Rust Assaults Lady Milione!? #4
“I’m bored. Hyde, tell me something interesting. You write, don’t you? Crack a joke at least. I’m dying of boredom here.”
Milione Archibold sprawled in her chair as if melting into it, swinging her legs in lazy little arcs. For a fleeting moment I wondered whether that careless pose was meant to seduce me.
Of course it wouldn’t work. I was a man immune to temptation. Even when the silk blouse revealed the curve of her skin, even when the panty line showed across her hips, even when those unexpectedly long white legs swayed back and forth, I never once let my eyes linger.
I was Hyde, the monk of ironclad faith.
“I said I’m bored!”
“Would you care to read a book I wrote?”
I held out the volume Psyche had left behind—Backstreet Nymph’s Village. Milione’s face twisted in pure irritation.
“Boring. If it’s going to be this dull I’d rather meet Rust. Yeah. Meeting him wouldn’t be boring.”
“You speak as though you’ve been waiting for him on purpose.”
“Of course. The man who writes stories this entertaining? His ideas are genius. I want to meet him in person.”
She rose and drifted to the window. I spoke to her back.
“So you set the fire? Took advantage of the thin security to lure Rust into this room?”
The blaze that had broken out at such a perfect moment had to be Lady Milione’s handiwork.
She turned, the burning night sky behind her. Darkness veiled her face, yet her eyes blazed. The emotion needed no name: pure rage.
“What the hell are you talking about? Me, setting a fire? You dare spout that garbage at the youngest daughter of House Archibold? Think you can handle the consequences?”
Only then did I understand completely. Milione was a flower—not a fragile lily or rose, but a flame that burned everything and finally swallowed itself. I couldn’t find a better description just then, and questions multiplied.
How had the devout Archbishop Archibold’s daughter become this twisted?
Then again, it wasn’t surprising. There was a term for it: PK—Preacher’s Kids. Children of pastors and priests. People expected them to grow up proper and meek, yet the opposite happened often enough. From childhood they were crushed under “You’re a pastor’s son, so you can’t do this, you must do that.” The pressure warped them. I’d seen plenty at seminary—PKs reeking of booze and cigarettes even though getting caught meant expulsion. And those same PKs became stumbling blocks for the faithful.
—That guy’s a pastor’s kid and he lives like that? Causes that much trouble? There’s no God. A pastor who can’t even raise his own son properly, leading a church?
Yeah. I’d seen the type a hundred times.
“This fire was set by Rust! That’s right! He even says so in the Gwichukdo—he’s the flame that will burn the world! Hahaha!”
Milione finally laughed so hard her fangs showed. Completely unhinged. My own heart, by contrast, grew calm. I vowed I would no longer be jerked around by this deranged PK.
“Rust is a coward who can’t even show his face behind that mask. Do you really believe he could slip past heavy security and start a fire?”
“Watch your mouth—”
“And then appear through all those guards to rape and defile Lady Milione? Impossible. Because he is nothing but a spineless piece of trash—”
“Shut up! Rust is nothing like a coward who hides in a shit-hole like you!”
She seized me by the collar. Her grip was terrifyingly strong. For a second my breath cut off completely before she set me back on the floor.
“Haha. Fine. I set the fire. So what? What can you do about it? I was just too bored, that’s all.”
You set a fire because you were bored? What a vicious bitch.
While I thought that, she shouted again.
“‘Lady Archibold set a fire’—who’s going to believe that? If I scream right now people will come running. And if I tell them you tried to rape me?”
When the hell did I try to rape you?
Of course I’d been trying! I wanted to! More precisely, I hadn’t planned an actual rape—I just wanted the achievement of “having raped her.” Fuck, even I don’t know what I’m saying anymore.
“Hyde, handing you over as a rapist would be fun, but that would be a waste. You have a role that suits you better.”
Steel whispered. She drew a dagger from the desk. The blue-edged blade gleamed murderously.
“What do you intend to do?”
“Hyde, I’m going to offer you as a sacrifice and summon the living devil, Rust.”
What kind of insane bullshit is that? Sacrifice me to summon me?
“What nonsense is this? How do you summon a person by sacrificing a person?”
“If it’s Rust, he can do it! Look at the Gwichukdo—every evil deed and technique he ever performed is written here! Hyde, I’ll sacrifice you and call Rust right here!”
She lunged with impossible speed. I grabbed for anything and swung, but my foot caught and I landed hard on my ass.
“Die!”
The dagger flashed. Instinctively I threw up my hand. The book—Backstreet Nymph’s Village—caught the blade. I almost pissed myself. Maybe I did a little. If Psyche hadn’t left that book, my skull would have a hole instead of a round bald spot.
“I said die!”
The real problem was that Milione had completely lost her mind. What the hell was I supposed to do?
Then an idea flashed.
“Ugh… ghk… guh… guhhh!”
I convulsed like a man having a seizure. The moment she hesitated, I rose to my feet.
“Stop, Milione Archibold. I am Rust.”
Milione Archibold was briefly thrown by the sudden change.
“You’re Rust?”
The scrawny, boring monk who only spouted moral lectures—Hyde—had suddenly stood up and declared himself “Rust.”
“Yes. I am Rust.”
Even the voice had become someone else’s. It truly was Rust’s voice. Still, she couldn’t accept it yet.
