The Morning After the Frenzy
A night like a cultists' frenzied orgy had come and gone.
"Nngh…"
Sometime in the night Kaisent had passed out cold. Now he woke to a pleasant scent and the soft, yielding give of something plush beneath him. He lifted his head a fraction and looked up — and realized he had been sprawled across Lillian's body, using her breasts as a pillow.
"…Huh…?"
He still had no idea what was going on. The stupid sound slipped out of him a beat too late.
Careful not to wake her, he floated his body into the air with magic — and the full catastrophe came into view.
"What… what happened here…?"
Arty lay with massive dildos rammed into both her pussy and her ass, her belly swollen so tight it looked ready to burst at a single poke, her systems forced into emergency shutdown from overload. Lilith was collapsed in a pool of the semen he had pumped into her, fine blood vessels and red welts marking her body, her unclosing hole twitching open and shut. Priscilla was drenched in cum from head to toe, semen still leaking in thick streams from both her pussy and her ass. The only one even halfway intact was Lillian, the living meat-blanket he had been using — and even she was covered in the same whip marks as Lilith, red stripes all over her skin.
"What in the world… ngh!?"
In that instant, an enormous flood of memories and sensations poured into his skull.
"Urrrgh…!"
Everything more than ten clone bodies had seen and felt hit him at once. He clutched his head against the splitting headache — but the moment he finished digesting the memories, the pain vanished as if it had never been there.
"…I did this…?"
Only then did he understand that he himself had created this wreckage, and a dazed look settled over his face.
He had defeated Blood Zen, a powerhouse. He had brought down the predator that had once filled him with terror. That male triumph had cracked open the masculine side of him that usually only peeked out during sex — and it had come roaring out at a full hundred percent. His father's blood, inherited thicker and deeper than any of his siblings', had answered that surge by unleashing a violent lust meant to dominate and subjugate every female in reach.
Thump— thump— thump— thump—
At first the scene had horrified him. But as he remembered, one by one, exactly how he had made it, a strange, thrilling pulse began to beat in his chest.
I tormented them in the most violent, sadistic ways imaginable — and not one of them resisted. These females are completely mine now.
Lilith especially. He had put her through torture that would have justified an immediate counterattack, and still she had taken every last drop of his lust with a face that mixed pain and pleasure. The others, too — he had driven them all to their absolute limits. They had begged him to stop, yet none of them had fought back. Even though four of them attacking together could easily have overpowered him.
What… what is this? I want to torment them more…! More than this! In ways even more sadistic, even more agonizing!
He wanted to mold them into females so obedient they would accept it even if he tried to kill them. No — he wanted the very process of dying to feel like pleasure and happiness to them. The blood of his father, thicker in him than in any of his brothers or sisters, was screaming for exactly that.
No! Torment them until they can't even resist me!? I don't want to treat everyone like that!
But Kaisent had grown up gentle, surrounded by affection, and his innate goodness and reason rejected his father's way. There were limits to how far torment should go — and his father's blood was pointing him toward a direction far too dark for a kind, soft-hearted boy to bear.
If I keep hurting them like that, they'll all end up hating me!
No matter how much they loved each other, if they kept being put through this, affection would curdle into disgust — and then into pure hatred.
"Kaisent…?"
"Li… Lillian. You're awa…ke…"
Lillian stirred and called to him where he still floated in the air by magic.
"What's wrong?"
He had sat himself at the far edge of the bed, unable even to meet her eyes. She tilted her head.
"I'm sorry… It… hurts, doesn't it…"
"These? They're fine. If I circulate my mana and speed up the healing, they'll be gone before lunch."
"But… it still has to hurt…"
"I told you it's fine. Come here."
"Y-yes… wah?"
He approached her carefully — and her long arms snaked around the back of his neck and pulled him down onto the bed, startling a little cry out of him.
"Hehe♡ You're so tiny and cute like this♡"
Lillian held him close and stroked his hair.
"Honestly? It did hurt."
"Uuu…"
"If anyone else had done it, it would have been torture. But when it was you… I could feel happiness in it."
"What? Why?"
"Because I love you."
Even after everything he had put her through, she still spoke to him with love in her voice. Kaisent wrapped his arms tightly around her body. The difference in their heights buried his face between her breasts, and he could hear the steady thump of her heart.
Ah… this feeling… it's safe…
When his mother wasn't busy she would put him to sleep like this; when she was, his older sisters took turns. The familiar comfort pulled sleep over him again almost at once.
