Chapter 4. Broadcast Preparation
One week had passed since I made up my mind to start broadcasting.
During that time, the task I focused on most was Latin translation.
Classical literature is fundamentally public domain. It means they are works for which property rights have been waived or have expired entirely for the public good. Since the copyright had expired, I could use them freely.
Centering on open archives of Latin literature, I selected and excerpted 16th-century academic and religious texts, organized them, and uploaded the translations to my blog.
Theological treatises, philosophical fragments, alchemy books, natural philosophy texts, historical records, ritual texts, and even collections of maxims. I truly didn't discriminate between genres.
When translating, I didn't stop at simply transferring sentences. I organized the historical context, subtle nuances of terms, and the theological and philosophical background of the time, adding them like footnotes. So the reader could understand, but without harming the breath of the original text.
16th-century Latin was no different from a mother tongue to me. The mutterings of priests I heard in passing when locked in prison. The language engraved inside me because of that.
Thanks to that, the translation was fast and accurate. I could handle one piece a day, or even two when I did a lot, without any trouble.
The view count wasn't high yet, but the posts piled up steadily.
Every time I saw the list of translations organized by date stacking up at the top of the blog, I felt a conviction that this would someday become my portfolio.

In the photo, I was wearing a cardigan over a thick knit sweater. It was the most conservative outfit possible. Since I was dealing with classical literature and religious texts, I wanted my image to match that.
And yet….

Looking at the photo, the outline of my chest was revealed more explicitly than I thought. No matter how thick the clothes I wore, the curves of this body were not easily hidden.
Just how noticeable that was shown immediately in the reactions.

It had been barely a week since I created the account. The number of friends had already far exceeded a thousand.
But the content of the comments….

Most were focused on my appearance.

There were some people who showed interest in the translation or the religious text itself, but cases where they actually read the text and approached were rare.
- By any chance, are you interested in our cathedral’s youth group gathering? I thought it would be good to interact with people of the same faith^^
- We have a prayer meeting every Wednesday evening at our church, I think you’d receive a lot of grace if you came once!
- I read the translation of Thomas Aquinas with deep impression. We have a theology seminar at our cathedral next Saturday, may I ask if you can attend?

No, so far there were simply none. The intentions to approach by pretending to have common interests were clearly visible.

I am satisfied with succeeding in drawing attention for now.
In the worst case, meaning if viewers didn't gather when I started broadcasting. Because a method to promote through Rollbook had been created.
However, that is the last resort.
For the broadcast, I will compete purely with Tarot as much as possible.

Since it is a fact that I am using Tarot, anyway.
In any case, the translation work was very smooth.
During other times, I mainly was active in a place called 'Tarot Gallery'. It was a community where people interested in Tarot gathered, and the majority were posts requesting interpretations.

I created a fixed nickname called ‘DailyTarot’ there and was active. I lived up to the nickname by reading tarot only once a day.
And it didn't take even a week to become a "Named" (famous) user.
The reason was simple.
Because I was incredibly accurate.
Usually, people who are evaluated as reading Tarot well were closer to ‘people who weave the meaning of the cards plausibly’. Those who find clues in the querent's story and unravel tangled worries with clear language.
But I was different.
I didn't leave ambiguous possibilities or room for interpretation. I asserted the conclusion shown by the cards, just as my intuition dictated.
As if I already knew the answer.

Since it was an anonymous community, there were not a few cases where the story itself was a lie or the card arrangement was manipulated. Usually, such posts felt like my ability couldn't reach them. Like looking through blurry glass.
But this post was different. Both the cards and the question felt distinct.
The card uploaded by the poster was just one.

One Card Spread.
As it divines with one card, it is the simplest arrangement method, but that did not mean the ease of reading. Since multiple meanings were superimposed on a single Tarot card. Rather, it was a method where it was easy to blur the conclusion if not skilled.

The image of the Tower Arcana crumbled in my head. The tower split, the stone walls collapsed, and within it, only one truth remained.

L GN: Reading the Arcana f*cking weirdly. How did you interpret Wands 2, Moon, and Star like that?
L Gigimyomyo: She interpreted well, what are you saying is weird.
L GN: No, it’s true she interpreted well, but I don’t understand through what thinking process that conclusion came out;;
L GN: If you look at the conclusion first, it makes sense, but looking at the Arcana, I don’t know how the hell one draws that conclusion.

My name started to spread in the gallery.
- That DailyTarot person seems to have spiritual power?
- Why does she only read once a dayㅜㅜ
Suspicion also followed.
- The interpretation is too arbitrary.
- Why read Tarot so intuitively like that?
- It’s just coincidence.
However, the reactions of people who experienced it directly were different.
- So what if the reading is arbitrary lol It’s all correct lol.
- Isn't it better if it's intuitive? (Genuinely don't know).
- The inferiority complex is intense. If there’s someone good, you should think about learning tsk tsk tsk.
I calmly observed those reactions and reached a conclusion.
‘Now… the time has come.’
One miracle a day was enough. The next stage will be a wider place. Meaning, it is the point to start broadcasting.
The Tarot using my ability could only be read once a day. I calculated that would be enough.
From what I checked so far, even ordinary Tarot readings without using the ability were surprisingly accurate when I did them. However, in that case, intuitive interpretations didn't spontaneously come to mind, so I had to rely entirely on my skill for the reading.
‘So I kept studying.’
Nothing was particularly difficult. Because I had a clear standard.
There was no need to look up interpretations of cards floating around the internet. It was enough to engrave the image of each Arcana rising in my mind, its symbols, and the flow deep in my heart.

When I decided to walk the path of a streamer, my ability had grown one step further. Now, I could imbue energy into [THE STAR].
Since then, every time before the energy I could contain became full, I was infusing a little bit of energy into the card.
Because I used my ability to read fortunes once a day in the Tarot Gallery, I couldn't store that large of an amount. Still, if necessary, I could save enough to read fortunes an additional two or three times.
And one more thing.

There was a very important fact I learned while interpreting people's fortunes in the Tarot Gallery.
Every time the consumed energy fills up, the total amount of energy I can contain increases very minutely.
I already knew this fact itself.
But I only recently realized that there are cases where the magnitude of growth changes.
‘When people receive a genuinely positive influence from my advice….’
Whenever that happened, the growth magnitude became noticeably larger.
It seems.
