The Unknown Little Sister
Chu♡ Mwah♡ Smack♡
Something warm and slippery pressed against my lips.
"Nngh... what the...?"
Lick..♡
"Slurp..♡ Mmmwah.... Oppa, why do you always wake up so late? Ugh.. my lips are gonna chap."
Black mid-length hair falling to her collarbone.
A one-sided ponytail tied with a red ribbon.
Red eyes,
a dainty nose.
Tiny pinkish lips.
Doll-like, delicate features.
She looked nothing like me—strangely, not even a hint of resemblance to her supposed brother.
"Sorry. But why are you in my room?"
"Huh? It's common sense for a little sister to wake her big brother up."
"Why the lips, though..."
"What? Why do you keep asking that? Is something wrong with your head? Obviously, the morning call for Oppa is a kiss♡—that's how it's always been."
What the hell is this bullshit...
More than that—little sister?
Did I even have a little sister?
My hazy thoughts scattered into chaos, only to snap short at the sound of her voice again. It was like something was deliberately blocking me from thinking deeper.
"Jeez. Babbling nonsense first thing in the morning. Get out of bed already—we're going to school together. We're gonna be late!"
Come to think of it, she was already in her uniform. Quick as hell.
But was that really a school uniform? It looked more like a suit.
Eh, whatever. She's handling her own outfit.
"Uh? Oh.. uh, yeah, got it."
Getting up was a hassle, though.
A healthy guy stands right up after waking, morning wood and all.
"Hey, get out for a sec. I need to change."
"Why? I wanna stay here."
She scanned me up and down with a weird look.
Her gaze lingered on a certain spot.
"Hng..?"
Snicker.
"Healthy, huh~ Want me to take care of it?"
"Fuck off with that crap and get out, you bitch!" Heat rushed to my head, chasing away any drowsiness.
Take care of it? As if. She was just stripping bare-ass naked to sexually harass her own brother.
"Tch.."
I chucked a pillow at her, and she stuck out her tongue before finally leaving the room.
The door clicked shut, and the room fell into an eerie silence.
Whoosh!
Unlike the cozy room, a torrent of rain poured outside in the pitch-black night with terrifying force. This year's monsoon was dragging on forever—already a week straight. Even with the window sealed tight, the rain hammered loud.
Sticky air and suffocating quiet clung to my skin unpleasantly.
Tick-tock. The clock read 12:29 AM, ticking toward 30.
"Going to school this late?"
School? I graduated ages ago. Why the hell would I go to school?
I'm not in high school... right?
Tick.
Tick.
Something was off.
Every second hand tick sent a stab of pain through my head.
The moment she left, the room's vibe chilled by the second.
Drip. Drip.
Rain tapping the window sounded like the legs of some multi-legged arthropod skittering disgustingly into my ears.
The fuzzy colors in my vision drained away.
My nape prickled.
Then her voice echoed from downstairs.
"Argh! Hey!! What're you doing? We're gonna be late!"
That bitch?
Calling her sky-like brother "hey"?
Her casual tone snapped me awake like from a dream. I'd chew her out later.
Anyway, we'd be late at this rate. School by 1 AM.
I threw on some clothes in a rush and headed out.
"I'm off."
Dad and Mom were at the table eating something. They told me to drive safe as I left, then went right back to their meal.
Smack-
What were they chowing down so intently?
Whatever—gotta go.
Bang!
Sis was already outside waiting.
"Hurry up!"
The rain had stopped sometime; the fresh, rain-scented dawn air felt crisp, and the damp walk to school was familiar.
"Oppa."
The cool air lifted my mood, but my head felt foggy for some reason.
Like I wasn't myself—a sense of depersonalization.
"Hey!"
She snuck up and poked my shoulder, startling me a bit, but I played it cool. Big bro pride and all.
"You keep 'hey'-ing your brother? I'll smack you!"
"Pfft— as if, you loser. Anyway, what're you thinking about? You look spaced out."
"Uh..? Oh, nothing. Just... isn't it super late?"
"What? Hmm...."
As I trailed off, trying to grasp this inexplicable unease, she grabbed my hand.
Squeeze.
"Let's hold hands like old times on the way!"
Gross.
"Eugh. Let go."
"Why! Hold my hand. It's scary here... it's dark... please..?"
Polite only when it suits her.
Sigh. How'd I end up with a wild filly like her as a sister?
"Fine."
"Heehee."
Walking hand-in-hand felt refreshing and fun.
My vision warmed like cranking up saturation and temperature in a photo app.
We arrived at school.
"Oppa, first period's PE, right? I'll go change! No peeking♡?"
"As if I'd peek at a stick-figure like you changing."
"Wanna die!?"
Smack!
"Ack! Brat!"
"Nyah~"
She slapped my back, stuck out her tongue, and vanished somewhere.
"Haa...."
PE first period, huh.
Gotta head to the gym.
Thud....
Thud....
The unlit school at 1 AM felt like another dimension.
Thick darkness draped the halls like invisible veils of pale palms.
My faint footsteps echoed back off them.
The small acrylic windows on classroom doors were empty, but passing them, I felt eyes boring into my back—like someone holding their breath, watching.
"Chilly.."
This familiar school should've been normal, yet goosebumps kept rising on my arms.
Creeeak-
At the gym. Pushing the heavy iron door cracked it open, letting cold air slip through.
Summer, but post-rain dawn was chilly.
Creeeaaaak-
Opening it fully, the gloom intensified.
Looking up, skylights in the ceiling. Faint moonlight filtered through clouds now and then.
But even that washed-out glow cast long shadows from the steel beams, spreading creepy shade without properly lighting anything.
Squeak.
Squeak.
"They should oil the floor deck... tsk."
Wood groaned underfoot, stabbing my ears.
Scratches on the floor—probably from basketball carts, but they looked like frantic escape trails.
Why so ominous?
Without sis, anxiety crept in.
"Oppa! I'm heeere~"
Turning, I saw her slinking through the open door.
"What're you wearing?"
"PE time, so PE clothes."
Dolphin shorts and tank top? Too slutty for school gym wear.
"What's wrong? Oppa seems weird today... overslept?"
The more I questioned this altered common sense, the chillier her voice grew.
"Y-yeah. Nah, just groggy from waking up."
"Why aren't you ready? It's health and PE practice day."
Health and PE? No such class in the curriculum.
"Sex ed?"
"Eh.. sure, call it that."
But what does that have to do with my clothes...
"Anyway, strip!"
"What?"
"Strip. Self-study sex ed!"
"Crazy? Why do I gotta strip for that?"
She refused again, and her eyes sank unnaturally.
Her already pale skin drained of blood, turning ghostly white.
Then her icy voice dropped.
"
Strip.
"
Zzt-
Like an ice-cold rod piercing my brain.
Whoosh.
Before I could think, my body moved. Grabbing pants and underwear, yanking them down—lower body exposed to cold air. Shame, confusion, self-doubt, helplessness. My head spun.
Yet I couldn't resist that eerie, commanding voice.
"Oppa..."
She approached my dazed, standing form. Her small white hand drew near my lower half.
