Outsmarting the Dullahan
Mu-hyuk pondered how to shift the dynamic.
It was simple.
Just give the Dullahan a reason it couldn't ignore the Bone Swords anymore.
Storm. Storm. Storm.
He cast Storm on every remaining Bone Sword.
Charge.
He sent one Bone Sword forward. Once again, the Dullahan checked Mu-hyuk first. Only after confirming the distance was safe did it turn to attack the Bone Sword.
-500+ HP
The Storm exploded on impact, dealing over 500 damage to the beast.
The startled Dullahan hesitated, staring blankly at the approaching Bone Sword.
It seemed to waver for a moment before attempting another attack—and the Storm burst again, inflicting more damage.
Only then did the Dullahan flinch and retreat.
Bone Sword 6, advance.
As Bone Sword 6 closed the gap, the Dullahan backed away. Then it raised its left hand.
Now!
Just as the creature's face opened its mouth.
Powerful Arrow Shot
The arrow shot straight into its mouth.
-1,160 HP
-2,228 Additional Damage
Special Status Applied
The massive damage sent the Dullahan thrashing wildly.
Under the barrage of Powerful Bows and Bone Archers' volley, it twisted to dodge or blocked with its right hand—showing signs of normal behavior amid the strain.
Mu-hyuk sent another Storm-infused Bone Sword. The Dullahan, flustered and indecisive, suddenly shuddered violently, as if furious.
Probably its pride refusing to admit it was scared.
With resolve hardened, it let out a roar and stomped the ground hard.
Krwooooaaargh!
Charging forward, the Dullahan swung its head wildly with its left hand.
The struck Bone Sword's bones crumpled, and the compressed wind power exploded, dealing damage.
Ignoring the hit, it pressed the assault relentlessly.
Boom! Kwoooom!
Bone Swords shattered in succession.
‘Bone Sword 7’ has been reverse-summoned…
‘Bone Sword 8’ has been reverse-summoned…
Mu-hyuk pulled back the Bone Swords, and the Dullahan prepared to fire its energy wave again.
He used Storm and Powerful Arrow Shot, ordering the Powerful Bows and Bone Archers to volley. Arrows flew almost simultaneously toward the beast.
Kieeeaaak!
Regrettably, it fired its energy wave first, before the arrows struck.
The shockwave shattered two Bone Swords and reverse-summoned one Enhanced Bone.
The silver lining: Mu-hyuk's arrow and two bone arrows from the Powerful Bows pierced deep into its mouth.

-261 HP
Trembling in pain, it fired another energy wave.
Kieeeaaak!
All remaining Bone Swords were wiped out. One more Enhanced Bone reverse-summoned, leaving only five.
With their HP critically low, they wouldn't last long against the Dullahan's attacks.
Mu-hyuk's gaze naturally turned to his remaining MP. He'd overused Storm, and it was already down by nearly half.
Still, he judged he could hold out a bit longer and continued commanding.
Mage's Magic Attack
Kwoo, krr…!
The Dullahan staggered from the mage's spell but soon hunched forward and charged straight at him.
The five Enhanced Bones thrust out their shields.
Kuuung!
Blocked, the Dullahan swung its head.
Thud, kwoong!
Blessing of the Dead
Blessing of the Dead revived the near-dead Enhanced Bone.
Storm. Powerful Arrow Shot.
He struck the beast, dealing damage.
While doing so, he checked its detailed info.
How much damage so far?
He roughly calculated by eye.
About 70,000.
Remaining HP around 20,000.
Final spurt!
With the beast berserking and fixated on attack, evasion was impossible. Mu-hyuk had no choice but to go all out.
Kirrik, kiririk.
He still had five warriors, nine archers, and six mages.
*
The Enhanced Bones died faster than expected.
Damn…!
Next, it targeted the skeleton archers, leaping in savagely to slaughter the Powerful Bows and Bone Archers.
Powerful Bow 1, 2—fall back.
Powerful Bow 3, all Bone Archers—volley.
Bone Archer 1—to the right.
Powerful Bow 3—back.
Powerful Bow 1, 2—volley.
He controlled meticulously to slow the slaughter.
Storm. Powerful Arrow Shot.
Yet he never stopped attacking.
Blessing of the Dead
He steadily healed as well.
Crack.
Still, the skeleton archers crumbled quickly—their low HP made it inevitable.
Left: one Powerful Bow and six Mages.
He approached a Mage and cast Storm.
Storm. Storm.
Then retreated, nocked an arrow, and loosed.
[Damage Dealt]
Kieeeaaak!
