressed together, trembled, and a mosquito-thin voice slipped out between them.
“M-Master?”
That was the exact moment Cardia and Sercia both dropped to their knees and bowed their heads.
“Lady Nidhorn.”
“It has been truly a long time since we last beheld you.”
Yet Nidhorn herself did not spare either of them so much as a glance. As if she were under some kind of spell, her gaze remained fixed on me and me alone. Transparent droplets began to gather in her eyes.
“At last……at last I found you……!”
With her doll-like appearance, she slowly approached me—her looks so disarmingly cute that the fact she was a cosmic-disaster-class being felt almost absurd—wearing a face that looked ready to burst into tears at any second. When she reached me she whispered softly,
“My Master……hehe♡”
For some reason……a chill ran down my spine.
No matter how grand the title “cosmic-disaster class” sounded……the Nidhorn standing in front of me right now was, by any measure, a girl who urgently needed to adapt to the human world.
“Masteeer♡”
She wrapped her slender arms around mine and showed no intention of letting go. She stuck to me like a shadow, a complete clingy little barnacle.
Come to think of it, I still hadn’t formed a contract with Nidhorn. Every contract condition I’d gone through with the dragons so far had been outrageous—deep kisses, nipple sucking, the works. So what about Nidhorn?
The status window still hadn’t displayed any additional messages.
Well then……maybe I should start by showing her around the city?
In the end I smiled at her and spoke.
“All right. First I’ll show you around the human world.”
Nidhorn’s eyes sparkled.
“Master is……going to walk around with meee?”
“That’s right.”
For a moment she said nothing. When I glanced sideways I saw her face had turned completely scarlet as she hung her head. A soft murmur escaped her lips.
“A d-date with Master……a date with Master……hehe……”
“…….”
And so the five of us ended up strolling through downtown Washington together.
The problem……was Yoo Harin. The aftereffects of yesterday’s anal sex still hadn’t fully faded; her face still looked a little pale. Cardia looked at her and spoke in a comforting tone.
“Do not worry, Harin.”
“Pardon?”
“If we make use of a dragon’s teleportation ability, we will be able to tour the city without any great inconvenience.”
Yoo Harin let out a sigh of relief.
“Whew, that’s a relief.”
The first place we stopped was a café overlooking the Potomac River. Beyond the large glass windows, sightseeing boats drifted leisurely along the water. The early-morning cityscape. Washington’s atmosphere definitely held a different charm from Seoul’s.
“It’s pretty.”
Yoo Harin murmured as she gazed out the window. Sercia nodded as well.
“The human world really is beautiful.”
Cardia stared at the river for a long while before offering a shy smile.
“It appears even more beautiful because I am with Master.”
And Nidhorn……
“…….”
She had her arms wrapped around mine, eyes closed, not moving a muscle.
……Is she asleep?
Even when the drinks we ordered arrived, even when the cake came out, she remained with her fist-sized head resting on my shoulder, breathing softly.
“Um……Nidhorn?”
“Yeees?”
“Doesn’t it get uncomfortable……leaning on me the whole time?”
She slowly shook her head.
“Nooo……Master’s arms……are warm and cozyyy……”
With those words she nuzzled her head against me again, wearing a blissful smile. Looking at that lethal little display, I simply couldn’t bring myself to push her away.
Meanwhile Cardia was doing her best to look unbothered as she sipped her black tea, and Sercia quietly sampled the cake. Both of them were far quieter than usual. Watching the little creature nuzzling against my arm, I thought I could guess why.
Yoo Harin’s reaction, however, was different.
“……Hmph!”
She stuck her lips out a full five paces, snorting repeatedly and shooting disapproving glances my way—more precisely, at Nidhorn clinging to my arm. To act like that toward a disaster-class dragon of all things! While I felt like I was walking a tightrope, I forced the corners of my stiff mouth upward and asked,
“W-What’s wrong?”
“Hmph! It’s nothing, hmph!”
