50,000-View Celebration Q&A
This is the author speaking!
Before I knew it, The Administrator of a Doomed World hit 50,000 views!! (clap clap~)
When I first started writing, I never even imagined numbers like these. Seeing them right in front of my eyes now… my feelings are complicated in all sorts of ways.
But! We've got things to do!
This chapter, we're running a 50K celebration Q&A!
And today's special guest for said Q&A is~
I brought our protagonist along!
Why isn't Dokja here, you ask?
Honestly, there were a few too many questions that felt a little awkward to read with the person in question sitting right there…
Anyway! Let's get this Q&A started!
A. "Personally, I like long hair and older women."
To be completely honest, a fair amount of the author's own taste is reflected in that one;;
Anyway, it's good stuff, so next!
A. As of right now, the confirmed heroines are Dokja, Yoo Sangah, and Han Sooyoung.
Dokja and Yoo Sangah have been making their case so consistently that you probably don't have questions there — but Han Sooyoung might raise a few eyebrows.
I mean, she's pretty. And that tsundere flavor is delicious.
"You serious?"
Quiet. Anyway, next!
A. This one's still in the thinking-about-it stage.
Dante is locked in, and beyond that the most likely candidates are probably the Sinners.
I know some of you are hoping for Apple or Vergilius, but those two are not planned to appear.
"Be honest. You just can't be bothered to write material for them."
Shiiing—
Mouth.
"Sowwy."
Okay, next!
A. "Fauwoong."
There you have it. Next!
A. Honestly, this one splits into two answers.
At the current point in the story, the most powerful is probably the Lei Heng Identity.
And the strongest Identity in the late game is…
Somebody save me.
KRA-BOOM—!
Honestly, I figure most of you could have predicted this one to some degree.
An Arbiter stands at the absolute peak of the City as a member of the Head, and the Red Mist is so far beyond the heavens that she's in a league of her own…
'Then what about the Twilight and Paradise forms?'
Paradise, Twilight = Red Mist, Arbiter?
Do you actually think that equation holds?
Anyway, that's about it. Next!
A. Yes, it's coming!
I mean, once you've already suppressed two of the birds, not using Apocalypse Bird would be the weirder choice, wouldn't it?
And I've already handed out Apocalypse Bird E.G.O through E.G.O gear anyway, so yes — it's planned to appear!
A. I just mentioned that the E.G.O gear is coming, so this time let's talk about the Library version of the E.G.O!
Honestly, I'm planning to use the Library's E.G.O as a kind of finisher — an ultimate move.
But a finisher called Apocalypse? Yeah, I can't not go for that.
"So you're saying you're going to manufacture a situation where you get to use it?"
I'm not the one who has to suffer through it, am I?
"You little sh—!"
Next!
A. I haven't set a hard cap on the number of heroines yet.
And honestly, putting a limit on a harem is kind of weird, isn't it?
As for the kids…
Going by just the currently confirmed heroines: Dokja gets one. Yoo Sangah gets twins. Han Sooyoung gets one.
"Hold on a second."
?
"Kids? Me? I thought I was only dating Dokja?"
KAL!!!!!!!
"Whoa—! You scared me."
Who said you get to pick just one out of a harem!! I will absolutely never allow that, you hear me!!!!
"What the hell;;"
Next!
A. Really, really good.
So good I genuinely can't put it into words.
I kept bouncing in and out of the novel page to check the view count, and I kept opening the notification panel wondering if any new comments had come in.
That so many people would pour this much attention and this much affection into a beginner author's work… I'm just grateful beyond measure.
Every time I checked the comments and saw readers still showing up, I couldn't help smiling. When Chapter 1 crossed 2,000 views, I was so happy I didn't know what to do with myself.
Truly — thank you so, so much.
I'll work as hard as I can to make sure, at the very least, this never goes on permanent hiatus.
Here's to 100K, 200K, and beyond. Please keep sticking with me.
A. The Immoral Meursault is coming.
A. I'm genuinely happy — but sometimes I'm anxious, too.
'Can I actually keep this quality up going forward?'
'What if work forces me into a hiatus?'
But whenever I upload a chapter and see the readers' reactions, even that anxiety seems to melt away.
The climbing view counts, the comments landing on each chapter — they give me the strength to write again, and they become the reason I want to see how you'll react next.
The fact that I — that this novel — made it this far is entirely thanks to all of you.
Truly. Thank you so very much.
A. Lying in bed, writing on my phone.
Or so I say — the truth is, real-life Author is busy on multiple fronts.
Between preparing for certifications and taking on commissioned work, free time keeps shrinking.
For reference, the author is currently a high school senior.
I don't plan to stop serializing during CSAT season, but when certification prep and things like that pile up, I may need to take short breaks.
And when I do go on break, I'll put up a notice in advance — so please keep an eye on the announcements.
A. Got cleaned out by Ryusang, so I've only got 18,000 left.
A. In Lobotomy it's Gebura, in Ruina it's Roland, and in Limbus it's Yi Sang and Fauwoong.
A. (glance)
Gray, I see.
"Skip it."
What.
"I said skip it."
Yeah, but it's still a question.
"Absolutely not…"
Clang—!
Thud—
Hah… To be completely honest, I have no plans to write a 19+ chapter yet.
Partly because the author is still a minor, and partly because I've never actually read any erotica, so I wouldn't even know how to stage that kind of scene.
That said… once the author is an adult, I might try writing one someday?
A. Excuse me?
…?
Who wrote this.
A. Thank you.
This is the third time I've said it during this Q&A, but I don't really have any other way to put it.
There were readers who came running because it was a new work, and readers who binge-read from the very beginning.
And every single one of those readers meant more to me than I can say.
I never imagined a writing life I started on impulse would grow this big.
Every time I thought about the fact that there are readers out there waiting for my work, enjoying my work — I wanted to write more.
And from back when I first started this novel, the memory of that ten-chapter upload streak still circles around in my head.
The readers reacting with "How many are you dropping?" and "Are you just writing this into the void by yourself?" — those reactions are still vivid.
Looking back now, I think I kept writing somehow because I wanted to see more of those reactions.
Anyway. All I can really say is thank you.
Thank you for coming with me all the way to 50K — and I'll keep working so we can go on together for a long, long time.
I think that's about where we should wrap the Q&A.
A novel I started writing on January 31st is somehow sitting at 50,000 views, and looking at that is genuinely moving.
There were anxious moments and happy moments in abundance — and the reason I could keep writing through all of it with joy is, I believe, entirely thanks to all of you.
All right then. Time for Q&A round two.
Huh? What do you mean, round two?
This time, the author is the one asking the questions!
Honestly, there were a lot of things I've been curious about from you readers.
So without further delay — let's go!
1. Why are you reading this story?
I'm not being sarcastic — I genuinely want to know! This novel has plenty of rough edges, and it's not like the author is some master of description either. So I'd love to know what part of it makes you keep turning the pages!
2. Which part did you like the most?
I have a feeling this question will influence future episodes, too.
If the readers want to see something — of course I'll write it!
3. Team Cat? Or Team Dog?
This one's just a personal question;;
The author keeps a cat, you see.
Anyway — now the Q&A is actually over!
And before I go, one announcement!
Novelpia is running a Step-Up Challenge, so the author decided to jump in too.
I'd already been prepping something, and when a good opportunity came along I figured I'd give it a proper write.
That does not mean this novel is going on hiatus.
I'll do my best to serialize both — so look forward to it.
The author's original novel, Swordmaster of Starlight, could also use plenty of love!
All right — the author will be heading out now.
Please keep taking care of me going forward, and let's push on together to 100K and 200K!
