Amurotica Amusement Park Review Contest!
After thirty minutes had passed, I was finally able to leave the amusement park.
The fluffy ones sure were cute.
Everyone felt the urge to give them a good squeeze. They each had their own distinct personalities, but if you measured their cuteness on a numerical scale, they came in at about 0.3 Marys.
I definitely have to visit them again.
The place I returned to was the subway station anomaly space.
It stretched endlessly in every direction and even connected to other anomaly spaces. Still, it was a vast area that was relatively less dangerous than most.
It did take quite a while to get back, but with no injuries, there wasn’t any major problem.
There was virtually no chance of encountering the subway villains on the way back. That was thanks to the dedicated agents assigned exclusively to them—commonly known as Agents—who worked day and night. Because of their efforts, we could return to the Response Bureau in comfort.
The first stop was the Civilian Response Division. It was the department primarily responsible for civilians caught up in anomaly events. I dropped by to label the collection box and deposit the meat skewers inside.
After verification, the families of the missing persons would be contacted.
Next, I stopped at the hospital. It had an official name like Medical Support Division, but among agents it was simply called the hospital.
I had visited it often for mental contamination screenings.
“What brings you in today?”
“Nothing serious.”
“That makes sense. In truly serious cases, we usually can’t hold a conversation like this.”
When I calmly explained my current condition, the doctor’s expression stiffened.
“You’re saying if that balloon you’re holding pops, your heart will burst at the exact same moment?”
“Pretty much.”
“We’re taking you into surgery immediately.”
The surgery and treatment were over in the blink of an eye.
As expected of the Response Bureau.
They seemed far more skilled at dismantling humans than at handling anomaly phenomena.
While I lay in the hospital bed waiting for Tosam to resurrect, Ha Taewon and Nahee appeared. Since they had gone on ahead, they must have returned quickly.
Nahee was missing one leg. Ha Taewon was missing both arms.
At this level, everyone’s basically fine.
It was the standard sight of agents returning from a mission.
“Shall we start by sharing information?”
The ways each of us had escaped the amusement park were all different.
“I disguised myself as staff and slipped out through the employee quarters.”
“The safety bar on the gyro drop came undone, so I flew right out. After riding it about ten times, I finally escaped. I saw other visitors flying off too, so it looks like that’s just how the ride works.”
A method for civilians to escape had yet to be discovered, but there were still some gains.
“Right at the end, the blue dragon train looked like it was about to breathe fire? It must be one of the rides in Extreme Land. The attractions there are too intense for normal people. I lost both my hands there myself.”
“So that’s how they ended up in Fresh Garden.”
“Fresh Garden?”
“Yeah. The stall owner picked them up there and sold them as skewers. Want some?”
“I’m good.”
When I checked Ha Taewon’s action cam, Extreme Land turned out to be an area packed with rides that pursued the absolute limit.
“We should avoid Fresh Garden too.”
Fresh Garden was just as dangerous. A theme park where every surface from floor to wall writhed with living flesh gave off its own unique, disturbing aura.
On the map it was listed as the location of the infirmary, but it seemed entirely possible to be devoured by the park itself while trying to receive treatment.
The information gained from this exploration ended there.
One additional useful detail was that the longer you stayed, the harder it became to suppress laughter from pure joy and the stronger the urge to fully enjoy the amusement park grew.
As expected, the information is far too lacking.
I wanted to adopt the anomalies as quickly as possible, but without knowledge it was difficult to take any action.
If I could just obtain solid information somehow….
If I had known about the Long-Legged Uncle anomaly in advance, I could have prepared better options.
If we compiled every piece of information, we could prevent incidents like this.
The sight of human flesh splattering everywhere is disgusting.
While the others gathered information on the anomalies, I entered the anomaly gallery.
The post regeneration had been so slow I thought the place was truly finished, but it seemed to be regaining its vitality.
It’s still incomplete. If only Fresh Garden had been finished, it wouldn’t have been bad.
The service was decent so I thought it might improve later, but suddenly all the staff got replaced and the whole atmosphere went gloomy.
What happened? All the fun has completely vanished.
What did you expect?
There’s no such thing.
Let’s go.
Why don’t women have a standing pee posture? Aiming is ridiculously hard.
I was working hard until a moment ago, but I felt someone staring and looked over to see a girl who looked incredibly soft watching me. She was working hard too. Feeling friendly, I looked at her face—oh god, the person reflected in the glass was me…
The posts from anomalies who appeared to be staff were nothing but self-satisfaction with no real substance, and the reviews from those who had visited the amusement park contained no quality content, only harsh criticism.
At least leave some photos…. That’s the bare minimum.
Any detailed reviews? It would be nice to have explanations along with photos. I want to go but my circumstances won’t allow it.
Reactions are this bad and the boss still told them not to talk?
It seemed I wouldn’t be able to get the information I wanted from the staff.
This won’t do.
To obtain information, I needed to make other anomalies visit the amusement park and have them post reviews on the gallery.
I guess that’s the only way.
