Together, the Three of Us (1): Three Confirmations
Night came.
When night settles over the Royal Palace, the magic lamps along the corridors dim. A power-saving mode, more or less — in this world, the lamps tune their brightness to the number of people around them. Empty, and they go dark; someone passes, and they brighten.
Feels good as fuck.
The corridor is dark right now. Because I'm alone.
I stopped in front of the maids' room and knocked on the door. Three times.
"Come in!"
Mia's voice. No tremble in it. Bright. Just like always.
I opened the door.
The maids' room is small — by Royal Palace standards, anyway.
Two single beds stood side by side with a little table between them, a single candle burning. The window was small, its curtains drawn. A rug on the floor, one wardrobe, one washstand.
The two of them sat side by side.
Mia, in nightclothes — a white cotton dress with thin shoulder straps, silver hair let loose to her waist, glinting in the candlelight. Her cheeks were red, but her eyes were resolute.
Nia, in the same nightclothes, the same white cotton dress, her black hair down as well — freed from its twin tails, it reached the middle of her back. Her head was slightly bowed. Cheeks red, eyes anxious.
First, I slid the door's latch open again. Click.
"Let's go over the conditions we agreed on last night. Today, every one of my mental abilities stays off. If you want to stop, tap your palm twice, or just say 'stop.' I won't ask why."
I asked Mia first, on her own.
"You still want to go through with it?"
"Yes. It's what I chose."
I put the same question to Nia, taking my eyes off Mia so the older sister couldn't answer for her, and waited.
"Nia?"
Nia drew three steadying breaths, then looked me full in the face. Her crimson eyes still trembled, but the answer was clear.
"I want to as well. But slowly. And my sister has to be beside me."
"Understood. If either one of you says stop, everything stops."
Mia raised her hand.
"Question. What if you're the one who passes out first?"
"Then that's not a stop. That's a rescue."
Nia laughed — small, but real. The tension dropped a notch for the first time.
Same nightclothes. Same posture. Different expressions.
"I'm here."
"We've been waiting!" Mia said. Nia only nodded.
I closed the door, but I didn't slide the latch home. Anyone who wanted out could open it at any time.
"All right, then."
Silence settled over the room. The candle flame wavered. Nothing to be heard but the breathing of three people.
Mia was the first to rise.
"Do-hyun."
She walked toward me. Barefoot, scuffing across the rug. Closer. Closer still. Right up against me.
...Fuck. With her one layer of nightclothes away and this close to my face, my cock has lifted its head all on its own. A dull, tingling pull tightens in my gut. Hold it. Press it down, hard. Rock fucking hard in front of a nervous woman on the eve of her first time — some bastard I am. I slowed my breathing where she couldn't see it.
It twitched.
I looked up. Crimson eyes, with the candlelight caught in them — a single fleck of gold floating there.
"I'll go first."
Straight down the middle. So very Mia.
"You're not scared?"
"No."
A lie. Her hand is trembling — the one she's laid on my chest. But her eyes don't look away.
"No — I am scared. Honestly, a lot. But... I'm going to see it through."
Mia smiled. A trembling smile. But a real one.
"You always do take the frontal charge, Mia."
"That's what being the big sister is for. I go first."
Behind her, Nia sat on the bed hugging her knees. Her face was red — all the way to her ears. But she didn't turn away. She watched. Quietly watched.
The observer. Nia is always the observer. She looks first, understands, and only then moves.
And bitter as it is, I know exactly what that means. Right now Nia is calculating, head to toe, precisely what it is she wants. She looks pure — and her purity only makes her heavier.
"All right, then."
I laid my hands on Mia's shoulder straps. Thin cotton. Something a single finger could push aside.
"Mm."
Mia answered softly and closed her eyes. Her lashes tremble. Silver lashes.
I slid the straps down. Left. Then right. The white nightgown slipped away with a whisper.
Mia's body.
Small. Slender. But... firm with life. A body built by a maid's work — muscle laid down from hauling laundry, hauling water, scrubbing floors, hidden under soft skin.
Her breasts are small but beautifully shaped, like peaks with pale pink at their crests. So the people of this world are pink there too — today's first discovery.