Perfectly timed, the Dullahan fired its energy wave. With his slow volley rate, Mu-hyuk couldn't aim for its mouth.
‘Powerful Bow 1’ has been reverse-summoned.
He hurriedly checked the Mages' status.
Cooldown remaining: 3 seconds.
Using Wind Step, he closed in. Circling to buy time, he ordered the Mages to attack.
Mage's Magic Attack
Kwaaagooogwang!
The magic erupted in explosion.
Flash.
Mu-hyuk hurled himself through the dust.
His immense speed scattered the dust, clearing his vision.
The Dullahan's back appeared perfectly. Closing in, he slashed its side. It twisted, swinging its head, but Mu-hyuk was already away.
Kieeeaaak!
It fired an energy wave.
Wind Step
Retreating swiftly, he nocked an arrow.
Storm. Powerful Arrow Shot.
The arrow embedded in the approaching Dullahan's chest, pushing it back a step.
It tried to move again, but Mu-hyuk was already circling widely.
How much HP left?
He scanned the details.
Total damage so far: roughly 80,000.
1,000 remaining.
Endgame now.
Another Powerful Arrow Shot. But suddenly, the Dullahan twisted, dodging the arrow and lunging toward the distant skeleton Mages.
With their cooldowns still long, they could do nothing. Watching them reverse-summoned futilely furrowed his brow.
Thuk, pubuk.
Mu-hyuk kept firing from behind, but it ignored him.

Shooting was all he could do.
Powerful Arrow Shot cooldown returned too late—all Mages gone.
One more mage spell could have shaved off a chunk of its remaining HP.
Regret gnawed at him.
Swoosh.
On cue, it turned, shaking its legs.
Dengsil, dengsil.
It started dancing.
That fucking…!
Blatant provocation.
Storm. Powerful Arrow Shot.
Blessing of the Dead
All attack skills hammered it.
MP left: about 500.
No summons meant 4-5 MP regen per second, but still short.
Precarious.
No MP potions.
Pop one per kill? Insane.
Hang in there first.
Potions were the last resort.
He kited, buying time.
Pang, paang!
Arrows harried it relentlessly.
Dengsil, dengsil.
Still dancing, it suddenly stomped and leaped sky-high, firing an energy wave from above.
Kiaaaaak!
Dodge or block?
His mind raced.
HP around 2,000—more leeway than MP. Better to shield than burn MP on Wind Step.
But he overlooked something.
Fired from high up, the wave's area widened downward—leaving his head exposed.
Hueup…!
HP dropped over 1,000. Worse: his senses reeled.
Shield down, he glared at the Dullahan, but vision blurred—distance impossible to gauge.
Coming?
Then impact on his head.
Kuung!
It swung its head.
-517 HP
Rolling across the ground, Mu-hyuk scowled and kicked off.
Wind Step
The world slowed, but vision still spun. Trusting the wind's push and pull, he surrendered to it.
Seconds later, sight cleared. He spotted the Dullahan, now quite distant.
Ending Wind Step, he nocked and loosed. The arrow fell short, but follow-ups struck home.
Closing distance improved accuracy; arrows hit easier.
Skills included, he shaved off about 2,000 HP.
Me?
MP around 200.
HP about 500.
Dullahan's remaining: estimated 3,000.
Razor-thin.
He'd saved MP potions, but not HP ones. MP could hit zero and recover; HP zero meant death.
Reluctantly, he downed an HP potion. Even if the plan failed, he had to survive.
He halted his retreat.
Turning, he faced the oncoming Dullahan head-on. At point-blank, it swung its head; Mu-hyuk rolled to dodge.
As it closed again, raining blows, he twisted, rolled, jumped—pure evasion.
Just dodge, dodge only!
His 110%+ reaction speed let him read its moves, making evasion possible.
A bit longer.
The Dullahan's face began distorting.
Fury rising.
That's when Mu-hyuk rolled back multiple times, creating distance, then bolted.
Glancing back: its face lay in its left palm, mouth gaping wide for energy wave. Mu-hyuk twisted urgently, shield up.
Kiaaaak!
-525 HP
Thanks to the potion, he survived.
Fortunate, but…
If this failed, death.
Huu…
Deep breath, then the skill.
Stealth
The long-saved set effect.
Mu-hyuk vanished.
The Dullahan approached post-energy wave, its face swiveling left and right on its palm.
Krr, krrruk?
A roar laced with doubt.
Naturally, its mouth opened.
-1,160 HP
-2,228 Additional Damage
Experience gained.
Dullahan defeated (1/200)
Relief washed over Mu-hyuk as the messages appeared.