"I told you to rest today. Sleep a little more."
"Yes…"
Nestled against Lillian's chest, soothed by her scent and the beat of her heart, Kaisent let his eyes drift shut once more.
Love really is terrifying. To go through something this painful and still not be able to hate him…
With Kaisent asleep in her arms, Lillian could feel her own body and her own values quietly changing.
Don't worry. No matter what you do — I, at least, will always love you.
Eastern Continent. A stronghold of the Outer God Coalition.
"Gyaaah!"
"Guh!"
"Ahahahahaha! What the hell are you doing, you bastards!? If you're men, you should be charging me with hard cocks ready to rape me! Get those dicks up!"
Jin Su-ah — beautiful face, filthy mouth — carved through the Coalition's followers without mercy.
"…Everything else is fine. I just wish someone would do something about that mouth of hers."
"A woman taunting people to rape her…"
The knights of the Guardian Order who had stormed the base with her let out long-suffering sighs.
"So what!? Our founder built the Jin Clan by knocking down every woman he liked! If you just fuck 'em and dump 'em you're a rapist — but if you build a family, you're a hero!"
Jin Su-ah cackled at the knights' grumbling.
The founder of the Jin Clan had been a rapist who took women by force — and also a man of such talent that he forged a great house of his own. She said it openly and without shame. Raised in that family, her resistance to the idea of rape was low to begin with.
"Is that heterogenous woman the strange one, or is the world she came from the strange one?"
"Haaah…"
The knights sighed again and kept killing followers.
Using knowledge left by Blood Zen, the Outer God Coalition had been kidnapping people and refining them into materials to steal talent and grow stronger. The absorption rate was not especially high, but it had still produced results — stagnant powerhouses among the Coalition gaining new gifts, becoming stronger or more versatile.
Jin Su-ah herself had been attacked by one of those Coalition members. Following her founder's example, she had set out to bring down the secret organization working in the shadows of the world, gathering information her own way and honing her strength. By sheer luck she had struck one of their hidden bases and run into members of the Guardian Order. They offered her a place. She accepted, and began operating as one of them.
It might have looked reckless for an organization that lived on secrecy to take in an outsider so easily — but that was exactly why they took her. An otherworlder with no ties to anyone in this world. A nonbeliever who worshiped no god. A heterogenous being whose identity was easy to forge. Of course the Guardian Order still ran her through every interrogation spell they had, confirming beyond doubt that she had no connection to the Outer God Coalition.
"Haaaah~! This is the best! If I dragged every clan from the Central Plains over here, they'd all love it!"
"What a ghastly thing to say."
While Jin Su-ah was reveling in the slaughter, one Outer God Coalition follower who had overheard that she was from the Central Plains dropped to his knees in front of her.
"W-wait! Just a moment, please!"
"Hm? What do you want?"
"I-I am a descendant of the Central Plains people!"
"Descendant? Ah~ that China place? I've heard of it."
The biggest problem when she joined the Guardian Order had been the fact that she was a murim martial artist. Murim people — especially those who called themselves people of the Central Plains — looked down on everyone else under the banner of "Chinese civilization." And their descendants, the Chinese of this world, were the worst kind of heterogenous troublemakers imaginable. If they had simply looked like a different race, people might have shrugged and said, well, they're not human like us. But they were human, and their values were so alien that no one welcomed them easily.
"Yes! That's right! As a fellow person of the Central Plains, spare my life! I will serve you like a dog or a horse!"
He begged, clinging to shared blood.
"Hmm~ Let me think about it for a second."
Slash!
"Guh!?"
"I thought about it. No."
She said she would think — and less than a tenth of a second later she had cut his throat halfway through.
"Ghk! Guh! Glurk! Grrrk!"
"Idiot bastards. Fellow Central Plains people? I'd rather throw the whole thing away than take in trash descendants like you."
If he had shown even a scrap of backbone she might have been slightly tempted. But the second things looked bad he was on his knees surrendering, and that disgusted her. Especially once she learned that the Coalition followers in this stronghold had been eating people. She had no desire to be lumped in with creatures that barely counted as human.
"Aaagh!"
"A strong one! Call for support!"
A scream went up from the Guardian Order side.
"Oh! A strong one, you say!? Get out of the way, you bastards! I'll handle this!"
Jin Su-ah shoved her own allies aside and charged straight at the powerful enemy.
