Chapter 93
Chapter 93
“Bom.”
“Mmm, Jae-gyu… what are you doing?”
Jae-gyu’s hand, having skillfully slipped under the layers of the duvet, slowly stroked Bom’s stomach.
“...You’re all flat after we spent the whole night at it on an empty stomach.”
“Ugh, where are you touching…?”
“How is your skin this soft? There isn’t a single spot that isn’t silky.”
His devious hand slid further down, brushing aside the blanket to begin fondling Bom’s pussy. Jae-gyu’s breath, exhaled close to her ear, grew increasingly heavy with heat.
“You’re already wet…”
Two thick fingers began to rub firmly against Bom’s slit. Bom, who had been struggling to wake from her daze, snapped her eyes open.
“Ah! Stop!”
His fingers withdrew without hesitation. Jae-gyu let out a joyful laugh and stood up from the edge of the bed. The frown on Bom’s forehead smoothed out instantly.
“Oh, right…! What time is it now?!”
Covering her chest with the duvet, Bom sat up. When Jae-gyu told her it was seven o’clock, she hurried to get out of bed, only for her foot to get caught in the edge of the blanket.
“Whoa—!”
“Gotcha.”
With his long arms, Jae-gyu scooped up the falling Bom. He lifted her naked body into his arms and headed straight for the bathroom.
“It’s embarrassing, so go out. I’ll wash up on my own.”
“I’ve been looking at you all night; why start being shy now? You’re absolutely beautiful.”
Bom tried to cover herself with her arms but eventually gave up, letting Jae-gyu prepare the bathwater.
Jae-gyu checked the water he had drawn earlier and, seeing it had cooled, turned on the hot tap to adjust the temperature. As he tested the water with his hand, he let out occasional shouts of “Gah!” or “Hot!” He was loud no matter what he did.
“Bom-Bom, have you ever used this?”
“I haven’t. Not even once.”
“I brought it along and only tried the sample, but it lathers like crazy.”
What Jae-gyu had brought from somewhere was a powder-type bath soak in a glass bottle with a herringbone pattern. As he scattered it into the tub, white bubbles began to billow up like clouds.
“Bom, you must be tired after running all over the place yesterday.”
Yesterday morning, Bom had come down to Busan with Jae-gyu.
They had rented paddleboards at Gwangalli and even took a glass-bottomed cable car to cross over the sea. It was exciting while they were playing, but once they returned to the hotel, she felt as limp as wilted kimchi. And on top of that…
[Stop being so sexy.]
Seeing her sprawled out on the bed, Jae-gyu had suddenly become aroused and pounced on her. She lost track of how many times they had joined together.
“...It was a little tiring.”
And whose fault is that? Dragging her trembling legs, Bom finally sat down in the bubble-filled tub. The temperature of the water was just right. The thick foam floating on top looked quite fancy.
Jae-gyu sat on the edge of the tub and watched Bom play with the bubbles. She thought he was just going to watch quietly, but he suddenly thrust his hand into the water. He scooped up a handful of dense foam and placed it on top of Bom’s head.
“What is this!”
“A cloud hat. It’s a gift.”
“Ha, seriously.”
It was so childish she thought she might die. Bom scooped up some bubbles herself and chased Jae-gyu out of the bathroom before he could do anything else weird. Once the bathroom door closed, the space finally became quiet. Bom gently poked the foam hat on her head with her finger. Soon, a small laugh echoed through the bathroom.
“Phew, I better wash up quickly.”
Bom leaned back against the tub and closed her eyes. After soaking for about ten minutes, she would have to hurry and get ready.
The two of them had an important schedule starting this morning.
‘He said it was his first time getting a health checkup.’
She had promised to get a checkup with Jae-gyu a while ago, but she hadn't expected Jae-gyu—who usually avoided hospitals—to be the one to book the date first.
[But you should be the only one getting this, Bom. I’m physically fit, so I’ll just be your dedicated guardian.]
Though he had said that at first, Jae-gyu eventually changed his mind and decided to get the checkup with her. Han-gyeol deserved a lot of credit for that. Jae-gyu had changed his mind after Han-gyeol told him that if he got sick because of his overconfidence, it would only cause the teacher physical and emotional pain.
[I told them to give us the best one, the Jae-gyu-Style Full Set.]
The place they chose for the checkup was a large general hospital in Centum City. Jae-gyu, determined to do it right since they were doing it at all, had mobilized all his connections to pick the spot. He claimed he had handpicked a hospital with top-tier medical facilities and a staff of proven, experienced professionals.
They could have gone to any health checkup center. Honestly, he was making such a fuss that one might think he was being treated for a major illness. However, she didn't dislike seeing this side of him.
‘I’ve always had my checkups alone. I wonder what it’ll be like.’
After finishing her bath and drying her hair, Bom wrapped herself in a bathrobe and stepped out of the bathroom.
