Si-yoon's ability, the Corruption System, functions like a program. The system describes the evolution of the ability as "V2" or an "update," signifying the second version.

Seraphina rubs her knee where it hit the floor and looks around the room, spotting a bowl of soup and a wet towel on the bedside table.
"Did someone save us after we collapsed from fighting villains and take care of us? We were out cold… we probably couldn't even take medicine."
Not long ago, the two magical girls had received ability-enhancement procedures at a secret research facility inside the Alliance. The director had warned them that while their power output had greatly increased, their bodies would melt and they would die if they did not take the medicine once every 24 hours.
Yet if they had been unconscious for this long, they should have melted away from missing the dose.
"Far from melting… all our injuries are healed."
Despite not taking the medicine, neither Aquamarine nor Seraphina's bodies have melted. Instead, thanks to drinking Do-hwa's breast milk, their wounds have healed to some extent.
"I don't know what happened… but if it's a relief, then it's a relief."
Seraphina gently touches Aquamarine's cheek as she sleeps soundly and lets out a sigh of relief that they are both alive and well.
