August 5th. Monday.
My little sister demanded her morning load again today, and the moment I woke up, I blasted it straight into her mouth.
Staring at Kang Jia's face as she slurped up the last drop dangling from the tip of my cock right after I came, I hoped some new 'memory' might surface. But nothing new came.
Like a quest that wouldn't progress because I'd skipped the step to check the 'scenery beyond the village boundary.' Frustrating.
I confirmed Kang Jia had gone off to brush her teeth, then headed downstairs to at least peek at the front door. But she appeared out of nowhere like a ghost and called out to me.
"Oppa... where you going? Why're you so fidgety..?"
"Uh, uh? Nah, nothing. Just got some extra energy, that's all."
"Hng... really? Extra energy? So you can still shoot a ton more cum, right?"
That damn cum obsession of hers.
"I could, but Oppa’s kinda tired, Jia. C'mon, cut me some slack."
"Tch... fine! Then get back to your room. I go crazy just thinking about you sneaking outside! If I catch you near the door again, you're in trouble. Got it?"
She pouted, throwing a tantrum.
"...Yeah, got it."
"You made Jia all anxious, so I'm coming for more cum before bed tonight! So take a nap. Gotta make lotsa cum, okay?"
Pathetic.
A life where even wandering around the house is controlled. I felt like a dairy cow being forcibly milked.
Anyway, first things first—head to my room's bathroom and check my smartphone again. Maybe I missed something. I hadn't checked the list of installed apps yet.
Click.
I locked the bathroom door the second I got in.
Even Kang Jia wouldn't complain if I said I was taking a big one.
If she knocked and made a fuss, I'd just open up, apologize, and make excuses.
I stepped onto the toilet tank to pry open the ceiling duct panel where I'd hidden the phone yesterday.
Creeeak—
Pushing the duct up released a musty stench that stung my nose.
The distinctive fishy reek of dampness lingering on cement walls for ages—it was gross.
"Where'd I put it..."
I shoved my hand into the ceiling and groped around, but without seeing it, I couldn't grab the damn phone. I'd shoved it too deep last time to avoid getting caught.
"Ugh..."
My arm went numb, and when I pulled out, my hand was caked in black grime.
Gross.
Better to just stick my head in there and spot it properly.
Whoooosh—
A creepy breeze blew from deep inside the ceiling hole.
A pitch-black void.
A sealed-off spot who-knows-how-many years old, packed with dust and mold. The thought of shoving my head in there made my skin crawl, but no choice.
I braced my foot firmly on the toilet tank and thrust my face into the hole.
"Phew...!"
Ugh... dust everywhere. Every breath sucked moldy particles straight into my nostrils...
I wanted to find the phone fast, but my eyes hadn't adjusted to the dark yet.
I took shallow breaths and waited.
The stifling air inside the ceiling pressed in.
Huff— huff—
Was some ventilation fan connected to the house running? A weirdly warm gust blew from far off.
A few seconds passed.
The smell was getting nastier.
Thankfully, my vision was adapting to the dark—the faint light from below started revealing the ceiling's interior bit by bit.
Hoooosh— hoooosh—
Just as I started rolling my eyes to search for the phone.
I noticed the wind sound from before had grown louder.
'What the...?'
My nape felt hot for some reason.
My sight fully adjusted now, and I spotted the phone. I reached through the gap between my neck and the hole, grabbing it.
Just gotta pull my head out now—
That's when I felt it: right behind my head, a hot, sticky stench.
Hoooosh—! Crunch... cruuuunch... creak...
I wrenched my neck around with a grinding pop to look back.
And regretted it instantly.
There.
It was there.
Skritch skritch skritch skritch
A human-sized head covered in opaque, muddy-brown shell. A greasy surface gleaming unpleasantly. Bulging eyes like burnt glass marbles, pitch-black and cold.
A massive maw bristling with spine-like hairs, constantly scraping and writhing to shove prey inside.
Worse still, every time its jaws parted slightly, I glimpsed the interior: tooth-like structures wriggling, spewing viscous, nauseating digestive juices.
But the absolute worst—the thing shredding my brain with peak revulsion—was that freakishly long antenna.
Like a military vehicle antenna, stretched out like a tentacle probing for prey. Ssssh— Two thin, needle-tipped feelers writhed endlessly, whipping the air until they grazed my face.
A visceral disgust hit me like a high-voltage shock. I lost my balance.
"G-g-gaaaahhh!!!"
Thud!
I screamed loud enough to bring the house down, tumbling to the bathroom floor without a thought for Kang Jia hearing.