“I heard even Middle Eastern billionaires come there for checkups. Right? It’s the best.”
Jae-gyu was on the phone. Is it a client? Even while Bom changed her clothes and applied sunscreen, the call didn't end.
Once she was fully ready, Bom pulled out a chair and sat down, gazing blankly at Jae-gyu as he talked. She couldn't understand why his back looked so sexy as he stood facing the window with one hand shoved into his trouser pocket.
His short-trimmed hair revealed his thick, long neck even more clearly. Along with his broad shoulders, his V-tapered torso boasted a perfect shirt fit. His firm, toned legs stood out beneath his resilient glutes.
Whose boyfriend is he? He’s so handsome. And was it just his physique? What about the face she’d see when he turned around? Come to think of it, his voice was deep and pleasant to listen to as well.
“I gave you a ticket for two, so did you go with Father just now?”
Bom, who had been observing Jae-gyu in a daze, suddenly snapped to attention at his words. Father?
“Um, who are you talking to right now?”
Bom quickly approached the window and grabbed Jae-gyu’s arm. Jae-gyu pressed a firm kiss onto the crown of Bom’s head and spoke into the receiver.
“Ah, Mother. Shall I put Bom on?”
“Is it my mom?”
The two of them are talking this early in the morning? Before she even had time to be surprised, Bom took the phone Jae-gyu handed her.
—Bom?
“Yeah, Mom. What’s going on all of a sudden? Since when have you and Jae-gyu…”
Her mother’s voice sounded exceptionally cheerful.
—We can talk about that later. Bom, you know Yoo Hee-jae, right? I ran into Yoo Hee-jae here earlier!
The name of a famous actress around her mother’s age suddenly popped up. After listening to the rambling for a while, Bom was finally able to grasp the situation.
It seemed Jae-gyu had sent her mother a full-package health checkup ticket for a famous private hospital.
It was famous for being expensive, but it was also the kind of place where money alone couldn't get you a reservation. Her mother was there to get her checkup today.
—Yoo Hee-jae was getting her checkup mixed in with the commoners, you know? When I went up to the private floor, her eyes went wide as saucers. Ugh, how satisfying! She’s always looked down on me. You remember, right?
After bragging for a long time, her mother made a fuss about the checkup starting soon. Before hanging up, she added one last thing.
—Bring your boyfriend up to Seoul sometime. I want to buy you guys something delicious.
After hanging up, Bom handed the phone back to Jae-gyu and tilted her head back to look at him. She had more than a few questions.
“Jae-gyu. How did you get my mom’s number? Since when have you been in touch? And what’s this about a health checkup ticket… and I heard you sent eel, too?”
“I’ll tell you on the way. Let’s head out.”
In the car on the way to the hospital, Jae-gyu cleared up Bom’s mountain of curiosities.
To put a long story short, her mother, who had kept Jae-gyu’s business card, had saved his number. He had popped up on her messenger app’s friend list, and they had started chatting occasionally.
“I had no idea you two were in contact. Mom is funny, too. Why didn't she say anything to me?”
To the sulking Bom, Jae-gyu said it seemed like she had a lot of regrets about the past and suggested they give her some time. After discussing various things related to that, they arrived at the hospital before they knew it.
After checking in, the two of them changed into examination robes in the locker room. The robes were a clean, navy wrap-style, and they even provided plush slippers. It felt luxurious in every way.
Jae-gyu had said he picked it carefully, and it certainly had a much better atmosphere than the places Bom had gone to before.
“You’re hungry, right? Once we’re done, let’s go demolish some beef ribs.”
Jae-gyu licked his lips as he named a rib restaurant they both liked. It was a place Bom had also mentioned wanting to visit again. However, they couldn't go today.
“You’ve been fasting for so long, you can’t eat something like that. You have to eat porridge.”
“Is that so? Ha, man. I’m getting nervous. What if I have some major illness?”
And here he was, bragging about being physically fit. Bom took Jae-gyu’s hand as he shifted his eyes anxiously. Jae-gyu immediately brought her hand to his lips and kissed it with a loud smack.
“This is my lucky charm.”
While they were like that, a nurse approached and guided them to the examination rooms. Jae-gyu looked disappointed when he was told that while simple tests would be done together, they would be separated after the ultrasound.
First, the two of them entered the physical measurement room.
‘Thank goodness, I’ve gained a little weight.’
It was the result of Jae-gyu taking such good care of her. After finishing her measurements on the machine that recorded height and weight simultaneously, Bom quickly stepped down to watch Jae-gyu’s turn.
She had always known he was big, but she wanted to know exactly how big he was in numbers.
Beep.
An electronic sound rang out, and the machine finished measuring Jae-gyu, displaying bright green numbers. Bom, who was checking the screen alongside the nurse, let her jaw drop.