It was very clearly not nothing.
The next moment our eyes met again.
“Hmph!”
“…….”
Watching Yoo Harin whip her head away once more, Sercia murmured in an admiring tone,
“Harin really is brave. In ‘many’ senses of the word.”
Cardia agreed.
“She truly possesses remarkable courage.”
“…….”
I agreed a hundred times over, a thousand times over. The problem was that her courage was a little excessive. Cold sweat trickled down my back, yet Nidhorn herself didn’t seem to care about Yoo Harin’s reaction in the slightest—which, for Yoo Harin, was genuinely fortunate.
After leaving the café we walked through downtown Washington together. Nidhorn still had her slender arms wrapped around mine, looking around everywhere as if everything were brand-new and fascinating.
“M-Master……over there!”
Her small, delicate hand pointed to a large fountain jetting vigorously in front of a luxury hotel.
“It’s really……amazinggg!”
She murmured in a voice so soft it was barely audible.
“Humans make such……fun things, don’t theyyy.”
I smiled faintly and nodded.
“Haha……you’ll get used to it soon.”
“Hehehe……yeees♡”
She curved her eyes adorably and hugged my arm even tighter. Then, blushing shyly, she added,
“……Everything looks even prettier because Master is beside meee.”
Late that afternoon we sat at a table in a private room of a high-end restaurant overlooking the Potomac. A short while later the steaks we had ordered arrived, filling the air with a delicious aroma.
“Let’s eat.”
Just as we were about to start the meal, Nidhorn once again nuzzled her head against my arm. That was when a frosty gaze landed on us. The “Ice Flower,” Yoo Harin, spoke in a voice laced with cold.
“Could you……tone it down a little?”
Ignored. Completely, thoroughly ignored. Left hanging and awkward, Yoo Harin watched as Nidhorn happily rubbed her head against my arm again. She rubbed so hard my arm muscles actually started to ache.
Nuzzle. Nuzzle.
That was when a status window notification appeared.
*Ding!*
Contract with Nidhorn is pending.
It is recommended that you prioritize completing the contract for full companionship with her.
Uh……so what’s the condition?
When I saw the condition that appeared beneath it, my eyes went wide on their own.
Quietly accept her “hand gesture.”
“Hand gesture,” huh…… The phrase left a lot of room for interpretation. The way she was currently leaning on my shoulder and fiddling with my arm could already count as one kind of “hand gesture.” Or……
Nah, no way!
I hurriedly wiped the useless thoughts from my mind. Just then Nidhorn’s expression turned serious; her eyes gleamed meaningfully as she asked,
“Do I……not have any charm at allll?”
Her trembling gaze swept over Cardia’s, Sercia’s, and Yoo Harin’s ample bosoms in turn. Compared to theirs, Nidhorn’s were ordinary—if anything, they looked rather small, a flat-chested size. She hurriedly added,
“If it’s because I look less mature……even if I look like this, I’m way older than those two (she pointed at Sercia and Cardia), you knowww?”
It was the first time I’d ever seen a woman use her age as an appeal quite like that; the novelty was almost refreshing. Meanwhile Cardia and Sercia were barely holding back laughter, their shoulders shaking. The moment they actually laughed they risked instant death, so they too were walking a life-or-death tightrope.
I quickly spoke up.
“N-No……Nidhorn, you’ve got that cool look, a pretty face—your charm isn’t just there, it’s overflowing!”
Her eyes lit up and the corners curved into a smile.
“R-Reallyyy?”
“O-Of course!”
Maybe those words were a mistake. The next moment Nidhorn’s breathing grew rough; she exhaled hotly and continued,
“Th-Then……shall we p-proceed with the contract, M-Master?”
Another chill ran down my spine, yet an even greater curiosity rose to meet it.
Just how is she planning to do this?
What happened next was a sight I could hardly believe even as I watched it with my own two eyes. Still breathing excitedly, Nidhorn’s slender hand slowly began to lower the zipper of my pants.
