Chapter 185: Sitri (1)
Chapter 185: Sitri (1)
Han Shin’s initial plan was to have a light cup of tea somewhere downstairs in the hotel.
However, as soon as he stepped out of the elevator and walked a short distance, he realized he had overlooked something.
Because Han Shin habitually used a Perception Distortion Artifact, people rarely paid him any mind as long as he didn't do anything particularly conspicuous.
But now, he could feel everyone’s gaze snapping toward him.
Or rather, toward the purple-haired woman standing right beside him.
He realized his mistake.
‘Ugh, I’m an idiot.’
It was only natural for someone with such stunning beauty to draw eyes. Even Han Shin himself had been struck by her looks, so it was obvious others would feel the same.
‘Maybe I should just apologize and part ways...’
Even with the Perception Distortion Artifact, drawing this much attention wasn't ideal.
But before Han Shin could say a word, Sitri beat him to it. She turned toward him and spoke first.
“If the attention is too burdensome, would you like to come to my room instead? I can serve you there.”
“...Yes, let’s do that.”
Faced with Sitri’s shimmering, expectant eyes, Han Shin couldn't bring himself to refuse or run away.
Moreover, he figured she must have been terrified after nearly being raped by those thugs the night before. The fact that she was inviting him to her room to show her gratitude felt like a proposal that required a great deal of courage on her part, which made it even harder to say no.
Inside, Sitri was overjoyed by Han Shin’s positive response.
While she didn't know his exact identity yet, she had picked up on the fact that he disliked being noticed by others.
Until yesterday, having humans stare at her the moment she stepped out of an elevator was nothing but an annoyance. Now, however, she was grateful for it.
The two headed back up the elevator and entered Sitri’s room, which happened to be right next to the one Han Shin was staying in.
‘The layout really is the same.’
Being adjacent rooms, they were identical.
Of course, there was one major difference: in Han Shin’s room, Kang Yujin, Grace, and Laysia were currently fast asleep on the bed, their faces filled with bliss after receiving his semen.
“Please, have a seat.”
“Ah... yes.”
Sitri gestured toward the table. Since each room was equipped with basic tea-making facilities, she immediately began preparing some for him.
Fortunately, she had tried making it once before going to bed the previous night, so she knew the process. It didn't take long for her to serve the tea.
“I’ll enjoy this.”
“Thank you so much for helping me yesterday.”
As Han Shin bowed his head slightly and politely accepted the tea, Sitri felt her heart flutter for no apparent reason.
‘Why am I acting like this...?’
Sitri realized she was feeling incredibly giddy just from hosting Han Shin like this. She tried to calm herself, but her emotions were beyond her control. Beyond that, a growing desire to know more about him began to bloom in her heart, filling her mind.
‘What is this man’s name? What does he really look like?’
This was the first time Sitri had ever felt such interest in someone—especially a human—and she couldn't quite understand her own behavior. She wanted to see the true face hidden behind the very ordinary one he currently wore.
‘I have to stay on Earth for a while anyway, and I’ll need someone’s help... If I could get it from this man...’
Other thoughts began to creep in. She started wondering how she could weave Han Shin into her current situation to get closer to him.
Logically speaking, since Han Shin was hiding his face and identity, he was a potential danger that she shouldn't even consider approaching.
However, Sitri’s logic was currently a bit paralyzed.
In the process of coming to Earth, she had led all the subordinates who followed her to their deaths. In a way, she was the sole survivor, saved by their sacrifice. This left her burdened with a sense of guilt toward them.
Furthermore, although she had survived, she didn't have a single drop of dark mana left in her—and worse, there were no signs of it returning. Even when she examined her own body, she couldn't find anything physically wrong, leaving her completely at a loss as to why this was happening.
Having once possessed great power only to be left with nothing, she was naturally overwhelmed by a sense of helplessness.
Combined, these factors meant Sitri was at her weakest—both physically and psychologically.
In such a state, Han Shin’s help made him appear to her like a prince on a white horse. He had helped her unexpectedly and without any ulterior motives.
Sitri had been suspicious until the very end, but she became convinced of his pure intentions when he disappeared yesterday without asking for anything, and even now, he seemed reluctant to be rewarded.
Naturally, she found herself more and more drawn to the man before her.
She was completely unaware that this man was the "Knight," the greatest thorn in the side of the demons...
Han Shin, for his part, was equally unsuspecting of Sitri.
Since the Pu-erh tea was too hot to gulp down, he sipped it slowly, savoring the flavor. He couldn't have imagined in his wildest dreams that the purple-haired woman staring intently at him, her hands fidgeting around her teacup, was a demon.
Han Shin had no way of knowing. He had never seen her before, and Sitri’s body was currently devoid of dark mana, appearing perfectly clean.
There wasn't even a hint of an anomaly for him to notice. To Han Shin, she was simply an unlucky beauty who had almost suffered a terrible fate the night before.
A brief silence followed as they sipped their tea.
Han Shin knew he shouldn't give her any openings to discover his identity. He intended to leave as soon as he finished his tea; there was no need for a long conversation. It was only taking a bit of time because the tea was too hot to finish quickly.
As the tea in his cup neared the bottom...
‘It’s almost gone. I’ll finish this and head out.’
He planned to leave the moment he set the cup down.
‘But why is it so hot in here...?’
Han Shin felt a strange heat rising in his body. It had been a very short time—not even long enough to finish a single cup of tea—but he found his eyes repeatedly drawn to Sitri.
Sitri smiled as she watched Han Shin repeatedly glance at her, only to force his gaze away and hang his head.
‘My ability is working.’
Succubi were a race of lustful nature, capable of emitting pheromones that could arouse and seduce males.
Interestingly, Sitri usually only used this ability during combat to break a male opponent's focus or during political negotiations to gain a slight upper hand.
‘I have no choice. I need someone’s help in my current situation...’
Sitri was making excuses to herself, but deep down, her desire to get closer to Han Shin because she liked him was much stronger.
Han Shin gritted his teeth.
He was flustered by the uncontrollable arousal surging through his body. Despite his conscious efforts to avoid her, his eyes kept drifting back to Sitri.
Feigning ignorance, Sitri spoke with a worried expression.
“Um... are you alright?”
“Ugh... I should be going now.”
Exerting superhuman willpower, Han Shin managed to stand up and turn away. He felt like he was going crazy. He had saved her from a crisis yesterday, but if he stayed like this in his strangely aroused state, he felt like he might lose control and pounce on her.
‘I have to get out of here, fast.’
Sitri was slightly surprised that Han Shin was able to resist her temptation and turn away, but that only made her want him more.
“Wait!”
Sitri rushed forward and hugged Han Shin from behind as he tried to leave.
The sensation of her large, soft breasts pressing against his back nearly drove him over the edge.
“Because you saved me yesterday... I want to have a serious relationship with you. Do you... do you dislike me?”
Han Shin had already been feeling like his libido was becoming unmanageable lately, especially after his encounters with Kang Yujin, Grace, and Laysia earlier today.
As Sitri pressed herself against his back and boldly expressed her affection, his reason began to blur.
The pheromones of a high-level succubus hit Han Shin with even greater intensity now that she was making direct physical contact.
His self-control began to bottom out. Han Shin had the strength to shake Sitri off and leave, but he found himself unable to do so.
