19. Round and Round the Roulette
"Hyeong-sik, if there's another modeling gig like this next time, wanna do it with me again?"

Honestly, I knew exactly what I'd done today, so I never expected Yunah noona to suggest teaming up for another nude modeling job. That made her unexpected offer—coming while we were both drunk—even more surprising, and I immediately jumped on it.
She flashed a mysterious little smile at my answer, said "Got it," and started walking ahead, staring straight forward.
"So we're agreed for next time too, right?"

I matched her stumbling steps, propping up my wobbly legs as she kept confirming my answer. Before I knew it, we were at my rooftop room and her villa.

I dumped the empty ramen pot in the sink, and that's when it hit me—the quest rewards I hadn't checked in my drunken haze. Main quest plus two side ones: 40 points and three high-value items.
I grabbed the glasses I'd tossed by the bed last night, slipped them on, skipped the familiar system greeting, and opened my stat window and inventory.

Seeing my points and items stocked up nicely after pushing so hard yesterday—driven by pure lust—brought a satisfied grin to my face. But with it came a happy dilemma. Open the skillbook first? Or alternate: item draw, skillbook, item draw?
My chest tingled with anticipation as I pulled out one of the two random item draw tickets from my inventory.
The moment I grabbed the die etched with "?" on each face, a walnut-sized die appeared in my hand.
Mind-blowing every time. I fiddled with it to figure out how it worked, then casually rolled it like a normal die. AR projected onto my lenses, and a huge circular roulette wheel spun up above the now-still die.
[Chirrrrr...]
The wheel slowed, clacking against the arrow, letting me make out the items flashing by.
"Please please please..."
I clasped my hands, whispering "please" under my breath as it spun lazily. It was slowing, inching toward the Penis Awakening Potion I'd been dying for.
If I get that, even if I suddenly hook up with a girl, it'll turn into over 16cm...
I stared, half-disbelieving, praying the arrow would stop there. My heart pounded; my mouth went dry.

Unbelievably, it stopped right on the awakening potion. I whooped in joy—then the arrow teetered and slipped, the wheel nudging one more slot.

Buying one draw ticket costs 50 points, so this was a net loss. From 140 points' worth to 13 in a blink—devastating. I stared blankly at the empty space where the wheel had been, speechless, as the die turned to smoke and vanished.

Snapping out of it, rage boiled over at pulling junk. How does it stop on the good shit then nudge to crap? I clenched my fists white-knuckled, trembling, but no amount of anger would change the items.
Feeling my gut burn from dashed excitement, I chugged cold water from the fridge. The cool liquid soothed the fire a bit. Still one more draw left, so I sat back on the bed.
I reached into my inventory and pulled out the Random Skillbook, unsure what it'd give.
It materialized in my hand—a red hardback cover with a "?" smack in the center, just like the die.
Please let this be good... I opened it, and AR flared on my lenses: pages flipping rapidly.

Halfway through, it slowed and stopped. The book floated toward me, displaying the page.

Acquire via Random Skillbooks from the shop or special quests. Once acquired, skills cannot be deleted.
Your skill Lewd Gaze is an Active Skill. Cast it while looking at a woman to view her physical traits, current physical/psychological state, and more.
The system went on, explaining usage for my new Lewd Gaze and such, wrapping up with skill slot limits.
You can hold up to 5 skills by default. Purchase Skill Slots for 500 points each in the shop to expand.
Additionally, Skill Enhancement Scrolls (new in shop post-tutorial) can level up individual skills.
Lewd Gaze seemed super useful—like peering into a woman's enigmatic heart. But 500 points per extra slot? My jaw dropped.
If I buy more random skillbooks and roll four duds in a row, no deleting means shelling out 500 points first for a slot. The point drain made my head spin.