Her waist is slim; her hips small but round. Her legs are long and straight. Her bare toes are clutching the rug. Nerves.
"...I'm embarrassed." Mia said it without opening her eyes.
"You're beautiful."
"Really?"
"Really."
Mia opened her eyes. Her crimson eyes glistened. Glistening with joy.
"Thank you. For saying that about me... it makes me so happy."
Mia's tears. Mia cries when she's happy, too. A woman with far too much emotion in her — any feeling, once it overflows, comes out as tears.
...And I am the bastard who makes use of that overflow. I know it full well, and I don't stop. It's fucked up, but it's the truth.
I led her to the bed, Mia following on bare, scuffing feet, and laid her down on it.
"Mmm..."
Mia made to pull the blanket over herself. I caught her hand.
"It's all right. You don't have to hide."
Mia nodded. Trembling, but she nodded.
I undressed. Shirt. Trousers. Underclothes.
Mia's eyes went wide.
"...It's big."
Twenty-six centimeters. The size of a Level 3 — more than twice the average man of this world.
"That... that's going inside me?"
Nia's voice drifted over from behind — words that had slipped out before she knew it. She startled herself and clapped a hand over her mouth.
Mia shot up to sitting and stared, unblinking, at what stood before her eyes.
"...It's terrifying."
An honest impression.
"I'll go slow."
"No."
Mia shook her head.
"I'm going all the way. Frontal charge."
So Mia. Fuck — so completely Mia.
I used no abilities. Instead I took longer with the preparation, easing her open with hands and lips until there was no hurry left in it, and let Mia take my wrist herself and decide what came next. Not rushing her first time — that was today's first promise.
I laid Mia back down and settled between her legs.
"Ready?"
"Yes."
She didn't close her eyes. Mia didn't close her eyes. She looked straight ahead — at me, and at what was mine.
I pushed in, slowly.
"Ah...!"
Mia's hands seized the sheets. Her back lifted slightly. Her eyes went wide. Her mouth fell open.
Three centimeters. Five. Seven. Slowly. Very slowly.
"It's... it's so big... Ah, it's strange... my belly feels strange..."
Mia's voice trembles. Not with pain — with unfamiliarity.
When Mia tapped her palm once, I stopped at once. The second tap never came. Only after her breathing lengthened and she shifted her hips a little of her own accord did I go on.
About halfway in, Mia grabbed my arm.
"Wait... wait, just... one moment..."
I stopped.
Mia catches her breath. Hoo. Hoo. Her chest rises and falls. Silver hair clings to her forehead. Sweat.
"...You all right?"
"Yes... yes, I'm fine. Just... give me a moment to get used to it..."
Ten seconds. Twenty. Mia's breathing steadies.
"...Come to me."
Mia said it and spread both arms wide. A posture welcoming me in.
I pushed in the rest of the way.
"Aaahhh...!!"
Mia's back bent like a drawn bow. Both arms wrapped around me, nails digging in; her legs locked around my waist.
"So... so full... I'm so full inside..."
Her breathing is ragged — Mia's is. Tears pool in her eyes. Not tears of pain. Tears of being overwhelmed.
I began a rhythm. Slow. Like a tide — surge in, draw out, surge in, draw out.
"Ah... mmm... hah..."
Mia's moans fill the room — the little maids' room, its stone walls boxing the sound in, her voice echoing off them.
Mia doesn't hide her sounds. So like her. Emotion comes straight out of her: happy, and she laughs at once; hurt, and she cries at once; feeling good, and the sounds come at once.
"It's good... it feels good... it's strange, what is this... Ah, mmm!"
I kept my abilities sealed to the very end. I held to the rhythm Mia had set, and every time the depth changed I asked with words instead of reading her face.
"Aaahhh...!! Do-hyun... Do-hyun...!!"
Mia's voice climbs. Her body shudders. Her nails score lines down my back.
I quickened the pace. Bit by bit, watching her reactions.
"Ah, ah, ah! Something's coming — something's swelling up inside me..."
Her climax is close. Mia's first.
Fuck, this is incredible.
"Let go."
"...Of what?"
"All of it."
Mia looked at me. Tears brimming in her crimson eyes. Unguarded. Purely, helplessly unguarded.