On the Eastern Continent the Outer God Coalition was already shrinking fast — partly because new powerhouses like Jin Su-ah had joined the Guardian Order, and partly because of the Haint Empire, which had unified the entire Eastern Continent. At this rate they would be forced to abandon the East completely. So the Coalition had halted external operations for a time, gathering intelligence and recruiting heterogenous masters who harbored grievances against this world instead.
KWOOOOOOSH!!
A colossal wave of flame smashed down, baking the earth as if it meant to turn the ground itself to charcoal.
"You son of a biiitch!"
Kang Myeong-cheol — black-haired East Asian man — threw up a defensive spell and clawed his way out of the pillar of fire, swearing the whole time. Long pursuit had left him exhausted; the barrier had not held perfectly.
"He's out!"
"Attack!"
The knights ringing the area charged as one.
Papapapapang!
"Kh!"
They opened fire with pistol-type magic guns, pressing him with hit-and-run tactics that mixed blade and bullet.
"Get the fuck out of my way, you bastards!"
He slammed magic into the ground and raised a localized earthquake that staggered their footing.
KRAK-KRACK!
Then he carved through knights in armor rated for high-tier magic defense with pure aura blades.
"Guhhk!"
"Grrrk!"
Every strike went for the neck. Armor shattered; sections of throat were sheared open. The knights clutched at their wounds and writhed.
Damn it! My strength is starting to give out!
At the start he had been cleaving those suits of armor clean through. Now he couldn't finish the cut, and the fact of it made him snarl with irritation.
"Guhhk… mon…ster…. You're… a monster…"
"Yeah, fuck! A ridiculously strong monster!"
The least-wounded knight stemmed the blood at his neck with mana and forced the words out.
"No… not… strength…"
"What?"
"You… make… so many people… guhhk… miserable…. A mon…ster…"
"Shut the fuck up! You bastards attacked me first! Just because I'm a heterogenous being!"
"N…o…. Before… any of that… you… should not… exist…"
"Shut your goddamn mouth!"
"I curse… your world…. For… creating… a mon…ster… like… you…"
"I said shut up!"
CRUNCH!
Kang Myeong-cheol smashed the knight's head — the man who had cursed not his strength, but his very existence. The blow shattered his own sword as well.
Clang!
He snatched the dead knight's blade and ran again, forced to keep fleeing.
"Found him!"
"Pin his feet!"
Knights who had been holding another perimeter came pouring in.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuuuuck! I was a hero — why the hell do I have to put up with this shit!?
A noble had shortchanged him on a completed contract by half. Enraged, Kang Myeong-cheol had killed the knights who came for him and headed straight for the noble's estate.
I'm not waiting around for the enemy like some idiot in a novel.
He had erased the mansion with magic. An entire noble house, wiped out in an instant.
He fled far afterward, and for a while it looked as if he had gotten away clean. Then something he had never expected happened. The Jericho Mercenary Corps under his command had been horrified that he had touched a noble. Terrified of being dragged down with him, they had secretly reported him to the knights of the next territory. They had already been nursing grievances against him, so they felt not a shred of guilt about the betrayal. Some of them had even prayed for his death.
The knights first treated the report as nonsense — but decided to interrogate him anyway and tried to drag him off to a questioning room under heavy pressure. He killed those knights too, raised another storm of chaos, and destroyed a second noble house.
With incidents stacking one on top of another, the Haint Empire — unifier of the Eastern Continent — dispatched a full investigation team. The surviving mercenaries reported Kang Myeong-cheol's existence to the investigators and placed themselves under imperial protection. If he had simply run alone, a wanted notice would have gone up and that would have been the end of it. But he could not forgive traitors. He annihilated most of the investigation team and slaughtered every last snitch among the mercenaries.
The survivors reported everything to the center. The Empire judged him an irredeemable, disaster-class heterogenous being beyond any hope of persuasion — and the present manhunt was the result.
"What the fuck did I do wrong to deserve this shit, you bastards!!"
In his own mind, toppling two noble houses and cutting down countless knights had been pure self-defense. The concept that he had committed any crime did not exist for him. All of this, he believed, was the mercenaries' frame-up. Even if the subjugation force learned his side of the story, they would still try to kill him just the same.
And so Kang Myeong-cheol — banished from his own world, turned into a vicious criminal, building a black reputation across the Eastern Continent — had become a being no one would welcome.
With strength like that…!
A follower of the Outer God Coalition, disguised among the subjugation force, watched it all unfold. Their power on the Eastern Continent was already waning. A heterogenous being this strong, carrying a deep grudge against the Empire — if they could pull him in, he would become a tremendous asset.
