A whole week had flown by in the blink of an eye, but the changes during that time were indescribable. The most obvious one was the server population. What started as a tiny server with just 21 people had ballooned past 80, and it looked like it'd hit 100 players soon enough. Naturally, every new arrival came looking for me, so I'd bolt to some out-of-the-way spot and enjoy my comfy farmer life. And now, I could greet most people without feeling too awkward. Still burdensome, though.

"Hmm. Pineapple or corn... Pineapple or corn... Tough call."

Yeah, the past week had been all about adapting to the server. Tinkering here and there, wandering around, and time just vanished. Starting Day 2, I started saving gold properly, and by Day 5, I could finally buy land. Obviously not enough for just me, though.

"Should I ask Akira-senpai? Pineapple or corn?"

From Day 2, Akira had been grinding her ass off to repay the gold I'd given her. Plus, the four people she called joined the playground server faster and... donated gold to me. Honestly, tough to accept that amount. A whopping 100 gold. That's like a million won in sponsorship from my seniors—how am I supposed to spend this without guilt? But in the end, I used it on real estate. With the condition we live together.

Luckily, it was just Akira moving in. If all four others had... ugh. Can't even imagine.

After that, I dug up and shaped the land hard, turning it into prime farmland. Built a ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠house too, and the interior turned out pretty nice.

Anyway, back to it: Converted all my remaining wealth to corn seeds. No regrets on the spend. Corn can't flop, so safe play.

When I opened the farming shop, chat was a mix of joy and despair.

Bit of suspense, but with corn up, pineapple bettors looked down.