...Looking into eyes this unguarded, now and then I remember that I am breaking people. And still I can't stop. A confession as honest as it is fucked.
I drove in deep, one last time.
"Aaaaahhh...!!"
Mia's body went rigid. Back arched like a bow, legs clamping tight around my waist, hands raking down my back. Her head fell back, silver hair rippling across the pillow.
Five seconds. Ten. Mia's climax.
Her body went slack, melting into the sheets. She gulps for air, chest heaving hard.
"...What was that..."
Mia murmured it, eyes glazed.
"Your first."
"My... first?"
"We're not done yet."
Mia's eyes went wide.
A sound came from behind me.
A small sound. The sound of someone holding her breath.
Nia.
I turned my head. Nia was sitting on the opposite bed, kneeling, both hands clutching the hem of her nightgown. Face red. Eyes huge. Lips bitten.
She had seen all of it. Start to finish.
In Nia's eyes there is... fear. But underneath that... curiosity. And deeper still... longing.
"Nia."
"...Yes."
A trembling voice.
"Do you want to come up too?"
Nia froze. Three seconds. Five.
Mia pushed herself up on the bed, legs still boneless, silver hair still tangled.
"Nia. Come here."
The older sister's voice. The same voice that had been moaning moments ago... soft now. A voice made to soothe.
"...I'm scared." Nia said it barely above a whisper.
"I was scared too. But Do-hyun is so gentle with you. Really."
Mia held out her hand from the bed, toward Nia.
The older sister is drawing the younger sister toward me — and she means every bit of it. Fucked up, isn't it. The consequences of everything I've done come back to me wrapped up in such pretty paper.
Nia rose. Slowly. Bare feet on the rug. One step. Two. She took Mia's hand.
Mia drew her up onto the bed.
Three of us on one bed.
A single bed. Narrow. But the warmth of three bodies makes it close.
"Nia."
I looked at her. Black hair slipping down beside her face. Tears pooled in her crimson eyes. She's trembling — all over.
"I'll take it slow. I will never hurt you."
"...Okay."
I undressed Nia. Slowly — sliding the straps down one shoulder, then the other.
Nia's body.
The same as Mia's, and different. A body born of the same genes, the same frame, the same proportions — but a touch softer than Mia's, the muscle less firm. While Mia was running herself ragged, Nia was sitting still, watching.
Her breasts are slightly larger than her sister's. Only just. A matter of body fat. The color at their crests is the same. Pale pink.
Her waist is slim, her hips a shade fuller than Mia's. Legs long and straight, but with gentler lines.
The same body. A different feel. The fine grain of difference between twins.
"I'm embarrassed..."
Nia covered her chest with both arms.
"Don't hide."
Mia lowered Nia's arms — an older sister's hands.
"Nia, you're beautiful. Truly."
Mia said it, and Nia wept. Quietly. Mia took her hand.
I laid Nia down, and Mia lay beside her without letting go.
I used no abilities on Nia either. Mia held her hand, and I moved only as far as Nia's nods allowed.
I settled between her legs.
"Do-hyun."
Nia looked at me. Tears are running now. But she isn't running.
"...Please."
I pushed in slowly. Slower than with Mia. A centimeter at a time.
"Nn...!"
Nia crushed Mia's hand in hers. Mia squeezed back.
"It's okay, Nia. Your sister's right here."
"Ah... it's strange... my belly..."
The same reaction as Mia. The same genes. But Nia swallows her sounds — lips pressed shut, and you can hear her gulp them down her throat.
If Mia is the type who lets sound out, Nia is the type who holds it in.
Halfway.
"Nnh... it's... it's big..."
Tears spilled from Nia's eyes. It doesn't hurt — I've tuned the sensation. But it's overwhelming. The sheer force of a first time.
"You okay?"
"...Yes. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't hurt, but..."
Nia looked up into my face.
"What is this..."
Pure bewilderment at a sensation she has no name for. It doesn't hurt. But something is filling her to the brim, something inside her pushing to be let in. This isn't pain... it's presence.
I pressed in the rest of the way.
"Ah...!!"
Nia buried her face against my chest, still gripping Mia's hand, shoulders shaking.