“Prove it!”
“Proof?”
“The first sentence of Gwichukdo Chapter Two, ‘What Is Sex’! The very first declaration the narrator makes to the world—say it!”
“Sex is the meeting of cock and pussy.”
“……!”
Lightning seemed to strike the back of her skull; a full-body shudder of pure filth ran through her. That he could spit such vulgar words so casually… this man really was Rust.
At the same time the shock hit her.
“Hyde… you were Rust?”
“No. I merely borrowed this body for a moment. Possession, they call it.”
“Possession…? Rust, you could do that too? What an incredible man. Truly incredible…!”
“Milione, your fierce desire to meet me forced me into the body of this pure and devout man. It wasn’t easy. His willpower is stronger than anyone’s.”
“Who cares about that guy! Rust, save me from this hellishly boring world. You came here to rape me, didn’t you?”
“…….”
“Come on, rape me already!”
She flung her arms wide. The dagger clattered to the floor.
“I want to be your slave! Rape me! It’s annoying that it’s this weakling Hyde’s body instead of your real face, but hurry!”
A woman of dizzying allure stood with arms open, utterly defenseless. Any saint would have been captivated. And the man before Lady Milione was none other than the Beast himself—Rust.
Yet while she burned with excitement, Rust only shook his head.
“Milione, you cannot be raped by me.”
“What? Why? What the hell does that mean?”
“Rape is a forced act. That is why it is called rape. But you want me to rape you. Therefore this is not rape—it is consensual sex.”
“…Consen…!”
Milione Archibold had read countless books. She grasped better than anyone that the logic spoken through Hyde’s body was flawless.
“Consensual sex is love. It is the conduct taught by the Church and the Scriptures. What I desire is true sin—true rape. Therefore, Milione Archibold, you who wish for consensual sex are not qualified to be raped by me.”
“Not… qualified to be raped…?”
The world spun. The floor seemed to drop into the endless hell of Avīci.
Crazy bitch.
Milione Archibold was a crazy bitch. That was why my insane logic—that you can’t rape someone who wants to be raped because then it’s consensual—actually worked.
Fuck.
I cursed inwardly and glanced out the window. The fire that had been devouring the night was already out. The Agarpe estate had excellent waterworks and fire preparedness.
If I had actually raped Lady Milione right then, Psyche—who had just put out the flames—would have burst into the room mid-act.
—Hyde, what in the world are you doing…!!!
Would anyone believe the story that Rust had “possessed” Hyde’s body and attacked Lady Milione? No. I would become the man who forcibly assaulted the Archibold daughter, get handed over to the torture specialists, and eventually the truth—“Hyde was Rust!”—would come out. Then straight into a boiling cauldron. According to Pope Gregory, the sin of lust must be punished with fire and brimstone.
I absolutely could not let that happen.
Riiip—
At that exact moment Lady Milione tore her own clothes apart with her bare hands.
“Rust… I finally meet you like this and you say I can’t be raped? I… I won’t accept that…!”
Her full F-cup breasts—still teardrop-shaped despite their size—spilled free, stabbing my eyes. Pink nipples. A tiny mole beneath the left breast. A narrow waist and short golden pubic hair on her lower body. All my blood rushed downward at once.
“Come on, take me!”
A low, thrumming pressure rolled off the naked Lady Milione. She looked ready to devour me whole.
“Very well. I shall grant you rape.”
“…What?”
“But first, one question. Milione. What do you think of this devout, wise, intelligent, and more humble than anyone else monk Hyde whose body I have temporarily borrowed?”
“I completely hate him. That fake-good, know-it-all attitude is disgusting. I’ve never met anyone more nauseating than my brother Alter. I really hate him…!”
So that was how she saw me. A little shocking, actually. Which made it perfect.
“Milione Archibold. What I will rape is not your filthy, worthless flesh. I will rape your soul and your time!”
“What!?”
“From this day forward you will obey every word this man speaks without question! You will treat his words as my words and make him happy!”
“What—!? Absolutely not! I’d rather kill myself! Obey that guy? I really hate it! Ugh—I’m gonna puke! Just being in the same room makes me sick!”
“Kwahaha! Precisely because you hate it so much, the rape is established…! From today your soul will be forced to do things it loathes and will rot away! And on the day you are completely steeped in the end of sin, I shall truly descend and defile you!”
“Th-that’s… raping soul and time… I’ve never even heard of such a thing. This is truly… as expected of the only man I acknowledge—Rust…”
What a complete fucking idiot.
Then, far down the corridor, the clatter of armor reached my ears. Psyche was running this way.
“Time’s up. This man’s willpower is so strong that even a sinner of my caliber cannot maintain possession long! Await the day of my true descent!”
I convulsed again like a mackerel frying in electricity. I even foamed at the mouth like an enraged crab. After about five seconds of thrashing I opened my eyes with the expression of someone whose mind had just cleared.
“Ah—what on earth happened? Lady Milione, what happened to your clothes? What is going on? What happened here? I… I don’t remember anything!”
I asked as if I truly knew nothing. Milione scowled, yanked a blanket from the bed, and clutched it in front of her body.
Bang—!
The door flew open. Psyche rushed in.
“Is everyone all right…!?”
