Hypothesis Confirmed, Savior Revealed
‘If this is the case, it means my guess was pretty much spot on...’
Before heading into the dungeon with Kim Seol-bi and Kim Eun-bi, I’d formed one key hypothesis.
Explosive experience gains happened through deep physical intimacy with women exposed to my Unreasonable Favor skill. And skill copying occurred inside dungeons.
My abilities had so many inexplicable aspects that I’d pieced this together from empirical observations. And the second dungeon raid had proven it true.
‘Killing monsters doesn’t seem to give a ton of experience.’
I’d joined the hunt alongside Kim Seol-bi and Kim Eun-bi. I had the quick movements and Hand Blade Cut I’d gained from the previous raid, after all.
The monster rabbits and monster deer here were far more fearsome than the zombie-types from last time, but they weren’t a real threat. Especially with Kim Seol-bi and Kim Eun-bi watching over me.
Kim Seol-bi moved like lightning, rushing in the moment I seemed to struggle even a little, swiftly ending the monsters.
By the end of clearing the entire first floor, I’d taken down three or four monster rabbits and one monster deer myself. But there was no sense of a massive experience surge afterward.
If I had to guess, I’d probably earned about as much as any average D-rank hunter would from a normal dungeon run.
My experience explosions and skill copies were phenomena tied to Unreasonable Favor. It made sense that I gained experience through targets affected by the skill—and copied their skills in the process.
Hunting wasn’t the key.
‘Though I have no idea why deep intimacy is the trigger for experience gains.’
I hadn’t successfully had penetrative sex even once yet, but I couldn’t help wondering what would happen if I did. One thing was certain: it’d yield far more experience than anything so far.
‘And that’s not all.’
Both Kim Seol-bi and Kim Eun-bi were top-tier beauties. Hunters, no less. Sleeping with them was every man’s dream, without a doubt.
‘Don’t get ahead of yourself.’
I reined in my thoughts. Things had gotten messy since Kim Eun-bi showed up. Without her, I might’ve been enjoying near-sex fun with Kim Seol-bi right now.
Would the day ever come when they stopped glaring daggers and competing over me? At least by the standards of basic worldly morals, it seemed unlikely.
Two cousins both loving the same man. And having sex with him... Just thinking about it made my head spin.
“I’ll be right back.”
I said it while we were taking a short break after clearing the first floor.
“Where to? It’s dangerous, Sung-gi. We’ve hunted most of them, but some might be left. Especially the monster rabbits—they’re sly and probably hid after sensing our combat power.”
Kim Seol-bi immediately looked worried.
“Should I come with you?”
Kim Eun-bi jumped in quick.
“No. Honestly... I need to pee.”
“Oh...”
“Yeah...”
At the word “pee,” both women’s faces flushed red.
I’d wanted to handle something as simple as relieving myself in private, but their overprotectiveness made that impossible. Once I laid out the truth, though, neither could insist on tagging along.
“Still, don’t go too far.”
Kim Seol-bi worried to the end.
Truth be told, I wasn’t too concerned. Monster deer were huge—you could hear them coming from afar. If attacked, it’d be a monster rabbit at worst, and I could handle those solo no problem. Their agility was their strength, but mine was even faster.
Still, I nodded obediently to Kim Seol-bi.
“Yeah, I’ll be careful.”
I slipped into the underbrush to pee. This dungeon took the form of a forest.
I headed for a thick tree trunk that seemed suitable.
“Haaah...”
Becoming D-rank was great, copying Kim Eun-bi’s skill was great, but a sigh escaped anyway. I just wanted this awkward situation resolved and some peace back.
Trickle, trickle.
I’d held it a while, so the stream showed no sign of stopping soon. Peeing with my dick out in a dungeon felt risky. Monsters could slice off a hunter’s sensitive parts in an instant. Imagining one ripping mine off and chomping away sent a chill down my spine.
I hurried to finish.
Whoosh—
That’s when it happened. A massive shadow loomed directly in front of me.
‘For real...?’
Was it a monster rabbit, like Kim Seol-bi warned? I braced to run if needed. My pants might get splashed with the ongoing stream, but my dick mattered more.
But...
“Huh?”
I panicked at the slowly growing shadow. A monster rabbit wouldn’t approach this leisurely—it’d have leaped at me already. Nor was it a monster deer; those snorted furiously and charged with thunderous hooves from afar.
‘Then...’
I knew this dungeon had three monster types total. Monster rabbits. Monster deer. And one more...
I looked up.
A monster of enormous bulk, top to bottom and side to side. It emerged from the shadow, revealing its full body.
“Damn...”
A monster bear!
‘Isn’t that a boss-grade monster?’
I’d thought monster bears were the boss-grade here. But even bosses weren’t guaranteed only on the lowest floor. They might be rare, but no rule said there was just one.
‘No way!’
I couldn’t take a monster bear right now. In a party, maybe—but solo? Impossible.
“Grrr...”
The monster bear gazed down at me steadily. Judging me alone and not that strong, its eyes gleamed. It raised two massive front paws.
“GRRRR!”
I’d raided with S-rank Kim Seol-bi so much that I’d forgotten. How dangerous and terrifying monsters truly were.
Especially when I couldn’t hunt them—how they chilled you to the core.
Drip, drip.
My body froze, the last drops leaking out. I stared up blankly, too stunned to even fix my pants.
They say when the ability gap between hunter and monster is too wide, ‘stiffness’ sets in—a negative mana interaction. Inexperienced hunters fell victim more often.
Like me right now.
‘Damn it!’
Was my life about to end so pointlessly here? If I’d known, I’d have steeled myself for death and had sex with Kim Seol-bi or Kim Eun-bi!
Ironically, that’s what flashed through my mind at the end.
In my dreams, being loved by those two women had been pure bliss. To die without making it real...!!
If I survived this, I vowed to throw myself into it actively. Their tense standoff? Only I could resolve it. And boldly speaking, they couldn’t leave me anyway. Not with my Unreasonable Favor skill!
“Damn it!!”
But what good was that now? I was about to die to this monster bear!
I squeezed my eyes shut.
The massive paw that seemed poised to crush me never fell.
Instead—
“KWEK!!”
A monster’s guttural scream rang out. Flames roared—whoosh!—and the air ahead scorched hot.
I cautiously opened my eyes.
The hulking monster bear that had loomed over me moments ago now had its chest ablaze. The fire spread through its soft fur.
Whoosh!
“KAAAACK!!”
Flutter, flutter~ A few familiar-shaped papers floated in the air. Each turned into a tiny blade.
The blades swarmed, slicing into the bear’s body.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
“KWEeeeeK~~~!!!”
The massive monster bear’s body shredded wherever the blades flashed.
‘What the hell...’
I watched the unbelievable scene, speechless.
It wasn’t Kim Seol-bi or Kim Eun-bi—I knew their abilities.
This was definitely...
‘Talismans!’
Only one person I knew used talismans like that. A figure treated like urban legend but real, who’d even appeared before me. The cute-faced woman with porcelain-white skin who’d held my hand in my dream.
‘Kang A-jin...’
Thud!!!
Dust billowed as the monster bear collapsed.
I scanned around. Kang A-jin had to be here. She’d entered the dungeon with me, Kim Seol-bi, and Kim Eun-bi—without showing herself.
‘Why the hell...’
Relief at surviving mixed with bewilderment at the unexpected savior. Then voices called from behind.
“Sung-gi!”
“Oppa Sung-gi!”
Kim Seol-bi and Kim Eun-bi.