"Nia?"
"...I'm fine. Just a moment... give me a moment..."
Thirty seconds. Time for Nia to adjust. Longer than her sister needed. She's the careful one.
"...You can move now."
A small voice. Permission granted.
I moved slowly. Gentler than with Mia. More careful still.
"Mmm... hah... nn..."
Nia's moans. Nothing like Mia's. If Mia is a song, Nia is a whisper — sounds leaking from inside her mouth, half-strangled attempts at silence that keep failing.
"You can make noise, Nia."
"...It's embarrassing..."
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about. You heard your sister."
"My sister is my sister..."
Mia giggled beside her.
"Make some noise, Nia. Do-hyun will like it."
"Sis!!"
Nia's cheeks flared scarlet — and in that exact moment, I drove in deep on the rhythm.
"Aaahh!!"
The sound escaped. A sound she couldn't hold. Nia clapped both hands over her mouth. Too late.
"You just made a sound, didn't you?"
"I did not!"
"You did~" Mia sing-songed.
"Meanie, Sis!!"
A sisters' quarrel, in the middle of all this. A laugh bursts out of me.
It feels fucking wonderful. And it is a fucking insane thing to be doing. Both are true, so I just laugh.
I used no abilities this time either. When Nia's legs began to tremble, I dropped the pace a notch.
"Nnh...!! Ah — wait, what... what is this, what is happening..."
Nia's body was starting to respond. Sweat beading on her skin, black hair sticking to her forehead. Her hand let go of the sheets and seized my arm instead.
"Do-hyun... something... something's wrong with me..."
"Wrong is exactly what it should feel like."
"Inside my belly... something's swelling up..."
Her climax is closing in.
"Let it go."
"I'm scared..."
"It's all right. I've got you."
I took Nia's hand — her left in mine, her right still in Mia's.
The final rhythm. Deep.
"Ah...!!"
Nia's first climax.
Not as violent as Mia's. But deeper. Her whole body shivered; her eyes shut, tears slipping free, mouth open on a soundless scream.
Five seconds. Ten. Fifteen. Longer than Mia's.
Her body went limp, melted, gasping.
"...Ah."
Nia opened her eyes. Dazed. Staring at the ceiling.
"It didn't even hurt... what is this..."
Her first words.
Mia giggled beside her.
"Right? There aren't even words for it, are there?"
"...No."
Nia looked at Mia. Mia looked at Nia. Twins who had shared the same experience. With the same man. In the same bed.
And both of them... smiled.
Shy, bewildered — but happy.
Dawn.
Three of us lie on a single bed. Narrow. Very narrow. But nobody complains.
Mia is on my right, silver hair spread over my chest. Asleep. She fell asleep smiling — even in sleep, the corners of her mouth stay turned up.
Nia is on my left, black hair draped across my shoulder. Not asleep. Her eyes are closed, but her breathing isn't the breathing of the sleeping.
"Nia."
"...Yes."
"Not sleeping?"
"...I can't."
"Why?"
"...Because I'm happy."
A small voice. Smaller than a whisper.
Nia's hand found mine in the dark. Our fingers laced together.
"Today... thank you."
"For what?"
"For making it not scary. For letting my sister stay beside me. And... for liking me."
Nia's hand trembles. A trembling of feeling.
"Tomorrow too?"
"Yeah."
"The day after, too?"
"Yeah."
"...Always?"
"Always."
Nia buried her face in my chest. Damp. She's crying again.
Nia cries when she's happy too. Like Mia. Twins even weep on the same schedule.
I closed my eyes.
Silver on the right. Black on the left. Two colors of hair mingling across my chest.
Twins. My twins.
...When I answered 'always,' I wasn't lying. That's the frightening part. That I meant it.
The first night passes.
A first night beautiful as fuck.
Just before sleep takes me, Nia turns the small hand mirror on the wall face-down.
"Why?"
"Just now, it showed four of us. Not three."
Mia bolted upright, and I stood the mirror back up. Under the candlelight there was only the three of us.
But in the dust along the mirror's frame, thirteen lines had been scored — as though someone had traced them there with a black-gloved finger.
Only the first line was red.