Pain like my tailbone shattering stabbed through me, but the terror and loathing dwarfed it. Chills raced from my nape to my toes.
Grrruuumble...
It was peering out from the ceiling hole, antenna and head extended, staring at me.
A head bigger than mine. Human-sized.
A cockroach.
Not just any cockroach.
A grotesque hybrid of human and roach.
The kind of nightmare abomination from a horror game.
Even normal roaches are disgusting, but human-sized? If biology had no limits, a giant roach could hit 300 km/h, leap 20 meters, crush concrete with its mandibles—an unstoppable monster.
What started as pure disgust filtered through reason, morphing into raw fear of death.
No escaping a cockroach monster dangling its head from the ceiling.
The second I turned my back, those six legs would latch on, and those steel jaws would chew through my skull.
'H-help... someone...'
Who, though?
The only one I could call for help was Kang Jia.
I jammed the smartphone in my pocket and yelled.
Praying my voice wouldn't provoke the thing.
"K-Kang Jia!!"
Bang!
"O-Oppa? What's wrong? What happened?!"
Crack— snap!
Had she sprinted since my scream? Kang Jia smashed the doorknob and flung the bathroom door open.
I'd been leaning against it and sprawled into the room. She yanked me back by the collar.
"Wh-what's wrong? Huh? Tell me, Oppa."
"Huff! Huff! Huff!"
Drool poured from my mouth.
My heart was gonna explode.
"Huff...! Huff...! Huff!... F-fuck... fuck!... What the hell was that. What the fuck is this house."
There was a reason my past self hadn't hidden the phone in the bathroom duct—too risky. He'd stashed it in a hollow book on my bedroom shelf instead.
Past me must've encountered that thing too.
Squeeze!
Kang Jia hugged me from behind.
"Oppa, what's wrong? I'm right here. Calm down. Huh? What happened? Why'd you freak out so bad?"
Stroke. Stroke.
Her arms wrapped around me, hands rubbing my forearms.
That touch, which I'd only seen as creepy before, felt goddamn warm and reassuring now.
"Th-the ceiling... cockroach in the ceiling."
"What?"
Snicker.
"No way, Oppa got so scared of a cockroach he screamed for his little sis to save him?"
"No, it wasn't just a cockroach—it was fucking huge, like human-sized...!"
"Where? Gone now."
I whipped around to the duct. The monster from before had vanished.
Just that black maw of a hole gaping horrifically.
"Hee hee hee... Oppa is so cute. What a dummy.."
Mwah mwah mwah♡
She peppered my cheeks with kisses like it was adorable, the way a kid hides from bugs behind Mom.
This bullshit...
"No, there was seriously a human-sized cockroach!!"
"Nyeeeh~ nyeeeh~ Aww, scaredy-cat? Huh? Didn't know my big bro was so terrified of roaches! Gotta note this down. Hee hee... Ah! Shoulda snapped a pic of that freaked-out face."
Mwah♡ mwah♡
"Ahng♡"
Kang Jia kept kissing, then nibbled my earlobe.
Reassuring and warm? Like hell...
This stalker bitch just says whatever she wants.
But I couldn't push her away.
That cockroach was way scarier than Kang Jia, for sure.
What a weird relationship.
Surrounded by nothing but predators.
Depending on one monster to protect me from the others.
I wanted out of this fucked-up world ASAP.
The alienation I'd felt since waking that rainy August 1st night was crystal clear now. This world wasn't normal. A superpowered stalker sister kidnapping and brainwashing her crush, a school with bizarre rules and a monster janitor, unidentified parents straight out of urban legends, and now a human-sized monster cockroach.
No normal world has shit like this. It shouldn't.
Suddenly, I missed Kim Su-hee so bad.
Not romantic—just craved someone normal like me, sharing the same 'common sense.'
Gotta get to school soon, but when's this girl letting me leave?
"Sigh. Why'd you leave the ceiling open?"
"Uh, no, I kept hearing weird scratching up there, so I checked."
"Jeez, terrified of bugs but bold enough to poke around? Siwwy♡ woser♡"
Being babied pissed me off, but I couldn't argue. The roach had already bolted.
"I'll seal it back up, so use my bathroom. Look at you, all dusty."
"Y-yeah... thanks..."
Mwah♡
Kang Jia grinned mischievously, kissed my lips, and picked up the fallen duct cover from the floor.
I bolted to her room—I didn't wanna stay in a space with those two monsters a second longer.
'Huh...?'
Wait, this might be my chance sooner than I thought.
The diary's gotta be somewhere in that room.
